very nice old building, well maintained, with such a nice atmosphere! if you are looking for modern dry style, do not go there, is an old building which have a lot of charm and a plus of charm is brought by the staff, very friendly and welcoming we, as a couple with a 3-years old, felt very well there :) Bonus - double bed was very comfy, and the croissants at breakfast as French as possible (fluffy & fresh)

nothing to mention a, maybe one thing - we came with our 3 years toddler, but we did not ask for an extra bed because she sleeps with us. But we found an extra bed already prepared anyway. did not use it, tough :)))

The hotel is very well located, within a 10 minute walk of most restaurants, monuments, mustard shops etc! The couple running it are charming, helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was good - the bread was particularly delicious - although there was the omnipresent coffee machine, which is always a bit depressing. However everything else was very good, and we would definitely return.

Nothing we didn't like per se, just be aware (as always) that if you stay in a hotel near the centre of a town there will be some noise in the night.

Lovely friendly welcome with lots of local information provided. Great location for a fairly short walk into town, but far enough out that it was quiet. Spacious family room for 5 in the eaves. It was a hot day so the room was pretty warm but thankfully plenty of large fans were provided in the rooms and so with skylights open too it wasn’t too bad. Decent breakfast including gluten-free bread for 2 of the family. Private parking was available, but since we were able to park right outside in the road for a very small cost we did that instead (free 7pm-9am) Nice courtyard garden too.

Very minor details about the room: - Despite the fans, the room was still warmer than ideal. - Head height in the bathroom was quite low - no plug for bath or wall mount for shower head.

The hosts at this hotel are very welcoming and friendly. It's in a really good location close to the charming old town of Dijon. There's a few local bars very close too. They're great for people watching and soaking up the atmosphere of those that live in the area. The rooms in the hotel are small but perfecly adequate - and offer great value for money. The hosts at breakfast did a great job of taking care with my wife's nut allergy - even going to the shop to buy some bread when they weren't sure of the ingredients of what was provided on the table! Very kind and thoughtful. Dijon was a real surprise to us - such a beautiful old town with exceptionally well preserved buildings around every corner, which stop you in your tracks. The proximity of the cathedral to the surrounding medieval buildings is surreal! There's a lovely evening atmosphere as everyone appeared to be outside enjoying a meal or drink - no matter what day of the week! And the best thing was that the hotel was never far away when we'd spent hours following the owl trail!

The room was small but ok for our short stay. the location was great for the center and was only a small but comfortable walk. Breakfast was good and all produce was fresh. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with local history and sight seeing options. A really nice small hotel that met all of our needs.

The room was slightly dated with the fixture and fittings but this is an old building and modernising would take away the character of the hotel. Parking was limited but the hosts made sure that our motorbikes were safe overnight.

The location is perfect. It is very close to the excellent tram service and the train station is also nearby in easy reach with the tram. The hotel staff is so friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel has a very homely feel. You arrive as guests and leave as friends. I can highly recommend this facility if you want to visit and enjoy Dijon.

Nothing worth mentioning.

The property is located amongst a maze of inner-city streets but once the many "one-ways" have been navigated and the hotel is reached, the ideal location can be appreciated. A short walk away from the hotel one can experience the "old city" charm and unique history. This is an old and quaint property, well maintained and comfortable. A really good breakfast is an option for a minimal charge.

Right on the edge of the old town. It had its own distinct character. The staff was super friendly and helpful able to choose either to walk into the old town of Dijon or hanging out more locally on Place République

Our Room faced onto a little road that seemed to be like a race track until about midnight – after which it was very peaceful and quiet but the road itself is crying out for pedestrianisation.

Location was great, 5-10 minutes to the "heart of Dijon". Staff was GREAT (their attitude has increased the overall impression (and evaluation) with at least 2 points). Breakfast was good (again, the presence of the staff improved the overall impression) - it was more than I expected in a 2 stars hotel, probably at the level of a medium 3 stars. Room (room 2) was small (as expected), a bit dark. Bathroom was small and really not new (agein, somehow as expected). The problem came from the lack of air conditioning (expected) associated with ground floor- towards the street window (unexpected (sometimes loud) noises until very late in the night while it was too hot not to open the window). The small inner garden was nice. Underground parking was easy to reach and not expensive.

Madame in the reception was incredibly friendly and kind. The room was clean enough.

I'm not sure if that was because it was a weekend, but it was noisy outside all night, with people hanging out and cars passing by, even though I closed the window thoroughly. But I know that it's different from what the hotel can control. So, I recommend having earplugs for you while you sleep. :)
