I liked the location (in a quiet place nearby the cozy village), the family hotel atmosphere and the wooden furniture. The room was very clean and neat. The breakfast was a highlight: it was elaborated, delicious and nutritious; full of choices and good quality. Perhaps due to the wooden construction and the building having a bit of a history, in the morning when everyone's up, the people movements in the corridor and in the other rooms was quite audible. However, this was not an issue to me. Overall, I really appreciated the place and would highly recommend it.

I didn't like the fact that the Hotel decided to tell me when it was too late that the restaurant was not going to open as staff were on holiday.Thats fine everyone is entitled to a holiday but the establishment must of known way way in advance to mine and everyone's booking in advance,I would of cancelled and gone too another hotel as there is nothing around for miles to eat.What also upset me is I looked to book a room on day of my stay via booking .com and it didn't state anything about staff but did state I quote ....restaurant open on day of your stay.

The breakfast was outstanding with many choices (bread, rolls, sausage, cheese, eggs, cake, fruits, lachs, German speck, and much more) coffee, tea, juice. I liked the friendliness of all staff ("German Gastfreundschaft").

It was very hot weather during my stay and the room did not have airconditioning.

The location very close to the A5 is convenient and the restaurant serves good typical food. The best though is the elaborate breakfast buffet.

It is a bit big and because of that lacks the hearty welcome you sometimes get in smaller gasthofer.

A very cute hotel we visit every summer on our way to the south of France. We always look forward to enjoying a wienerschnitzel and some of the local wine after a long drive. We always bring our (very big) dog and he is always welcome.

Super friendly, marvelous breakfast, nice room with balkony, easy parking, and Riegel is fully equipped with all facilities. In short: perfect stay, perfect location, a great time.

The breakast was amazing, the room was very cosy with the balcony, the staff was very friendly.

It was hot in the room, with no air conditioning. But that should probably have been expected. Everything else was great.

The accomodation is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff is really welcoming and nice. The restaurant offers simple but good meals. Breakfast was amazing. There is room for parking your car. On busy days you will have to park in one of the streets nearby the hotel. The staff will help you with finding a good parking spot.

The room was very hot and there was no ventilator or airconditioning.

Good location, friendly reception (with an added benefit of speaking Polish!), very nice setup with garden. Good breakfast, unless you look for vegan diet.

Too small and not well described parking (we had to park outside of the hotel), lack of air condition.
