The location of the hotel was convenient to restaurants ( the bakery across the street was wonderful) and the town center and about a 10 minute walk from the train station very doable with luggage. A nice grocery store was a two block walk and well stocked. Our room was clean and comfortable with a small kitchenette that was handy. The owner and her staff were very kind and helpful. Once checked in we had a code for the entry making it easy to come and go. For those driving you should know that the secure parking garage has only five spaces and street parking could be a bit of a challenge from what we observed. Checking for parking directly with the management would be advisable before arriving. When traveling we do not spent our time in the hotel. We look for clean, comfortable, and conveniently located accommodations that are reasonably priced….having a friendly staff is a bonus. L’aparthotel LhL checked all of our boxes, we would definately stay there again.

Excellent location, within walking distance of the main train station and all necessary amenities. The property was remarkably quiet, and the room was spacious, with ample storage and all the basic equipment necessary to cook. CCTV in the corridor gives a sense of security.

Not enough lighting specifically when using the kitchenette. Cleanliness is basic. Did not see any staff during my stay only at checkout and yet no communication... very strange.

We selected his hotel for the location near the Old Town. It was perfect for our 1 night. Room - It was definitely clean but needed a bit of minor maintenance - shower area etc - mainly wear and rear. The toilet area was a bit cramped - serviceable but on the limit for a larger person.There is a lift. Someone was at reception every time came in or out. Breakfast- was €8.50 which I thought was good value. Driving - Parking is on street and we had to drive around the block about 6 times before finding a space. Free overnight and cheap in working hours. I would return and do recommend this hotel

Parking

Location was superb. On-site, underground parking was a huge bonus. Bathroom tap was stylish and great. Decent shower.

Only basic cooking utensils provided. We should have done with more cutlery and crockery. Providing basic kitchen essentials eg cooking oil and salt would have been really helpful. Tea bags and sugar were provided. The room wasn’t serviced once in the 5 days we were there and we had to empty the bin ourselves.

The room and shower were perfectly fine and the breakfast, though not very generous, was sufficient. Two of the three reception staff we came across over the two nights were friendly and helpful.

The young man in reception the afternoon we arrived did not exactly make us feel welcome. Perhaps he was not told that a smile and friendly demeanour are important attributes of the job.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! Close the everything and the rooms were absolutely amazing. Most importantly they allowed us to leave our luggage after check in, there was free washing machine and washing tablets for use, clothes lines to hang up our clothes. Amazingly clean and just a very enjoyable stay. Which we could have stayed longer than a night!

Location was great, close to good restaurants and the old City. Parking was great as the hotel has its own parking, however there are limited parking spaces, first in. $15 € per day. Security is very good. Breakfast simple, but fresh and adequate. Excellent free laundry, full kitchen in rooms. Great helpful owner, has great advice on restaurants and other information. We were very grateful for her help. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Bathroom a little small, adequate, but shower could be better. We prefer more regular room servicing, especially when we were out for most of the days we stayed. Perhaps every second day would make a difference.

Great location within easy walking distance to city centre. Also big plus having a secure car park.

Nothing really - all fine. We were there in a heatwave and could have done with a portable air conditioner but it wasn't the hotels'fault that it was a heatwave and the in-room fan was a great help.

Its location and its price - so close to the Petite France area just across the canal and also, most affordable

It seemed to have very limited parking - we were given an alternative parking location, but found it quite difficult to locate even though your receptionist typed it into my GPS - we eventually found it 👏👏👏

I loved the location as it was only a short walk to the old town and to the train station. I think my favourite thing was how versatile the accommodation was. The kitchen in a cupboard was a brilliant idea and had everything you could need in it. The town has plenty of places to eat and we never intended to eat inside but when it poured with rain one day we were glad to cook in the little kitchen. Having the option of a breakfast in the dinning room was also good and on a hot day we sat in the lovely garden.
