we arrived in rain and later than expected, good communication where key would be left for us to get in, we were only here for the night, but good base for what we wanted we were not having breakfast, but looked lovely as we were checking out.

We had the room was next to stairs so potentially could get unlucky with guest who come and go a lot as was very noticeable hearing people come and go. Lucky while we was there we only had twice. Knowing this though may mean you ask for a different room.

We were able to walk to the property from the train station. The directions were very clear & the key was in a lock box because we arrived early. The room and bathroom were spacious. The breakfast was delicious. There is a beautiful outdoor terrace, with comfortable furniture. The apartment is in an excellent location for wandering the streets of the old town with plenty of choices of cafes. The BnB is on street level but there are a few stairs to the first level. This wasn’t a problem for us. The staff were very friendly.

Very nice and clean room and perfect location. Very nice with the selfservice opportunity in the common aera with a nice terrace. 😍🤗 Nice to meet and talk to the other guest in this smal and cozy hotel....😘 The aircondition was perfect, and we needed it in 34 °C 😅 Close to everything, even the the 30 minutes drive to the beautiful beach Viareggio . 2 beautiful nights in Lucca with fantastic restaurants. We will definateley come back to L'Iris B/B .

We struggeled a bit to find the parkingplace, but that was only because of work in some part of the streets.

The location was perfect for discovering this beautiful city. It was within the city walls, so right in the middle of the old center and even so, from the Lucca train station (direct from Pisa), one can take a bus right to the B&B. Location is 5 minutes walk to the shopping street and everything in Lucca is close. Also 5 minutes walk to the path up to the city wall. Bicycles for riding through the town and the beautiful broad path on the city wall are also right there. Perfectly clean, very large comfortable room and lovely rooftop breakfast, helpful host and hostess. I will definitely stay there on my next visit!

Very clean and comfortable. The terrace was a welcome spot for relaxing. The location was perfect for sightseeing and getting to the railway station. The room was big and the bathroom lovely. It was generally very quiet. There was a good selection for breakfast.

The americano coffee was awful. The climb up the stairs with heavy luggage was tricky.

Breakfast , A selection of yogurts, cold meat, cheese and there was plenty of bread and pastries. The location was excellent. Near the main thoroughfare and not far from the wall or train station. .

There could have been a bit more fresh fruit. The kiwis were not usually ripe. Also the meat/ cheese plate didn’t seem to be replenished and if you were last for breakfast, there often wasn’t much left. Although, plenty of pastries and cakes.

Lucca is a very pretty and cute centre, it’s close to a lot of points of interest, a city of many talents and history. The stay was comfortable and had little details that were very appreciated when travelling

The Friday night was annoying as people came in and were loud and laughing and making a lot of noise … after 11pm , finally they left at midnight. I had to go and ask them to stop, I don’t think it was a guest. So it was very frustrating, trying to get to sleep.

Situated right in the center, it offers unbeatable convenience for exploring the city, yet it’s incredibly quiet—perfect for a restful night's sleep. The accommodation feels brand new with modern, stylish furnishings and impeccable cleanliness. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the check-in process smooth and offering great local tips. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a prime location with a tranquil ambiance!

This small hotel is great… modern, comfortable and super clean. Location is great to walk everywhere within the city walls. They have 2 locations very close to each other…make sure you go to the TERRAZZA one. If you are driving please contact the hotel so they can give you specifics as to where to go. Also, and most importantly, give the hotel your license plate so they can add the number to the police database so you won’t get ticketed. They offer parking for an additional $18 p/day. I would highly recommend!!

Property was in a perfect location right by one of the entrances into Lucca Cute room very clean lovely staff Bathroom had small samples shower gel etc which is great when only travelling with hand luggage

There was water wasn’t replenished every day not a problem as can buy it but needed more tea/coffee/milk/sugar Beds very creaky
