Staff was very friendly and accommodating, room was clean and bed was very comfortable and quiet. Central to where we needed to be. Inside of the hotel was clean, and pretty nice.

Smoking lounge facility at the main front door had a number of people in it and partially obstructed access to the main front lobby door both times we arrived at the hotel during our stay. This needs to be cleaned up more often, and better yet moved to another location farther from the main front door so non smoking guests don’t have to work their away around the smoker to access the building. Perhaps it was just a busy night, but not a very good first impression. We will be back to see what it’s like next time.

This place is in a great location with a super well-lit parking lot. The lobby is a spacious and inviting area with a cozy spot to watch TV. The staff at the front counter were really friendly and professional, and everything looked neat and tidy. My wife was thrilled to learn that they have laundry facilities on-site, with coin-operated machines. The swimming pool may be a bit small, but it’s still fun and the hot tub works great. They were happy to accommodate our request for two rooms side by side, and it was no problem at all. Rooms being on the second floor it was great the know they had elevators to make taking things up easier. The rooms were very clean, with plenty of storage space for our belongings and all the necessary amenities. The furniture looked brand new and in good condition, and the bathrooms were also very clean and spacious. The shower and tub were spotless from top to bottom, and the towels were super clean too.

I found the room we stayed in to be on the high humid side. Though the bedding and blankets were very clean, I can feel the humidity affected them. The biggest bummer was that we didn’t get any breakfast except for coffee and a granola bar. The fruit on the side didn’t look very fresh, and an apple was bruised from something heavy placed on top of it. They said we could go to the Denny’s on the property, but considering how much we paid, it would have been nice to at least get a discount coupon for breakfast during our stay. So, we decided to have breakfast at McDonald’s instead to stay within our budget.

The Cleanliness, location and most especially the front office staff. First of all, for some reasons my reservation was no where to be found. I called the hotel and spoke with Pooja first, she tried to help me with my reservation , I was waiting for an email for the new reservation but didn’t receive it. I called once again and spoke with Shavan told him the situation and was very helpful he then made my reservation. At check in, I finally met him and mentioned that I received email from Sandman Hotels to become a member and helped me signed in for Future Reservations direct to Hotel. In that way I won’t lose my reservation anymore.

I realize you have two restaurants attached but something like muffins and coffee available in the morning would be nice.

We needed a room close to a door for my husband post surgery. We were kindly put in a wheelchair accessible room. The location worked. Just very noisy with mechanical room, elevator and conference people in the front entry all outside the door. Maybe an accessible room one floor up would have been better? But all in all it worked for us.

Front desk was super friendly (a fellow ontarien as well!) and when asked if we knew we booked two queens for three people and I said yes, she asked if we wanted to upgrade to a family suite free of charge! We’ve never been in a family suite, let alone one with bunk beds, before so of course we jumped on it. And what a right one it was; sleeping in those bunk beds was like a happy flashback to when my sister and I had bunk beds for most of our childhood while mom happily enjoyed the king sized to herself. The friendliness and attention from the staff alone, is a reason I’ll come back. You people sure are friendly; it’s rare for even the cleaning staff to smile (for real) and say hello to us as we pass them in the hallway.

At first we thought our bathtub wasn’t cleaned as it looked stained, turns out it’s like a rusted peeling thing happening to the tub material itself. The only other thing though that really disappointed us (and I know the staff can’t control this) was how extremely full the small swimming pool was. We would check it every hour if the amount of people diminished, but sadly it was so full till it closed that we never got the chance to swim.

We were in Calgary to buy supplies for our business in Canmore and so we needed a location close to the main shopping areas. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

The staff made our visit. Sometimes we have stayed in more exclusive hotels and found that the level of service was not great. It was great to have a well maintained swimming pool, which was warm.

Everyone was very nice. The property was clean. It was a very fun place to stay!

We couldn’t get our room cleaned without asking a few times. When it did get cleaned the door was left open and not pulled to and left open all day while we were out. They had it fixed and apologized.

Bed was comfy, pool was nice, decent location

Kitchen staff bring out bottles and recycling around midnight every night and our room was directly above the garbage/recycling in the back parking lot, so every night we were woken up by bottles crashing breaking and the kitchen staff talking and smoking etc

The hotel is great, always is every time i stay there. I choose to stay there for the staff. The employees throughout the hotel are always amazing.the beds, pillows, fridges, blackout curtains, bathrooms, everything is what i would hope for when paying what i do for a room and it never disappoints. Recently i travelled from far north and came into Calgary needing a room right away so i went to the airport area of Calgary. I don’t know why i bothered, the rates were high and buses everywhere,very loud area. So i did what i should have done initially and drove the extra 17 minutes to the best place in Calgary. Thank you for a proven track record of always being #1

That was our second time to stay in this hotel, we love the location, great for shopping very convenience, the service is great.

But this time when we got in the room frist day bathroom had some bad smell, and also when we turned on the air conditioner it has some wet smell as well for the whole 5 nights, we had to open the window when we are not in the room, but the window can only open slightly, I can see air outlets pretty dirty , not sure if the filler need to be clean too. Please double check on that, besides, very thing else was great.
