We chose this site for hotel reputation, location, and pet friendliness. All of our expectations were met in these regards. With respect to location, we were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant options in the very immediate area. We could not have been happier. Free parking was safe. The complementary made-to-order breakfast was excellent We plan to return. We didn't take advantage of the on-site bar offering.

Minor item was the main lobby was on the second floor, but not a huge deal. The room was a little smaller than we expected, but it was nicely appointed and trendy.

The ALoft Hotel (as in "A Loft") is in an absolutely fantastic, ritzy suburban location. The numerous upscale mall-type stores nearby make a great morning walk or shopping experience. There are TWO excellent sushi restaurants, one being right next door. Our room was quite spacious, in a modern minimalist style, so space allocation is a bit weird, but still very functional. The steamy shower and huge, clean bed were fantastic. The very readable and simple thermostat worked exceptionally well. The view was really nice, overlooking a small park, with two tall windows that could be shut completely. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Staff members were easy to contact, but stayed out of the way. The breakfasts are a bit Spartan and "to go" (some nice places to sit down if you want), but there are lots of healthy options, and the cooked-to-order breakfast sandwiches are quite good. There are a few quality breakfast options nearby, but many more options for lunch and dinner. The free parking garage is convenient and close by.

I liked the "modern" design, but it's a bit challenging. The clothes closet is small, shallow and strange, and many people will not figure out how it works (you pull the curtain aside and the outer rail becomes a nice long rack). People need to bring hangers or ask for more (the staff are very accommodating if you need anything). The rooms are short on takable amenities (hooray!), but the shower has excellent dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and body wash which have a fantastic aroma. There are no folding stands for luggage - use the mod long sofa or bed instead. Housekeeping is every other day, unless you ask for more. The AC is noisy but super-fast and works like crazy. The AC controls are disconnected - use the thermostat. Bottom line - the place is a bit different, but good.

Loved the location. Lots of restaurant options within easy walking distance. Parking was in a public lot nearby. The bed was comfy and clean. The lobby had a bar area, a pool table and a sitting area. Very relaxing after a long day.

Street parking is very crowded and finding the vehicle entrance to the parking garage (around the next block) is tricky - but once you have parked it is a close and easy walk to the building front door. The lobby is on the second floor with elevator or stair access. Really, not a problem at all - just helpful to know when you arrive on a busy night. There is also valet parking and a pull through carport for unloading/loading.

They say they have breakfast. You get a minimal amount of choices, and it’s made for you. It cost $12.00 a person. I could have gone to McDonalds and got the same McMuffin for way cheaper. My husband went down to get a coke. They don’t take cash. They bill your room. When we checked out, that coke was billed $20.00. We had an additional $84.00 on our charges and we didn’t use anything. Clerk couldn’t explain the extras. High way robbery.

perfect location to so many things!

That my credit card was charged even though I had already paid for the room on booking.com and told the gentlemen who had checked me in when he asked for my card that I had already paid for the room and he still ran it. It made my account go negative for the remaining of my trip I didn't have access to any money until it was reimbursed the day I was boarding the plane. Otherwise, the hotel was excellent.

We’ve stayed at a loft several times over the Thanksgiving weekend and this was the best stay ever. Our room was overlooking the beautiful ice rink and Christmas lit area in front of the hotel. It was very magical. Thank you!

Excellent location, nicely decorated, wonderful sushi place just downstairs and a cute cafe across the street. Pretty sunrise from the top floor. Staff was friendly and helpful

Not very clean. We stepped out of the elevator and there was a used q-tip on the ground. Bed spread had a strain

I loved the view the location provided. The staff and mood of the building were quite nice.

I wish there had been a microwave in our room. The parking was also confusing, but we figured it out.

met our expectations for the one night stay

very hard to find the entrance that sounds ridiculous but this is a fact the entrance is not marked well and the property is located between two restaurant and bars that have valet parking right where the parking for check in is located. that is very awkward with valet parking competing with hotel arrivals not convenient and no one from the hotel is too concerned about this if you call for assistance there is no assistance. the front desk staff appeared unhappy to be on hand perhaps they were short handed and stressed it certainly seemed that way. actually this was almost a self service experience just picked up keys that was it.
