The view from our room was one of the best ever, of the Mississippi River and the huge, many barges going past and negotiating the bridge over the Mississippi, skillful and spell binding. Totally worth it. Recommend for this reason alone, sensational.

being sent away from reception rather rudely at 3.15pm as no check is allowed, even if you were not expecting to go to a room, but just wait or go for a walk. Unfortunately the nice lady at 4pm had to deal with a group needing 6 rooms, which took forever and a long queue ensued of people who had been refused check in earlier. She was very efficient though once she got the large group sorted.

Totally appreciated that it was attached to a casino! 😁 Room was incredibly spacious. And I was so glad the fridge was big and had a freezer compartment.

It was quite dated. The toilet seat kept coming off the track. The walls around the shower entrance showed signs of rust and wear. Most importantly, it didn’t look like the occupancy was high, yet we were booked side-by-side in rooms. I was in a room with an adjoining door with virtually NO insulation or noise control. I could clearly hear the entire conversations of the guests in that room. Most annoying when I was trying to get to sleep.

We had such a GREAT time at the Waterview Casino/Hotel. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We got free play money with a new players club card and actually did pretty good at the Casino. A Suite was available and it was so nice to relax on our balcony and watch the tug boats go by the Mississippi River toward the bridges. Now for the food at the restaurant. If you download any coupon from the kiosk they expire within 24 hours so be sure to use them quickly. Food was not exactly the greatest but it sufficed. All and all we had a WONDERFUL time here and we suggest to anyone, stay and play, you won't be disappointed.

Staff very professional and nice when checking in. Call from Ms Patricia inquiring about arrival time was very helpful.. Cleanest rooms I have seen in a very long time, accommodated my special requests completely. Casino staff very professional also. Will definitely stay again when traveling through the area. Check out very easy and quick.

The Sandbar Cafe was not the best. Long wait time for food and then ran out of food but had been charged and paid for. Didn't know until your food was brought to you and checked. I was offered something else but would have had to wait for it. So I accepted a slice of cake that I really didn't want just to make up for the non refunded charges...$4 for a slice of cake is a bit much...Next time maybe they will have everything on the menu or at least let the cashiers know when something is out so customers will not order and pay for it and not know they are out until you pick your food up. The food I did receive was about a 7/10...

We chose this spot as our overnight stop between Georgia and Texas. We were a bit early for check-in; however, they were accommodating and were able to get us in our room a few minutes early. I had booked a King bed with a river view. The balcony was so nice and peaceful. The room was huge, clean, and even had a jacuzzi. Our room was near the elevator and also near the casino entrance. Every employee we met was helpful and pleasant. We plan on making this our next Vicksburg stay!

The toilet paper was a bit rough.

The hotel was very clean and very nicely located right on the Mississippi River. It is well worth getting a hotel room with a view of the beautiful and large bend in the river.

I arrived late in the evening, however, and was not greeted warmly by the staff. In fact it looked like a burden that I had arrived. Perhaps it was the late hour (approximately 11pm), but it was not a strong welcome. The walls of the hotel are also thin. I could all too well hear the activities of my neighbor early in the morning upon their return to their room at about 2am.

We had an awesome experience at WaterView! Kim at the front desk was so sweet and funny too. Our room was way better than expected. Great river view and a Jacuzzi that was perfect. All of the staff were friendly from the janitor to the casino personnel. The only upgrade needed would be better coffee at the casino. Overall I just cant say enough good things about this place.

From check-in to my departure I found the staff very friendly, yet professional and efficient. As an experienced manager, I noticed the staff's attention to detail. Room was very large and comfortable. I really appreciated a first floor room, which I asked for if no elevator. There was an elevator but the first floor was so convenient. I liked the way the bathroom door(s) worked which kept it private but easy to access. I worried about getting a parking space close by, while the parking lot was huge and I found a space relatively close, but the best was the full lighting every way, so I felt very safe even when I was a bit further than I had hoped for...prefer being in the first two rows from the front door.

I was told there was a microwave in the lobby for guests to use. Convenient for me based on my first floor room. The microwave really needed cleaning and I'd replace it based on the condition. I did report it to the front desk 3 times. This problem really stood out because the hotel was spotless everywhere and housekeeping was visible.

Hotel was easy to get to off the highway. There is 2 restaurant on sight , we ate at the grill. The service was fast ,friendly , and good. Hotel was a little noisy at night. Get the room facing the Mississippi River. The sun sets are beautiful.

Bring ear plugs. This is a casino with late night gamblers coming back to their rooms.
