The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The chef was fabulous. He cooked whatever we wanted for breakfast. They should offer lunch too. Nothing fancy, maybe one or two options. The atmosphere around the pool was so relaxing, we stayed around the pool for two days,so lunch would have been nice. Rooms were beautiful as was the courtyard. The taxi stand outside the hotel was great. Loved the town too.

The 3 small barking dogs woke me up three times. They were pretty obnoxious during the day also. I believe they are owned by the hotel owner. Bring earplugs if the dogs are on sight. They weren’t there the first few days of my visit.

Comfortable, pleasant stay overall. Location was very good to main square, restaurants, shops and main sights. It would be better if the breakfast had a little more variety and better coffee.

Problem with no water in the bathroom for a day but the management was was apologetic. Backup water was provided until the problem was fixed. The breakfast foods offered had little variety, fruits, juice, eggs and coffee that was not very good. The Nepresso cups provided in the room tasted better.

The hotel team were super friendly and helpful and the location was great. Walking distance to the centre and loads of great restaurants. The hotel building itself is stunning. They've taken a lot of time and effort with the design of the space and the rooms all have their own unique charm.

I would have liked to have seen a menu for the breakfast as we weren't really sure what was available. The breakfast team were really friendly and what we did have was great though.

This beautiful boutique hotel is right in the zona centro. It's quiet, has a lovely common area, a nice relaxing pool and a jacuzzi. Rooms are very comfortable. I booked the most basic room and it was still a great choice. Mine only had a small window that didn't open, which would normally be an issue for me, but I didn't mind because it had high ceilings and was big enough not to feel suffocating, and I could keep the door open if I wanted some daylight in. Also, I knew I wasn't going to spend much time inside. Staff was very kind and accomodating with my request for early check in, they made me feel welcomed and made my stay very pleasant!

Everything was great. My only suggestion is that extending pool hours to maybe 8 pm in the warmer months would allow customers to enjoy the pool area better.

Excellent location. Everything in town is walkable. Right in the city center and just far enough away from the main square to be very quiet. The hotel is beautiful. They have a curated art collection and attention was paid to every detail of the decor. Especially the rooftop and courtyard. It was amazing! The hotel concierge staff, Daniela, Benjamin and Gerardo were so helpful and kind to us. They set up tours and gave good local recommendations that we wouldn't have found otherwise. The Chef, Mauro made us a delicious breakfast every morning. Try his chilaquiles. 10/10!

Concepcion is a beautiful hotel! The setting is picturesque inside, with bright courtyards and comfortable seating around the pool. Our room was picturesque, with high ceilings and lovely amenities. The staff were unbelievably thoughtful and friendly, helping us find things in San Miguel and overall just being very kind. Breakfast was delicious every day. We thought it a beautiful place and we were happy to come back to it every night of our stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting San Miguel!

The hotel is in a very central location and has been beautifully renovated. The staff were attentive and very friendly, providing several recommendations for the local area. The rooms are luxurious and well-appointed. The pool area is well placed with a gorgeous exposed historical wall. Words can not describe how beautiful the city of San Miguel de Allende is. I highly recommend that if you are planning to visit, you give this hotel serious consideration.

The staff is excellent and the hotel is unique with a lot of character. The rooftop gives a nice view of the city which is a bonus.

The breakfast could have been better. A little disappointing on this front. Also, the bathroom is a bit outdated, and one felt it is not that clean because of the rust and some dark dots which I am not sure if it is mould or rust.

The breakfast exceeded our expectations; it was delicious with many options to choose from and eggs cooked to order.

There should be flashlights in every room. The power went out for a few hours and there were no flashlights in the room. The staff was helpful when we requested a flashlight and found one for our room and our friends' room.

Rooms were large and beautifully designed. Staff were attentive and responsive. The hotel manager was terrific. Breakfast was made to order. Hotel is very clean, attractive and centrally located. Great Jacuzzi and pool area. This is truly a boutique hotel in all respects. Would go back there in a minute.

TV and door locks were difficult to work for a technophobe. I’m sure I could have asked but didn’t bother.
