Room was teeny bit bigger than the usual Japanese standards (which are very small). There is some floor space but the dehumidifier was kind of in the way. I’m 152cm so it’s perfect for my size Breakfast buffet had plenty of choices – I love the grilled fishes and tempura, warabi mochi for dessert and the soy bread. Facilities were great – there’s a microwave and ice machine, with a lounge equipped with drinks station. Plenty of parking. I liked the mini sofa & table in the room, which I used for working and video conferencing. Loved the washing machine as well. It came with detergent so you don’t need to bring or buy any. Smelled good too.

Because of its size, it attracts large tour groups from a certain country that are really rowdy. Not really their fault though.

New hotel , perfect cleanliness, air cooling works quietly and correctly, comfortable bed and good pillow and very polite staff . Wonderful onsen . Free parking which is rare for Japan. I wish this hotel success and prosperity, and I wish the creators of this wonderful hotel good luck in your future projects

stayed here overnight driving from Nara to Koyasa. Tenri is about half an hour south of Nara and it was easy to each by car. I don't know how useful the location is if you are using public transport. The staff did not speeak any English but they were very kind and helpful. I was given a free ice-cream when I arrived! My room was very big (for Japanese standards) and very comfortable, apart from the bed, which was very hard and it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The onsen has both an inside and an outside onsen and was very relaxing. The breakfast was excellent - a wide choice of Japanese and Western dishes, as -well as freshly cooked tempura and egg rolls, available from 7-9am. My room was noisy - there was an air vent on the wall that connected a downstairs room to mine and I could hear everything. I was able to close this and the sound was much quieter, but there were many fans and machine whirrings going all night long. I turned off all the fans in my room and bathroom, but I could hear the ones in the next door rooms. Overall, the hotel was great, especially the onsen and breakfast, and if you are a heavy sleeper then there would be no issues, but if you are a light sleeper and sensitive to light and noise, I would look for somewhere else (there were no blackout curtains and a lot of light came in from the side of them as well).

This was one of most comfortable hotels in Japan we stayed in. The onsen facilities were amazing, free beers welcomed anytime. breakfast options were plentiful.
