We stayed here for 4 nights during winter time. We arrived in the late afternoon, the reception was already closed but we easily received the key by calling a nearby hotel and by asking for the code for the key box. The location is good, near the centre (walking distance). The rooms were very clean. We chose the maisonette room which was quite big and comfortable, which a separate sleeping area divided by stairs (no doors in between). It was on the 2nd floor and very quiet and calm! We enjoyed the daily breakfast, which was abundant. The staff was very friendly.

One thing that would improve the hotel even more, would be a possibility to charge an electric car (especially because both charging stations in the city centre were out of order). We did try to use the socket outside but it had no power.

Access to the hotel on arrival was very troublesome. Other guests arriving at the same time faced the same problems. A personal code should be entered via a keyboard. But the description posted at the door did not match the actual keyboard - some of the keys were not marked (the original markings were worn off). The notice at the door mentioned that in case of trouble you could call the reception in another hotel part of the same group. But the phone number was not answered.

I am reviewing the maisonette room. Beautiful, central location, fabulous view from the bedroom in the maisonette. I also loved the stairs up to the bedroom and the thoughtful concept of lighting on the stairs. But these rooms are not for people who can't manage steep stairs. Helpful staff at the oppulent and varied and locally-sourced breakfast buffet.

The downstairs room could have done with a little less or a little less heavy furniture.

Great location directly beneath the Schlosskirche and near the market place. The hotel’s premises are beautiful. You can sit at a table in the quiet yard between flower beds. Good breakfast table with home made jam

Hiden gem. Location is perfect betwen castle and old city center. Well managed enterprice. Beautiful garden in front of the entrance. Very helpfull staff assist you through the stay. Very clean room and wc. Good parking lot. Excellent breakfast and personal attention in breafast room. Good night sleep in quiet environment. Will be happy to return in future.

Good location near Altstadt (less than 10 minutes walking). The rooms were simple, but we didn't really miss anything. Also, spacious and clean. Parking on-site.

No amenities (coffee, fridge etc) in the room. No elevator.

Needing to call to get key would have been easier if they had an English translation for instructions.

Big rooms, absolutely clean, quiet. The location is perfect - very close to the centre and the castle. The parking is very convenient.

The Internet connection could be better, but still not bad at all.

After good night of sleep coffee could be stronger but in general great stay!

The door was locked when we arrived around 6 pm. It took sometime to discover that one had to phone for instructions as to how to get in. We had to punch in a code whereupon a key was delivered. This enabled us to get in and open our room without meeting a real person. It would have been helpful to be forewarned about how to get in.
