Beautiful building and very comfortable room. They even upgraded us for free which was a lovely surprise.

There are small improvements that they could easily make to make this stay go from very good to exceptional for example including a kettle and some herbal teas in the rum rather than just coffee. Not everyone drinks coffee! Serving breakfast in the main dining room would also be a much better experience. The breakfast room was a bit of a zoo as it simply not big enough to accommodate that many people. There was no room for us to sit and it felt a little mass market for the price we were paying.

We had an awesome week at L'hôtel du Couvent, staying in one of the Chambre Double Supérieure avec Terrasse rooms. The place is super calm, which was perfect for relaxing. The pool is amazing, and we really enjoyed chilling there. Restaurant: The food was delicious every time, breakfast was great too—lots of tasty options to start the day. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to add some nuts to the breakfast spread. That would make it even better! I had to do some work while we were there, and the wifi was solid enough to get things done without any hassle. The room was always clean, and they regularly changed the towels, which was nice. The staff and owners were really friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed.

The only tiny thing I'd suggest is maybe speeding up the service in the restaurant. The food is fantastic, but the wait can be a bit long. But honestly, that's a minor issue, and it definitely doesn't take away from the 5-star rating I’m giving them. We loved our stay and would totally recommend it!

The owner Jean Paul was so friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and it has the most stunning swimming pool with a children’s shallow pool attached. We only stayed one night as we’re using it as a stopover. Dinner with delicious but no children’s menu and was a long dining experience so better to eat out if you have kids. Breakfast was fantastic, a good choice of hot and cold food.

Everything about this stay was amazing! The location, the architecture, the pool, the restaurant, the staff, the breakfast, the lunch at the pool area, the relaxing vibe... I could continue. This is a hidden gem, and I would def go back again. We actually extended our stay with 3 additional nights because it was that amazing.

Amazing hotel - a historic building that has very tastefully been renovated - only recently so everything’s perfect. V picturesque building. Gorgeous infinity pool and pool area. Great breakfast. Lovely evening meal in the courtyard. Super comfy beds. Welcoming host. We loved it. A real escape and FANTASTIC value for money.

Everything about this place is simply exceptional! Staff, building, rooms, food, location. All are exemplary The price for the evening meal was rather high, but the quality is unquestionable, and dining outdoors in the courtyard was wonderful.

We appreciated having a room with an external terrace but disappointed that the room was in a ‘new’ annex which meant it had none of the features or character from the original building.

Very welcoming staff who tried to accommodate our special requests, great design throughout, gowns and slippers, warm room, comfortable bed, great view.

Breakfast could be a bit more interesting if included some local foods (chestnut-based?) and nespresso coffee
