Service excellent, spa lovely and location excellent. Clearly a very established hotel and very striking. Used this on the way to skiing and parking was important - secure, readily available. Breakfast was utterly sublime and every bit worth the €25pp each (and possibly more!).

Very expensive for what it is. £300 for the superior room is too much given that it’s a little tired, not spotlessly clean by any stretch (shower, carpet and chairs unclean) and room 201 is right by the lift. House champagne £27 a bottle online and glasses going for €19 which is an unacceptable mark up in the bar.

Room is really warm and cosy. The bed is really comfortable with lovely pillows. Breakfast was full of choices. Location is a big factor with public parking next to it. Great location with a beautiful park at the front of the hotel. Most restaurants are in walking distance.

The Kettle in the room was full of lime scale. For a 5 star hotel I feel that the separate toilet is missing a basin so you need to wash your hands by going into the bathroom each time you finishing using the toilet. Also I would expect a bidet in the toilet or bathroom.

Delightful and efficient receptionist. Wonderful breakfast with caring servers. Easy access and parking.

Poky, dull and bizarrely shaped bedroom. Too hot and airless and a constant background noise hummed throughout the night. Below standard designed bathroom without any hand soap so if having a bath there was no soap to hand as the bottled body-shampoo was out of reach. If having a shower the water splashed all over the floor as no curtain.

The comfort of the room, room service, the valet service, the superb location, the drop off and collection point just outside of the hotel, the restaurant and the high quality of the menu, the good choice of breakfast offerings The town of Dijon is superb especially the two cathedrals

The cooked food for breakfast was at best lukewarm but often stone cold The receptionists were at times cold and difficult. Early breakfast was at 06.30 but no valet to collect your car from the underground car park until 07.00. There are 4 floors for the car park and unless you know where the valet parked it on your arrival, you will be lucky to find it by yourself if you cannot wait until 07.00. Early breakfast at 06.30 and the availability of the valet should be the same

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were quite comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice. Starting at 6.30am was also good for since we had an early schedule.

The shower had no curtains, thus the bathroom floor would become all wet. When I mentioned this at check out, the staff just nodded but did not even take notes. There was some lacking in detail which you would not expect from a hotel of this calibre. (eg no bottle opener and when requested never came. missing tissue box, leftover cleaning equipment)

Staff in the 'nice' restaurant was exceptionally helpful and flexible. Thank you!

Service in the garden / bar needs improvement and a better attitude. Garden needs to be open more often and staff be a bit more courteous. Breakfast is nice but room tends to get cramped if there are lots of people in the restaurant at the same time.

My room is not warm enough, I tried to control the air condition, but doesn't work. And the television didn't work, anyway I didn't watch TV, so doesn't matter.

The aircon was fantastic and the courtyard garden was the highlight. A really pleasant place to relax. The concierge Isaac deserves a shout-out for being fabulously welcoming and helpful

One of the waiting staff in the courtyard in particular had a little bit of an edge to him. His sarcastic comments didn't go unnoticed!

The location was great and the staff was very helpful.

The room was very unusual. There was minimal space to unpack your things although the room size was good. The door to the bathroom and the entry door to the bedroom were not thought out properly as you could get stuck in the bathroom if the hall doorway moved. The restaurant could have used more staff at dinner time.

We were able to walk to this location from the train station. It a beautiful historic building in the perfect location for visiting Dijon. We were able to walk everywhere. La Grande Hotel La Cloche provided hands down the best buffet breakfast on our entire two week trip through Switzerland and France!

Our room was a little on the small side and the decor needed updating. We also had trouble controlling the AC in our room and had to ask the front desk for assistance twice (though they were responsive.)
