The location was excellent and we walked around most of Dijon during our two day stay.. We had a fantastic balcony overlooking some beautiful historic buildings which was a perfect spot for morning tea and afternoon people watching. The room was spacious with a sitting area. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the black out curtains worked well. The breakfast was varied and well priced, lots of choice, fried, continent, fabulous cheeses and fresh fruits! The spa was a great way of relax and great to have during a heatwave.

As has been mentioned in other reviews the remodel of this splendid building is insensitive and jarring; I couldn’t find the funny side (much as I like Yoda!)

Amazing, and most importantly central air conditioning for a July visit. Perfect with kids. Sofa bed not super comfortable but for a short stay it was doable. The bed in the loft space was huge and accomodated my younger son to sleep with us while the 14 year old slept by himself on the sofa bed. Sofa bed duvet was tiny and they were fighting for warmth so my little one 12 year old slept with us in the big bed. FYI my husband and I are on the small side so we fit.

Bathroom situation was weird. Shower is open so it is awkward staying with older kids. I took shower when they were all upstairs watching tv or playing video games. They should have at least put a glaze on the clear shower door so it was not such an open view. Shower was visible from the living area. Toilet had its own room and the sink was open to the first floor of the duplex.

The room condition was good, it is modern, cozy, clean, comfortable, and spacious. The Location is great Wonderful mattress The gym is open 24hr Very , very quiet Nice spa Included a nice sitting and table area

-The colourful illumination on the window was disturbing, we could not find how to switch it off and the black out did not stop in full the light coming into the room. We put the towel over the lights Tonsille the issue - The vanity’s mirror is modern having many lights options to be used, however the home bottom cannot be turned off, not allowing full darkness in the room - The duvet was too warm and no alternatives are facilitated left in the room to swap e.g lighter blanket or additional bed sheets - The spa working hours are too short in the evening., it closed at 9pm - we did not mind but storage options are open - no doors any where

We spent a long weekend at Aloft Hotel Dijon By Marriott. The location couldn't be better - very central, close to all the main sights. The room was very spacious and clean, we liked the design as well. Little SPA corner was a very nice addition - lovely saunas, jakuzzi and a pool. The staff was super helpful and even checked us in earlier. Definitely would recommend.

There is no restaurant at the hotel for dinner, but there's a bar and plenty of nice restaurants nearby, so it's not really a problem

Very modern hotel in a beautiful old building. SPA has a small pool, but equipped with wave making stream, I believe for athletes to swim as if it was long-distance which we thought was a great feature! Whirlpool bath, sensory shower, steam room. Room had a comfy bed and pillows, a fridge, very quiet. The staff was beyond helpful - thank you very much for your help and hospitality! Great location to visit old town. Large and quiet bar area to hangout.

We visited the pool at 8pm and were the only guests which was great, but the SPA area was unmanned with no bathrobes available and the lockers didn’t work. We managed to find single-use slippers. The lights in the corridor were going on and off as there was no movement. We still enjoyed it but it was a bit odd not to have staff there. The room has very modern decor, which my partner really liked, but to me looks too sterile and “cold”. So really a matter of personal preference. Our windows faced internal courtyard so unfortunately there was no view, but for 1 night was absolutely ok.

Very helpful staff. The location couldn’t have been better. You can go everywhere on foot. There are shops, attractions, and restaurants and cafes all around the hotel. Very convenient.

The room was very bare and cramped with no view at all. No wardrobe. Just a small space to hang your clothes and a couple of drawers. Very slow lift. However, it was very clean.

The hotel is very nicely located right at the entrance to the old town so it's very convenient for walking around. The bed was comfortable and breakfast food was decent, but nothing special

Parking and breakfast quite expensive at 20€/night per person and 20€ per day for parking. Some of the facilities lack maintenance, e.g. the elevator made constant squeaky noises during operation. The doors are also squeaky when opening/closing.

Breakfast exceeded expectation. Not a big area but had everything, well stock and staff continued to check and replenished. I saw a team leader training a new staff in a very professional manner. The location was great, closed to many restaurants and shops but yet not noisy. We also found a laundry place closed by - dropped off and picked up in 24 hrs. Highly recommend. OH and I heard the pool was great. My friend's kids had a blast.

I think the tables at breakfast area can be better arranged. Hard for families to sit together.

Good location and good size rooms. The spa is also quite impressive.

The rooms are great for shorter stays (no cabinets to unpack your clothes or chairs to sit on); this is especially so if the couch downstairs is turned into a bed (occupancy with 4). There is only a glass door separating the shower from the rest of the room so there is no privacy when coming out of the shower.

Location, staff, breakfast, spa

The hotel offers ‘reserved’ parking for 24hrs at an adjacent garage….at twice the price as if you just take a ticket from the machine and pay on exit. We witnessed a guest at reception being given a spurious explanation for this disparity which the member of staff seemed embarrassed to deliver. The hotel is great, just park your car on levels 2-5 and save your money.
