The hotel exceeded expectations. The location overlooks the cathedral, we enjoyed the morning and evening views. They upgraded our room for free, we got an exclusive, very nice apartment. We had both a bath and a shower, there was even a TV in the bathroom, we didn't have to turn it on. A reliable sparkling drink with chocolate, a capsule coffee machine. Amazing breakfast with a sparkling drink, if you want it. There is a 24-hour spa, only a symbolic fee for towels of a few euros at the reception. The jacuzzi is spacious, warm, there is a sauna. In Germany people like to be naked in the sauna, you have to get used to it. We refused daily cleaning, reception offered it to us, so they refunded 30 euros for 3 nights. If we go to Dresden, we will definitely return to this hotel with pleasure.

Our room was on the 2nd floor directly over the dining room/kitchen so there was a lot of noise until late at night & morning coming through the air vents on the floor of the room. We overlooked the center of the building which was simply other windows of the hallway & rooms, not a courtyard. Therefore we had to keep the curtains closed so the other guests couldn´t see in. Considering how empty the hotel was it could have been nice to been on a higher floor with a street view.

FABULOUS location overlooking the marketplaza and looking directly at the old church at the center. Windows opened right over and overlooked the colorful nightlife, but the sounds did not reach the room so it was very peaceful at all hours. The room itself was very well appointed and comfortable. Totally loved our stay here.

Finding the entrance to the hotel was a challenge. Had to wander around a bit and thankfully, a local worker pointed me in the right direction. We were driving so took a few turns around the block to get there only discover had I tried the 2nd door in the alley, it would have opened (the first one was locked).

The location, the location...Luxurious environment with high comfort befitting a 5-star hotel, comfortable bed, AC, bathrobe... Relatively quiet on the street below. We didn't eat breakfast. There is a garage, which is more expensive, but we were recommended a large public parking quite close, among other things the parking app EasyPark could be used for payment. The staff was nice and helpful.

A bit unclear and quite discreet entrance to the hotel, also partly blocked and one-way street makes it difficult to get around, tricky when unloading luggage from the car. My recommendation is to first park in the public parking lot and then check in at the hotel for further instructions.

The location of this hotel is amazing. Our room - 215 - was a corner suite with an abundance of windows, most of them looking directly out into the old town square and the Frauenkirche, the emblem of the city. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space in this room. The breakfast was pretty good with enough selection to get our day started. We parked in the public lot very close by the hotel and it worked out fine for us and saved some money over paying the hotel to park the car for us. We enjoyed looking out onto the square at all the people and activity. Highly. recommend this hotel.

Towels could have been a bit thicker for this caliber of hotel.

The Hotel Suitess exceeded our expectations during our family vacation. Located in Dresden's historic old city, the hotel offers an ideal base for exploring the city's attractions. The location is perfect, with numerous restaurants and cafes within walking distance. What stood out: 1. Prime location in Dresden's historic center 2. Excellent accessibility to local attractions 3. Wide variety of dining options nearby 4. Exceptional staff service - very attentive and responsive to all requests 5. Family-friendly atmosphere My wife, son, and I thoroughly enjoyed both the hotel and Dresden itself. The staff's friendliness and willingness to accommodate our needs made our stay particularly comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel for both families and tourists looking to experience the best of Dresden's historic center.

Great location, near to the opera, museum and historic places. The apartment was spacious with a well equipped kitchen.

On a very hot day, we arrived an hour earlier than 3PM and the staff was not so accommodating and let us check in only "two minutes" before 3PM! We had been traveling over four weeks and this hotel was the 7th hotel and never experienced such a rigid place. We were looking forward to come back to this hotel after two years, but this time, somehow it did not feel as friendly as before, especially for a five star hotel.

LOCATION: You leave the hotel and after few steps you are in the old city. FOOD: Very good breakfast with rich choice of fish, sausages, food for vegetarian. Breakfast restaurant on the top floor with glas roof with side view on the Frauenkirche. PERSONAL: Very friendly and wanting to help. Big thank you to all staff at reception. PRIVATE UNDERGROUND PARKING: Rare in this part of city. In case you want to grab something from the car, you just reach the underground floor with the lift instead of running to public parking 'nearby'.

There is some potential for improvement of situation of handicapped people at Suitess: a) No handle above the bathtub. No emergency button or other method of calling for help in case the handicaped guest stucks in the bath tube, b) Room with some stairs inside w/o having iformation about it in the room description Additionally in the 5* hotel I would expect more care about details (rocking table at the restaurant)

I chose this hotel right in the heart of Dresden’s Altstadt. The hotel faces some of the most beautiful sights of the Old Town and is very convenient for getting around. The parking fee is €45, but in return, the hotel staff will drive your car to the garage and bring it back for you — you just need to sit and wait. Everything was excellent. The hotel lobby and the overall atmosphere made me feel comfortable and relaxed after a long day of exploring. This is one of my favorite hotels to stay at when visiting Dresden.

The location was convenient for me.

There is elevator and the steps are narrow, and there is no staff at all to help you out. The text message help desk is like a chatbot and administrative and not helpful in getting issues with the room solved. Delivering messages to the cleaning people is the full extent of what they will do. When you get no help they will tell you they have conveyed the message and there is nothing else they can do. Zero guest service. You are paying for a number locked room in an old building with a very curt and administrative remote super. The bed was unusually uncomfortable, and all of the pillow cases had yellow stains. A heavy metal towel hanger on the bathroom door dropped on the floor. Overall photogenic but unsafe and wonky and unpleasant.
