The lady at check in was amazing! Honestly she’s the reason I’m leaving a review in general. She was welcoming and kind. She went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and happy she realized my son wanted to play in the pool and she made sure he had enough time to do so sense we got there a little later in the night. I wish I could have gotten her name. The room was great, we stayed in a room with a huge spa tub inside. The ac made quite some noise. The courtyard was sooooo cute, that might have been one of my favorite things! Overall it was a good place to stay and the hospitality really made my stay a positive experience.

The AC might need some maintenance.

The murals are a fantastic addition to the charm of the place, The breakfast has taken a hit on quality, I'm thinking maybe new owners since we were here last year, I didn't check out the pool,I just had back surgery, and the doctor said NO SWIMMING or Getting my back wet

The floor hadn't been moped in quite a few visiters,I walked bare foot and my feet were black and tacky,sticky, I washed my feet and put socks on and threw them away when I left

My husband reserved a king suite room, yet when we arrived, the room was unavailable-- so we were upgraded to a jacuzzi honeymoon suite! Okay, we'll happily oblige! Other than that, the hotel was so nice, the atmosphere was incredible, the room was great, the breakfast was fantastic, and the price was phenomenal! Also, the staff were super nice, extremely helpful. It was a great stay; I just wish we weren't there for only one night!

Our upgraded room did have some damage; the loveseat had a tear or two in it, the door to the bathroom had a rather large hole in the door (it was like the hanger was yanked out of the door) and my husband notified them, which was helpful. And I hate to do this, especially since it wasn't really the hotel's fault, but a heavy aroma of pot/cannabis all around the hotel, within the rooms (that stuff seeps into and through everything), all about the walkways, everywhere! Again, I know that it isn't the hotel as there are not supposed to smoking of any kinds in the rooms, but it was an overwhelming pot smell, so I just wanted to let anyone know that terrible vice to be wary of.

My partner and I loved the room that we stayed in, the breakfast provided was grand and it saved us money in the end, and the hotel itself was beyond artsy and lovely. We loved the information that the staff assisted us with, the stay was astounding!

There is nothing that I can think of that we didn't like staying there. Everything was perfect, this was a appreciated stop for us for the evening.

I liked the style and atmosphere. Its super close to Eel River brewery.which is a great place. I wish I had remembered my bathing suit because they had a nice indoor pool. Next time I stay there I'm going to walk on the Eel River trail right behind the motel.. It's right off the 101, so easy access., but you don't see or hear the traffic.

My room was a little noisy. It seemed like there was a lot of activity. But that could have just been the particular neighbors, happy kids and a dog; nothing that made me feel unsafe.

Nice, comfortable room close to the Avenue of the Giants as we continued our trek from the Oregon Coast through the Redwoods and over to Lake Tahoe. We loved the beautiful murals in the hallways, the nice, bright and convenient breakfast area. And we even bought a souvenir mug from their gift area. We would recommend to anyone and stay again if we’re in the area.

The biscuits and gravy were good. The eggs….not so good. It’s a good breakfast to take advantage of if you’re wanting to hit the road early. Coffee could’ve been stronger. It’s a “no thrills” location, but it is clean and quiet. 👍

The quality of the bath towels should be improved.

Comfortable, clean, good location. We like the murals. Walking distance to restaurants and River walk. Great staff.

We’ve stayed here off and on since it first opened. It’s showing its age and could use a little upgrading. But this doesn’t deter from the overall quality of our stay.

It was nice and clean. There are really nice murals. The accommodations were well appointed.

The lobby and pool facilities were quite cold. They just needed to crank the heat. I normally run hot and it wasn’t hard to stay warm. Very short pool use, and a rush back to the room for a hot shower.

The shower floor was very slippery and apparently there was a spider in my bed and while I was sleeping it bit me six time on my left lower leg. I fold the bits the next morning and over the course of the next few days hurt and spread around the bits.
