Beautifully designed with gorgeous attention to detail. The bed was so comfortable & felt luxury. The weather wasn’t great while we were visiting so having a wonderful restaurant & good vibes was very welcome during those rainy days. will definitely be back x

It wasn’t the hotels fault as the beach had suffered extreme storm damage during low season so there was a lot of washed up rubbish nearby. They were very good though & cleaned the area outside the hotel regularly.

On the beach, good facilities, nice restaurant with choice of menus for breakfast, lovely staff who can’t do enough for you. Rooms - bungalow - a decent size with good hot shower. Great access to fresh chilled water all day in small metal drinking flasks provided by the property.

The description ‘bungalow’ is little misleading as tiú have a bedroom and bathroom no bigger than any other accommodation we’ve had in hotels and resorts during our stay. Bungalows are finished in polished concrete and so are dark grey inside and out … helps to keep everything cool…. but makes the interior a little dark. Each bungalow has a good full length sliding door but a translucent privacy curtain would mean natural light could be let in and electricity saved.

Supernice hotel, loved it all! The staff, room, and food were excellent, and the hotel's area was elegant and well-maintained. God pressure in the shower (which is extra essential to get out the shampoo from my afro hair :D). The room smelled magnificent. The bed is 10/10, so comfy! Here is Trash Hero's thermos in the room, which you can refill at the restaurant. This is a great environmental choice to avoid plastic bottles, and it also keeps the water cold at the beach or by the pool. I stayed in a bungalow at the beach. Warmest recommendations from me!

Really lovely place to relax in Koh Lanta. It's out of the way of the busier areas. The rooms are really nicely fitted and well equipped with comfy beds. The interior is all finished with polished concrete, which gives them a unique and classy look. The staff here are super nice. We got our laundry done which was completed in a short space of time and good value. You can have a massage on the beach. Food is really excellent - highly recommend the Thai Green Curry and the Massaman. Good cocktails and other options available at the bar. Located right on the beach and you can walk to adjacent bars with great ease.

There aren't really too many negatives about this place to be honest - we loved it and would definitely go back. The only negative for us was the limited breakfast options for vegans. Some other hotels on our trip went to a little bit of effort for us (e.g. making up some scrambled tofu and getting vegan sausages in). This wouldn't stop us visiting again though.

The Lazy Lodge, as the name says, is a place to relax and be lazy in front of the beach. The bungalows are very beautiful, every detail is curated, very clean and spacious. Breakfast is included, and it's amazing, high-quality food and a more than reasonable amount. The beach is all organised with pillows and beds in front of the sea, bear in mind there are many big rocks in front of the resort however you can swim further and enjoy a nice peaceful swimming or you can walk 5 minutes and find a spot without many rocks. The food of the restaurant is also very nice, sometimes we had dinner in the resort and sometimes we tried different restaurants and bars along the beach. As mentioned in other reviews, sometimes the bars on the beach have parties, and you can hear some loud music in the bungalows, but it doesn't bother us at all. First, our bungalow was garden view, so we couldn't hear anything once the doors were closed. Second, we enjoyed the music, and third, they also provided earplugs in the room, so they were very prepared. Bungalows have air-conditioning as well. Staff is incredible, and everyone is extremely smiley and helpful. We really enjoyed every moment of our stay. The sunset from this place was spectacular. Thank you for everything, I hope to be back soon.

Nothing. The pool is under construction, so we couldn't use it but didn't bother us at all. We love the sea.

I loved the bungalows. We were here for 6 nights so had a bit of down time , the rooms are so spacious & comfortable. The dining is on the waterfront so you get the beautiful breezes. The staff are so lovely & sweet. The cooking was so good. The green curry was the best. The meals are so generous we shared.

The only negative was the beach at low tide is very rocky so swimming is really not possible . But there is the pool & a little walk up the beach you can swim.

This place was fabulous! The people were so friendly and welcoming. The food was so good. The villa was spotlessly clean, modern and had everything you need. I spent many hours relaxing in the hammock on the covered veranda. I loved the free refillable water. Each villa is given 2 reusable water bottles & there is a cold drinking water dispenser by reception to refill whenever you need. Such a great idea and way to reduce plastics. It was quiet and a great place to watch the sunset. We hired a moped from the lodge and so didn’t even have to go and get one. I loved the massages right next to the beach. Relaxing in the cool breeze, whilst listening to the ocean waves and being massaged…bliss! So glad this is where we spent the longest stay of our holiday!

I loved everything about The Lazy Lodge & as a place to stay I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The only down side for me was the state of the beach. Right outside the Lazy Lodge is was clean as they keep it clean, but many of the properties were shut for low season and so no one was cleaning up their area of the beach. It was such a shame and not so nice to walk along. That said, it didn’t impact our stay that much at all as the Lazy Lodge has sun loungers right next to the beach as well as by the new pool.

We loved everything about Lazy Lodge, so much so that we stayed there twice! We rebooked it for the last couple of nights of our holiday because we wanted to end our trip in a place with AMAZING staff, comfy beds, incredible food and a lovely chilled atmosphere. We visited in 'green season' and so the beach is quiet. However, this suited us completely as there was still enough places to hangout in the surrounding area if you wanted. I also really want to recommend the Koh Lanta Massage ladies, they offer massage services at the lodge and they are fabulous.

As previously mentioned by other reviewers, the beach is littered with plastic bottles etc. However Lazy Lodge cleans their part of the beach daily and does their best to keep the environmental impact to a minimum.

we loved absolutely everything about this place. the bungalows were incredible, modern chic, spacious and just by the beach. the staff were faultless - we couldn’t have asked for anymore from them in terms of hospitality. the food and drinks were some of the best we’ve had in Thailand. the resort had thought of everything - water bottles for you to refill, towels for beach and bath, tours, transfers - there was just nothing that wasn’t thought of. im surprised about the breakfast rating - not sure what you can complain about - waiter service - plenty of options. we read comments about noise but it really wasn’t an issue - some nights there was some noise but not every night and nothing that would keep you up. we can honestly say having stayed in many many 5* resorts - this is 5 stars and more. it’s quiet, it’s small but it’s perfect and every guest is treated like family. I’m not sure we’ll ever find a place like it.
