Clean, room was easy to access. Bed was comfortable.

The lobby/ check-in/ and eating areas were smaller than other Drury Inns I've been to. There was one employee working at the front desk, long line. The front desk also doubled as the shop/ purchase booth. It took a while to get checked in. Glad I wasn't with my wife and kids. The room was okay, but it the a/c was pretty loud, and the toilet ran/ made a loud noise while it was flushing. There was also a slight hint of cigarette smoke, even though the rooms are all non-smoking. Obviously at some point the room has been smoked in. The hotel was also pretty hard to get to from I-65 (I was coming down from Nashville, following Google maps).

The location was awesome, the room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious.

There was only one person at the front desk for checking in. There were 2 people in line in front of us. The first checked in quickly - your usual 1 minute process. The second, however, made an error when booking, mixing up his dates - this was a lengthy check-in process (about 10-15 minutes) and no other front desk employee showed up to speed up the process for the other people waiting in line to be checked in. There should be a protocol in place where a second employee stepped in to check in the other people waiting in line, when scenarios like this occur.

The parking, the fact that the hotel is off a main road, the pool & jacuzzi, the free nightly "kick back" with food & 3 free drinks & the free breakfast in the morning. Every staff member we saw spoke to us & were friendly! Anytime I need to go to Birmingham for an overnight stay I will seek out the Drury Inn again!

The air in our King Suite room didn't work well; when we checked in it was 75 in the room & the lowest the thermostat would go is 66 which we set it on, but sadly it never got lower than 71 in the room; we called the front desk & they offered to move us, which we declined as we'd already gotten settled in, but they did bring us a nice fan! So I take a star off for the fact that in summer/warmer weather this is going to be a true issue if a room stays HOT & 3 adults this room was perfect except for the warmth factor!

I stayed here for a business trip. Although my meetings were at a different hotel it was in walking distance to my business meetings but I did not walk there, but it was an easy drive. This hotel was beautiful the staff was very friendly. They had a great free full breakfast every morning. In the evening's you got a free drink every night with snacks and were able to socialize with the other guests. My room was just the right size. I had two queen beds. A co-worker was supposed to be with me but she was sick and was not able to go. The room was extremely clean. It's one of the cleanest places I can say that I've ever stayed at. I would definitely highly recommend this hotel if you're going to be in that area. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was nice, and the water pressure was amazing.

The dinner was an extra meal they offered along with breakfast. It was great, the BBQ sliders are delicious! I was very surprised by how smoky and moist they were. The Mac and cheese reminded me of Panera Bread and was also delicious. Everyone was so kind and helpful. It was very clean. The pool and hot tub were half indoors which was great with it being cold out. You could swim in the warm room. The water will be the outside temperature due to half the pool being outside.

The breakfast was not as great as the dinner and snacks. It wasn't awful, just a regular hotel breakfast. Eat downstairs so the food doesn't get cold. It will make the food worse if eating it cold. The location is bumper to bumper traffic, make sure you leave earlier than planned to get anywhere scheduled. It took 35 minutes to get to UAB/ children's hospital. The time frame does change. Best to check with Google maps an hour or so before you leave to know how backed up traffic is. The plumbing might wake you at night. It did us around 3am, kinda scary the way it sounded. The hot tub really needed a good cleaning.

ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful from sending a fax for me and recovering a book my husband left. The layout of the dining area was cozy and comfortable with several small areas so you never felt like you were in a big cafeteria. Breakfast was good and in the evenings they have what they call Kickstart. It was a meal with complimentary drinks. We had Pulled pork sliders, mac-n-cheese, coleslaw, salad, nachos, gumbo soup, and hotdogs available. The hot tub was lovely, nice and hot. The room was very comfortable, the location was close to many restaurants and The Summit. I highly recommend this place.

The "only" thing I could even think of would be the internet does not have a password so it would not be secure but not a problem for me.

I really liked how clean the place was. It feels very comfortable. The breakfast lady was super friendly saying Hello to everyone when they came out. The hotel smelled clean. I really like the free meals they have (above any free meals at any hotel I've been at). I felt safe. It's a comfortable room set up and my room had a pretty view.

I arrived pretty late after 10pm and door was locked and no one available to let me in for a lil bit but she was very friendly when she did despite me having the phone ring for a long time.

This was absolutely one of the best days we’ve ever had at a hotel! From cleanliness to staff friendliness and accommodations (including wonderful, complimentary food), everything was excellent! It was a perfect location for us as well. We were in town for a doctors appointment and when we woke up the next morning, I had lost our car keys. The staff assisted with locking our luggage in a room until after our doctors appointment, then proceeded to assist us with obtaining a locksmith to open our car where we found the keys. We could not have asked for a more kind group of people to keep us from getting stressed out while far from home!

There was nothing we didn’t like!

The staff, from the reception desk to the room cleaners, were the friendliest, nicest people I’ve ever come across in a hotel. Hotel was beautifully laid out and gave a nice view of the lobby from the elevator when un motion. Loved the big, round shower head. Perfect. Two elevators served different parts of the upper floors and that was nice. Cut down on the long walk to the end of the wing rooms. Nice touch. Have always appreciated the freebie light dinner setting. Saved me having to go hunt down a restaurant.

The breakfast was flawed. The No-name peanut butter provided was a cheap and poor quality provision. Stick with Jif. Can’t go wrong. Did have nice bananas. The potatoes were cold and near inedible. Nice selection of cereals. The English Muffins and poor bagels were bargain basement rejects. For the cost of a room in the Drury Inn the somewhat cheap provision in the breakfast buffet are a bad treatment.
