Breakfast was a highlight of our days. The coffee was hot and delicious and the choices were all beautifully presented and tasting. Though we didn’t have a dog with us we loved the presence of several over breakfast and dinner. They were delightful and added to the feeling of ‘home’. You(everyone working there) were such warm & generous people. You had a way of making us feel quite special. And of course, the whole setting of your albergò. What could be more wonderful than sitting looking out over that lake and mountains. Peace. …..and the bed and pillows soooooo comfortable!a

Fantastic location beside Lake Garda, close to a small village with plenty of restaurants and bars. .A small hotel where we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the balcony overlooking the lake. Good selection of breakfast options. We also ate dinner here which was delicious. Staff were all friendly and super efficient. Wonderful to wake up to a lake view each morning, the scenery here is spectacular. Room was a good size with plenty of storage and hanging space.

Limited outside space for relaxing but what there is is lovely and looks directly onto the lake.

Beautiful and cosy hotel. Such great service, felt personal and professional. Breakfast was amazing and the pictures does not do it justice how pretty it is. Close to the beach (where sunbeds were included even!). Me and my boyfriend stayed 5 nights and we loved it.

If I had to say something, it is a small hotel so it could be a bit noisy when other guests closed the doors to the room. I was not to bothered tho.

The Hotel du Lac in Gargnano is absolutely magical from its perfect location right on the beautiful lake to its beautiful attention to detail in the decor and furnishings. We felt like we had stepped back in time even though we had all of the modern conveniences one needs. The staff is always available and very pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts are excellent as is their restaurant, La Bissa that we enjoyed twice. We cannot say enough good things about this truly charming boutique hotel on the lake other than, we will be booking here again in 2025.

Everything. Best place I stayed during my 5 week trip around Italy. Can’t wait to go back. Staff were outstanding. The room was beautiful and the breakfast and facilities were amazing. I need emphasise this. The attention to detail in the finishing an and furnishings in this place are perfect and it is super clean. That’s important to me. Bice all else. This was the best.

We had an amazing opportunity to compare 2 locations at Lago di Garda. And this place at a small Gargnano settlement was just perfect for quiet and lazy holidays. The hotel is literally on the lake and our apartment had a small balcony with breathtaking mountain views. There is a small beach nearby and the hotel provides beach towels, so it was comfy, as we didn't have one. Don't forget to take slippers with you, as the beach is really rocky. It was really quiet place - no loud parties or music, just the sound of the water, cicadas and your own thoughts. The center of Gargnano is really old and beautiful, with nice restaurants and especially polite and friendly staff. Just keep in mind, that you have to reserve a table for dinner in advance. The room was comfy, air conditioned, everything you need is there. For comparison. After 3 nights stay at Gargnano we went to a southern part of the lake to the Dezencano. OMG... It was noisy, a lot of people, really overcrowded place. If you are looking for party - it is perfect. But, as we had opportunity to compare these 2 settlements, we would definitely go back to the Gargnano.

Very good breakfast choice & evening meal. The owner, his daughter & staff were all very helpful and friendly. We joined the sister hotel for a wonderful walk to the hotel’s lemon groves which was excellent. We also had a lunch at the sister hotel which was a nice bonus. Our lake view hotel room was lovely. Stunning views. Charming family run hotel and a perfect break in a tranquil and beautiful setting.

Nothing really. We were very happy with the hotel. Maybe tea & coffee facilities in the bedroom. If we were to book again we would also request two lake view bedrooms as the non lake view bedroom was not quite as comfortable and missed having a balcony.

This is a very special, small hotel on the edge of Lake Garda. We had a balcony room with fabulous views across the lake and the sound of the water lapping against the shore all night. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. It is an incredibly relaxing place to be in. Dinner in the restaurant was perfectly cooked and good value. Breakfast was a varied range of hot and cold food

A beautifully run family hotel whose terrace overhangs the crystal clear water of lake garda. Put together in the perfect blend of modern and traditional to give it a real charm. All exceeded our expectations. The photo included here is from our breakfast spot.

Gorgeous small hotel with breathtaking location right to the lake, very nice and helpful staff, esp. Irene was incredibly supportive! Very clean rooms! We are looking forward to our next stay!
