I had a great time on my 3 nights solo stay. The Relais is in an amazing location and the owners kept the property in its own character as one would expect. Great location and amenities, at a short distance from Abbadia San Salvatore and the Peak of Monte Amiata. I was escaping the furnace of Rome with its heat and found exactly what I was looking for. I was welcomed by the staff in every occasion with a smile and professionalism. The room was as expected, cosy and clean. The staff also did a very good job in keeping in touch with me though messages and emails throughout my whole stay. Clean and very well kept. Highly recommended.

The hotel is clean, and has been renovated with good care. It has a large parking, and all the required facilities for a great stay. Lovely restaurant with high quality food. Enjoyable breakfast too. Federica from the reception desk was an amazing host, congrats for her professionalism and kindness.

Maybe we were unlucky, but staff members were not very welcoming (at the exception of the lady at the reception desk in the evening, which was clearly apart). It always seemed like staff members were mad or frustrated by any request coming their way, which goes against the principle of being a touristic accommodation. The hotel is also located far away from other villages, at the top of a mountain. It has some charm, but if you expect to visit the region everyday it’s not optimal.

We enjoyed our stay here, especially because of the charming garden. It was a pleasure to spend time outside, enjoy the silence, fresh air and the sky, or read a book by the pool. Staff was nice and although they were not always able to help with specific requests, we could tell they wanted to do so and that is what matters the most. :)

Not necessarily "didn't like", but rather one thing that could be improved is the breakfast; there are not that many choices. if you stay 1 or 2 days it's fine, but if you stay more you tend to get bored of it.

We had a great time — the apartment was comfortable and clean, and even though there was no air conditioning, the room was almost cool. The hospitality was kind and attentive, and the food was also very delicious.

The location is amazing, fresh air and a great pool area. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very clean. The food was very tasty, one of the best pasta we had in Tuscany paired with selection of good wines. Definitely recommended! Thank you very much for this relaxing weekend!

The hotel is located away from any city, the place is quiet and surrounded by nature. It is a good place to enjoy peace and relax. The restaurant has a very good sortiment of traditional dishes and all are very good. The people are very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and we would like to come again soon.

The property is in beautiful surroundings, with great views. It is a very peaceful setting. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable, the shower was great. We enjoyed a fabulous meal in the restaurant. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The place has a lovely quiet atmosphere and beautiful grounds, the people were so lovely and helpful, dinner and breakfast was great and the facilities were clean and very comfortable.
