I was worried because of the reviews I'd read, and almost canceled my reservation. I was so relieved to find the hotel in a great part of town, surrounded by stores and eating places. It was close to both Biscayne and Everglades and the turnpike. The rooms were excellent and clean, the pool was open (but cold), the beds soft. The bathrooms were clean. I was worried because of the reviews, but found everything excellent. The staff was friendly and responsive to my questions. There is no elevator, so we did have to haul our luggage upstairs, but that was the only surprise I had. Everything else exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was delicious! Eggs, potatoes, sausage, yogurt, bagels, muffins, juices, coffee, toast, danish - all served with a smile! This hotel deserves a great rating!

It was comfortable and quiet inconvenient to shopping and restaurants. The property was secure and very well lit I feel safe here and I have stayed here on four separate occasions and I have a son with a disability this time I was at ease and it was very comfortable no one really bothered us. Nor did they make him feel uncomfortable and not sure if he made anyone feel uncomfortable but I hope not.

The pool was not open and the door cards we had to keep going to get them activated because they would not stay activated that problem needs to be resolved immediately.

Came up for race weekend. Our first visit to this hotel. . In hindsight, I'm glad I booked it further out from the track due to fire issues in the area. The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The shower was hot. Breakfast was served, but we didn't partake. Hotel close to a number of eating establishments. It wasn't a bad distance to the track either.

Parking was an issue. Not enough spaces at the rooms. Had to park at the front of the hotel entrance every night. Shower handle was awkward to turn on. Pool was closed for some reason.

I loved how the property was always clean. You would always see someone cleaning rooms or the outside area of the hotel. I also liked how everyday we got fresh towels and the room smelled fresh whenever I would walk back in after they cleaned. I liked the free breakfast as a lot of other hotels don't offer free breakfast. It was easy to get someone to help if you had issues with your room.

I didn't like how big the windows were as they practically took up a whole wall. They were so thin I could hear people walking by, talking, etc. Some nights if people were outside playing music by the pool I'd hear it too and it would be hard to sleep. Hopefully they will invest in making these windows an actual wall so people can feel some sort of comfort and security in their room. I also didn't like the cleanliness of the pool, I think that was probably the only "dirty" thing I've experienced in the hotel. Also, they have a little kids playground but I saw stains on the slide of what looks like either blood or red paint... O.O

It is a very nice hotel. We called to ask about the gym. What we were told was not what was there. We asked for help and the main desk was very rude. We waited 30 minutes before someone showed up. And that person didn't know how to work the machine. The hotel was to give us a discount. But I still haven't seen it on my charge card. My deposit doesn't show either. Sad, I enjoy getting away very often and never had a problem. Booking also never credited me back.

The breakfast was a surprise and was great! Some hot items as well as continental items. Staff was friendly. Food staff served the hot food. Room was on the second floor without an elevator. Hotel location seemed downtown and was a little tricky to reach but was very quiet. Parking was convenient to room. The lobby and drive up was better than expected for the location.

The wifi was great in the lobby. I was a distance from the lobby and had no service . The pool was not in service but was nice looking.

Room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. There was a coffee machine, microwave and fridge. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. Parking was easy. For a stopover after arriving at Miami airport on our way to the Keys it was perfect. Would definitely stay again another time.

The aircon unit was very loud but we didn’t need it on overnight in October. The water wasn’t hot in the shower but maybe I didn’t let it run long enough.

This hotel is great. It is a bit dated but they are renovating some rooms. The grounds are nice with the pool in the courtyard in the middle. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are roomy. Location is great with multiple restaurants within walking distance. They serve a continental breakfast mon thru Fri. Hot breakfast on weekends. Beds very comfy.

Can be noisy as it is on a main drag. Shower is good but not quite as tall as I like. I am 5'9. Not a deal breaker though. No hair dryer..this isn't necessarily bad but first time I've seen a hotel without. Their computer for guest use was extremely slow. I was trying to print my boarding passes for the next day. I'm guessing they were using an old operating system that had not been updated. An extremely minor inconvenience though. 😀

I've stayed here many times over the years. The staff is absolutely wonderful, friendly, and attentive. The breakfast is fantastic. Lots of variety The rooms were remodeled. My only issue is the same tv, no smart tv to watch your apps. The air-conditioning is weak. Rooms Still kinda has that old hotel smell. I stay because of location, and price, and #Staff!

Good price. Location is nice as well, it’s far from Miami though. Good point to rest towards the Keys. Several outlets around. Possible to go shopping even with no car.

A bit far from Miami but it’s not surprise. I would stay again as long as the price is that good. Breakfast is good on weekend and not bad in working days. Good hotel.
