I greatly appreciate the special room request on booking, cafe overlooking beautiful Ganga Ma, and close proximity to the blessing of Sivananda Divine Life Ashram. The Ayurvedic massage therapists are authentically skilled and help hugely after long travels - special thank you to Rinki. This is a simple, no frills hotel - yet the wonderful staff, positive vibrations, clean rooms, and great location close to holy places makes this one of my favourite places to stay. We had such a wonderful experience at Sanskriti Vedic Retreat. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the bridges, making it very convenient and peaceful at the same time. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. A special mention to the chef, who prepared absolutely amazing meals that made my stay even more memorable. Overall, it’s a beautiful place with great vibes, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rishikesh. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The team is very flexible with the menu and always ensures that every guest is happy and satisfied. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with so much care. On top of that, the restaurant has an incredible view, making breakfast not only delicious but also a truly relaxing experience to start the day.

The only thing I feel could be better is the entrance. Since cars are not allowed on the main road where the retreat’s entrance is located, arriving with luggage can be a little inconvenient. It would be great if they could create an alternative entrance from the upper road with more space, it would make arrivals and departures much smoother.

This was my second stay in Sanskriti, I stayed for three weeks. The location is perfect for all kinds of activities, since it is very close to Sivananda Ashram, Ram Jhula and the boat connection across the Ganga and you can easily reach Rishikesh centre, Tapovan and Lakshman Jhula. Rooms are well equipped with a balcony and view on the Ganga. You enjoy the most beautiful view on Ganga and the mountains from the restaurant, where healthy and tasty vegetarian meals are served. The whole place is neat and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful (special thanks to Kulpeet, Shravan, Abishek and Vishal) and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Everything, the location, atmosphere, hygienic conditions , spiritual ambience, exceptional staff, especially Shravan Pundir and Vishal whom went beyond their duties in making our stay so awesome with such warmth and humility. They are exceptional souls at such tender ages. Not forgetting the cook who whipped up the most divine meals every single day. God Bless everyone who ensured our stay was the most memorable of all the cities we visited in India. The magic and pulse of Maha Khumba was most saturated in Rishikesh spilling over into Sanskriti Retreat.. How blessed were us to have been privileged to experience such a momentous once in a lifetime spiritual elevation like no other. We feel truly blessed to have been there to soak it all in at a perfect paradise as Sanskriti Vedic Retreat. Oceans of gratitude , God's divine blessings upon all of you , and all our South African love. ❤️

Problems with room shower, but was sorted out.

First time in Rishikesh and India was unsure as a solo traveller where to stay. I loved staying here at Sankriti Vedic Retreat hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, Ravi and Kuldeep at reception and Shravan at the restaurant, a big thank you to all the staff. The bed was super comfy and the room is a little older yet clean and felt safe, I slept so well. They offer meditation class in the evening and yoga in the morning with Punam which I highly recommend! It’s very close to popular sites and Ram Jhula walking over the holy Ganges River. Food was great and the service great! I will definitely be staying here next time I’m in Rishikesh!

Access via stairs only, not a dislike just important to know.

Best Service and hospitality. Best location - right next to Ganga river and Ram jula. Best food - amazing breakfast options and very tasty lunch and dinner. Best spa options. Best suggestion by staff for local visits. Kuldeep even arranged us a Scott hire to be dropped and picked up from the retreat. Unforgettable stay. We loved everything about the retreat and Rishikesh overall.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Great hotel, very clean, perfect location, I tried all their services: meditation and yoga (complimentary) - amazing experience, cafe - stunning best view and delicious food, massage (average good). Very spacious room overlooking the mountains and river, very caring staff.

Some bathroom facilities void have been better checked: toilet was hard to flush, there was liquid soap dispenser on the wall but no soap inside, sometimes during the day there was no water at all. Very weak wifi

Nice cozy stay near ram zulla in the centre of hrishikesh .all attractions are just on walkable distance or easily approachable by share rickshaw. Staff is very helpful 👌 and arranges all things as per your need .The best part is restaurant from where you can have a nice ganga view.Food quality is very good serving a variety of cuisines.Overall value for money ,like to stay again over there

No lift that is the only drawback

Very nice view onto the river son the terrace and they offer Ayurvedic massages on site as well as doing morning yoga and evening meditation. We were quite short on time so couldn’t participate in either of them but it’s great to have that opportunity to start the day with yoga. Location is also very good and close to Yoga centre. Very nice staff and friendly people around there.

Parking is limited. You need to park outside and walk a bit to get to the hotel.

Exceptional Staff! Location just 2 blocks away from Ram jhula. Balcony with partial view of Ganga (not direct view as there is a building on the other side of the street that blocks the view). Nice beautiful room (needs some upgrade as door sqeaks and wardrobe is old). Bathroom could be nicer.

Access! One has to climb down steps to reach the hotel from main road. Not recommended for senior people. Makes it difficult to move luggage as you need to use the steps. No parking
