We have stayed here about 10 times over the past twenty years of travels in France. ALWAYS 1) spotlessly clean (sheets always smell fresh) and matress quality very good 2) fabulous breakfast buffet ( breads and brioche were still hot from the baker at yesterday's breakfast - who still serves homemade brioche in France ? ) including local cheeses, CRISPY and delicious croissants and pain au chocolate ( NOT those undercooked low quality things most hotels have gone to the last few years), granola, nuts, yogurts, delicious coffees, fruit cakes - Wonderful!) 3) very thoughtful and polite staff 4) great parking 5) steps (literally) from the two main shopping streets yet very quiet. 6) Excellent value for money. Valence is a great southern town and on the main route south so this is our go to place.

Location was very convenient to us, at a walking distance from city center and restaurants. Staff very helpful. There is a garage attached to the hotel for a fee, but very convenient. We got the junior suite which was spacious and comfortable.

Hotel should manage the parking pace in front of the hotel for guest to park while checking in. As we arrived, all spots were taken. We had to leave the car on the streets with the hazard lights on to make it possible to get inside the hotel. We checked in, put our luggage inside the apartment and as we left the hotel the same cars in the parking space in front of the hotel. No international channels on TV, with news in English. Missed that.

I was pleasantly surprised to get a spacious room on the top floor - obviously updated with clean faux wood floors, huge TV, huge windows with lovely view toward the old town. The location is excellent - near the old town, and easy walk to the train station. Parc Jouvet very near, and walking trails expand from there. Museum is exquisite.

The hotel could benefit from offering a variety of evening food options. I finally discovered the very nice bistro across the street "Bancel"

Quiet room at the back of the hotel overlooking carpark and other buildings, not jammed in. Located on a leafy boulevard near many cafés and just on the exterior of the old town. A short walk from Valence Ville railway station. (Valence TGV is 18 km away). We didn't have breakfast but it was served in a bright room which opened onto a terrace with parasols. We were upgraded to a triple room as the lift was out of action

WiFi was poor.

Hotel in a good central location. The hotell is very dog friendly and there is a large park within a 5 minute walk from the hotel, perfect for dog walking. We had a room facing the main street and it was surprisingly quiet in the room with the windows closed. There are lots of restaurants and shops very close by. Parking is in an open area at the back of the hotel and it is secure. It is suitable for large cars and cars with roof boxes.

Unfourtunatly when we arrived the elevator was not working. The staff did put us in a room on as low a floor as possible and helped us with our luggage.

Car parking

Noisy plumbing , towel rail heater non functioning, poor air conditioning and no instructions as to how to use it, stupidly expensive continental breakfast at E20 per head. I hated this business if taking E100 Euros as a deposit in case you as the guest damaged anything in the room . Sorry, not on!

Centre of town - with a large parking area. Quite happy to pay as it felt very secure. The hotel was clean and quite modern in style. We only had the express breakfast but that was quite enough to set us up for our departure. The room was very clean and had everything necessary. Staff very helpful, and polite.

All was good - although only one elevator which slowed things down if having to transport large suitcases up to the room. That's all though

I could not take a breakfast but the hotel offered me an expresso to wake me up for the road waiting for me! The parking entrance is tight but it is large enough to accommodate all the cars. I had a very quiet room. The restaurant on the other side of the road does not look great (not bad either) but the cook is very good!!!!

The room was a bit small

This hotel has been our midway stop from Barcelona to Switzerland for more than ten years. The staff has always been amiable, attentive, and accepting of our canine daughter :) We usually book the junior suite which is spacious and with nice amenities. We will keep coming back!

Not much! If I'm being nitpicky, it would be nice to have dish soap to clean dishes and maybe wine glasses ;) Breakfast is always great but maybe could be stocked a tad better for us latecomers.

Location near the centre of town. Parking secure. Lovely suite. Breakfast included and substantial.

The safe in the room didnt work, mentioned it to staff but nothing sorted. Coffee making facilities poor Mini bar with nothing in apart from a small bottle of water....could have done more.
