Susie & Mike were outstanding hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly and happy to chat like family. The 4 poster room we had was spectacular. An eclectic mix of the tastes could be seen throughout the house, there was something to look at in every angle. Colour coordinated decor with matching ornaments/heirlooms and historical photographs. The whole house tells a story of a life of a couple who have lived life to the full and their family. The breakfast was fabulous, although a little too floral for me, the taste was delicious. Susie & Mike are wonderful.

Although I booked and travelled alone, I met other family members at the Farmhouse as we were attending wedding celebrations nearby. We enjoyed lovely, generous breakfasts together and the attractive gardens were peaceful between our family events. I liked the beautiful, hideaway location with views over farmland and hope to return.

Access -Some people might find the drive along the long narrow private road a challenge.

Delicious breakfast - Hosts were very friendly both to ourselves and any family we brought back. Gardens beautiful and lovely to be able to sit out or walk around. Very quiet considering its location - thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Cant think of anything that could have been better or that we didn't like.

Friendly & personalised service Lovey location Beautiful historic building and extensive very well kept gardens Close to Hurstpierpoint where my son lives

A bit pricey but I had to book a double room as a single person as Hickstead meant everywhere was booked! Had to share a bathroom ( though in reality this didn't cause any issues) No locks on the rooms' doors - again actually wasn't an issue during my stay - but I guess it could be

A charming old farmhouse with multiple room options. The owners were incredibly attentive. A full English breakfast + juice/coffee/tea and fruit salad. This Sussex farmhouse was exactly what we were looking for! Also gave a great recommendation for Morleys on the high street (try the duck)

I loved my stay with Susie and Mike. They were both so welcoming, especially staying alone they made such great company. The most beautiful garden and area to walk around along the countryside and into the village. Breakfast was absolutely beautiful, I felt so special being served the most delicious food.

We stayed in the four poster room which was beautifully furnished and spacious with views over the gardens and fields. In the morning Suzzi cooked a delicious breakfast which we took in the garden dinning room. The farmhouse was full of English charm and history throughout - a luxurious and relaxing place to stay in a fabulous rural location.

Beautiful house, beautiful eclectic decor. Lux-cottage yet homely. The rooms glowed with cosiness. Warm, comfortable, ultra-quiet room, I felt cocooned and safe. Host greeted well and booked me a restaurant, as I was late and hungry! Gorgeous breakfast room and excellent breakfast. Attention to detail.

Hosts were too busy to be very friendly in the morning.....but they had much to do.

Great location near Hurstpierpoint. Charming and very helpful hosts. On our arrival, we were very touched to see an Australian flag flying - a lovely gesture. Room was comfortable and provided all we needed for an overnight stay. We enjoyed a superb breakfast served in the garden room.

Gorgeous location and setting, extensive gardens and places to sit. Lovely countryside views, so peaceful. Roomy bedroom, soft comfortable beds, with en-suite. All the wee touches were lovely, water in room, tea and coffee making facilities, very clean.

Nothing. Loved it all
