It’s v close to the station and to the Darcy Park and into the city. There’s a convenient little supermarket 1 min away and a bakery. The room is good for the price, a bit off the street so it was quiet. It’s not a luxury hotel but you know that when you choose it. I think the stand-out thing here was the staff, who seemed genuinely pleased to have you stay. They were very nice and helpful and want to make sure you have a good visit to Dijon. Just for example, it was a hot day so they had put the air con on in the room before I arrived, so I walked into a cool room and didn’t have to unpack in the heat while waiting for it to start working. Also, a lovely tree in the courtyard.

The hotel was exactly what I was looking for and met all my expectations. At the price, don’t expect luxury, but the staff warmly welcomed me at a late check-in time and the room was comfortable and clean. The walls are thin, but expecting this I had ear plugs so was not a problem. The bathroom was old but clean and large and well lit. I like this location in Dijon too, a short walk from the station and the centre of town.

The hallways are quite dark and the wifi doesn’t work well in the rooms.

The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the train station. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and everything worked well.

The hotel has a somewhat outdated, old-fashioned vibe. I could hear noises from the neighboring rooms—but it didn’t bother me too much. The hairdryer needs to be requested at the front desk.

I really liked this hotel. Not expensive and so the rooms were definitely not luxury but it was quaint with a little courtyard, the bar was open all night which was good for us as we arrived late and everywhere else was shut. Breakfast was really good, I liked the breakfast room and we could take our dog in which was great. The staff were really friendly and the location was perfect.

The parking is limited and it's a very narrow lane to get to the hotel but obviously not a lot can be done about that.

The breakfast was good. It's a hotel with a small private room for a cost comparable to a bunk in a nearby hostel.

Shared shower smelled mildewy every time I used it. The hotel's policy of having to leave keys with reception was odd to me, but only added a half minute or so to get in or out.

Absolutely perfect location. Easy to find coming by car and finding a parking place in the area was easy too. Lovely staff that were perfectly bilingual, no communication problems at all! Breakfast was small but perfectly sufficient - and I looove mini-croissants! The hotel is located walking distance to the beautiful city of Dijon and has easy access to the road leading to the race track which was the purpose of our stay Will definitely recommend it and stay there on future visits to Dijon 🙂

The room was fine but the bathroom missed a small table or something that one could put one's vanity bag on. There was also a problem with the evacuation of water in the sink that was connected with the drain of the shower. It was quite stinky. But keeping the door to the bathroom closed worked, so we only told the staff when we checked out

It is was good valur for us for one night sleepover. It has all we need. Comfortable beds, cold and walm water in bath and effective sun blocking sun shades at the windows.it is under reconstruction, so don't be surprised to see broken tile in the bathroom or not completely fit lightswitch. Good sleep we had in complete darkness.

Some details still need some love and repairs.

This is a 2* hotel but it is very clean and well positioned in Dijon for walking into the city centre. There is parking on site which is tight but the staff are very helpful in fitting everyone it and helping one to leave in the morning. We had come from an apartment in Rheims without AC or fans so the cool and refreshing AC at Hotel Thurot was extremely welcome.

The hotel’s location is ideal. It is about 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The receptionist was very helpful. I arrived at the hotel quite late 1.00 am in the morning. He was there to check me in. The room was clean and comfortable.

We've stayed here twice now and would stay again. The room is lovely - nicely decorated, very clean with everything you need for a short stay. There's a great bar at the hotel if you don't want to go far, but its nice and central to other bars and restaurants if you do fancy going out.

The beds weren't very comfortable.
