Hotel Pauw is Brilliant! A change in itinerary afforded an extra day in Nijmegen and the Hotel Pauw had availability at the front end of our reserved stay. The location is amazing - right in the cafe's and central location was very convenient for our explorations of the area, the dining, and night life of Nijmegen. The staff - each day and each shift - were so very pleasant and accommodating - from the cafe at morning coffee - to the delicious meals and fantastic beers and drinks. Breakfast was typical - which is very good - muesli, juice, croissants, incredible muffins (my son mentioned his pleasant surprise with the muffins), amazing cheese (of course, where are we), and comfortable ambiance. The room was comfortable and quiet and very clean. Shower and linens and overall room was tip top. We loved it!

The location is amazing IF you want to be on the main sqaure in the center of the city. We did enjoy the proximity and convenience to everything but it did get very noisy on Saturday night until very late in the night. If you are a good sleeper, then that will not be a problem. Light sleepers or those whose goal is to rest up might be better off in a different location. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast great. Bed very comfortable.

I loved the main hall and its colors. The music they played was extremely chill and upbeat and made my breakfast even better. My bedroom was very nice and bright, with a huge glass wall overlooking one of the main streets. It went past my expectations. Loved it and recommend.

The fan in my room was a bit noisy, so I had to choose whether to sleep with that on or with open windows, hearing noise from the main street. Not a big problem to fix anyway.

Had no idea how lucky we'd got when a cancellation meant we got to book Hotel Pauw! Such a gorgeous vibe in the perfect location with super friendly staff - we actually ended up extending our stay by an extra night because we were enjoying it so much! Can't wait to visit again, especially as we want to try the breakfast too :)

The lack of air conditioning is slightly unfortunate given the current heatwave, but the two fans provided took the worst of the heat away. Definitely wouldn't stop us staying again.

It's in the city center. A lot of cute restaurants and stores around.

Music is toooooooo loud at midnight.

The hotel is located in Nijmegen central square. The check-in was easy and friendly, the breakfast very good as well as the restaurant food. I had the lamb curry which was absolutely amazing as single dish at a very good price. The room was warm and the bed comfortable. In the bathroom was provided a basic yet very usuful amenities kit.

The hotel is located in an old facility without elevator and several starcases to climb to access the rooms. So it might be tricky for customers with heavy luggage. The rooms have not been refurbished since a long time, and you can feel especially when using the bathroom and the shower. For some misterious reason a very loud techno music started playing automatically at 5 am from the speakers of a store located in front of the hotel and it took 30 minutes to stop it.

Staff were lovely a friendly, wonderful building, breakfast was great value, & love the commitment to the peacock!

The location was excellent and the staff was very nice and polite.

The bathroom needs a little renovation.

Very nice hotel, restaurant underneath, great location. What I liked most was the greeting, a note with a peacock feather, a very nice welcome. 👍👍👍👌😁

Elevator was busy the last day with deliveries. Had to bring down my luggage down the tiny staircase
