The location is amazing, it is right in front of the beach, you just have to cross the street and you are right there. It is also within walking distance to the Lauderdale-by-the-sea Downtown area, which has tons of good restaurants and local shops! The facilities are also very good, there are two heated pools and they offer beach chairs, towels and umbrellas (you have to deposit $50 that it will be returned after you return the items). The bedroom was okay, there is a mini kitchen which is nice if you want to save money with food, or if you want to reheat leftovers. Staff was amazing and very polite. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend 100%.

The volume and pressure of water in the shower is very low, making showers very long. Our bed wasn't the greatest (too thin) and there were some hairs on the sheets and pillows. There were no outlets next to the beds on room 22.

Location was perfect. Could walk easily to several things including the beach. They offered chairs/umbrella/beach towels which is a huge help. The pool we had was heated which was very nice. You could tell the room was renovated/updated. The staff were very nice. The young man who checked me in delivered the beach chairs/umbrella to our room which was so kind. I would definitely stay again.

The only issue I noted was an oulet and the outlet cover was loose in the bathroom and was difficult to get the plug to line up nicely. But this is an older hotel with lots of nice updates and I realize things are not always easy to fix.

Clean, modern, spacious, well furnished rooms, including an extremely complete kitchen with all the appliances that you want and a complete set of plates, bowls, and utensils for 4 people. The very comfortable queen bed that easily folds down from the wall freed up lots of living space during the day. Clean, well-maintained, onsite pool and barbeque facilities really make this motel an appealing destination for a longer stay. It is also just one block from the beach. Good hot shower, with great water pressure. Easy walking distance from lots of dining an entertainment options.

I guess it would have been nice to be right on the beach instead of one block back, and to have more of a view from the room, but I don't think it would be reasonable to expect either of those things at this price point, so taking price into consideration, there was nothing I didn't like. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere of the hotel is what brings us back. It’s nostalgia and “feels” like old school beach vacation. I love how quiet it is. Perfect for a relaxing time. The location is perfect for a short walk to restaurants and entertainment. Also, immediately across the walkway from the beach. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well equipped for places to hang wet towels and suits for overnight drying. I love that every room has their own chairs and side table for relaxing outside the door. I like the old school entry to rooms with an actual key so you can leave the door unlocked for running in and out quickly without need for a key while hanging out by the pool. We have visited many times because we love the hotel!!

Ideally located (literally 2 minutes from the beach) and excellent place to stay when visiting Lauderdale By The Sea. Friendly staff, with a very customer centric and service minded hotel manager. She was very accommodating to any questions that might come up (e.g. made available beach chairs for use on the beach).

This is only applicable for our specific room in building A: would have loved to have a little space with 2 chairs and a small table by the outside entrance to the room. Not a big thing, but would have been nice for two Norwegians to sit andhave a glass of wine in the evening :-)

Very clean-Friendly maid-good location-Host very nice and professional.

The curtains didn’t cover the entire windows. The curtains didn’t match.The water pressure pump made a lot of noise when it turned on. After flushing the toilet the water valve would fill the toilet bowl and then turn off as expected when the bowl was filled, and after a while turn on again and start filling the bowl. These are minor maintenance problems that should be repaired because it’s annoying hearing the toilet start to fill again.

Our stay at Coral Key Inn was great! The staff were super friendly. The location was perfect. Easy access to the beach. The pool was amazing. Even the other visitors were friendly.

I do believe the room could have been a bit cleaner. When I took off my shoes I got grit all over my feet. So, I had to walk around in my shoes for the rest of our stay. BUT the biggest issue we had was the sleeping arrangements. When you advertise a sofa bed, you should get a sofa bed. Not a broke down chase lounge that you have to put a table with a cushion on it at the end just to be long enough so your feet don’t hang off. Plus, who knows how many bodies have slept on it. How do they clean it? Wouldn’t it be cleaner to get an actual sofa bed and put sheets on it.

The location was wonderful - directly across from a little park with beach access. It was nice to have a kitchenette in my room and a pleasant outdoor seating area by the pool. When I arrived, I was surprised that there wasn't a regular bed. There was only a murphy bed, but it was very comfortable. It did not end up being a problem for me. I paid a little extra for room with a sea view. I would not do that again. I would not call it a sea view, but there was a certain angle where you could see a tiny glimpse of water.

There should be a more accurate description of the room on booking.com.

We loved how kid friendly the place was. We also liked the size of the room…it was like a mini apartment which is awesome when traveling with many kids. Having everything we needed to cook a meal was nice as the the restaurants can get pricey for 5 people every meal. They even had a poolside propane grill we used for steaks! The pool was heated which was GREAT since our first two days the weather only reached 69 degrees making it too chilly to hangout at the beach. The hotel staff were also very accommodating and friendly. The free parking was a great plus as well.

I felt the bedding could use an upgrade as the comforter was more like a light blanket rather than a a comfy comforter. The beds were hard and hurt our backs in the morning so we ended up moving the kids to the beds and we opted for the couch that turned into a bed, it was slightly more comfortable. Lastly we understand this is a small possibly family owned inn, but we called after hours around 7 for more blankets and I think they were closed completely. Not a big deal to us but I can see this might be an issue if someone really needed assistance after hours.

The room was very comfortable. This is the third time that I stayed in this hotel. The room had a living room, kitchen and dining, bathroom, and one bedroom.Even though it’s not in the beach, the location is very nice. You only have to cross the street which there’s no traffic and the beach is right there. It is very close to Publix supermarket and several restaurants.
