Charming, Peaceful, and Perfect for Families We had a lovely stay at this charming and quiet hotel — it was the perfect retreat for our family. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, with a genuine sense of hospitality that made us feel right at home. A special mention goes to Brice, who truly made our stay memorable. He was not only extremely helpful and attentive but also full of charm and good humor. He's a real character and such a key part of the hotel’s charm — we’ll remember him just as fondly as the stay itself. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a peaceful, character-filled getaway.

The hotel felt very clean and well cared for. The staff were fabulous - in particular Brice who telephoned me prior to arrival as I had emailed to enquire about the car park. He also cleaned our windscreen before we left as it had sap from an overhanging tree. Super service. The room was very comfortable - not large but had everything perfectly arranged. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Bathroom was spacious enough and the shower was powerful. I loved the body wash too. We did not have time to take breakfast unfortunately as had an early start - but the next time we will be sure to. Location is perfect - a very short walk to bars and restaurants, and then into the main centre of Dijon.

The restaurant and service were very good. The wine list, expensive but good. It was a great experience but the food disappointing. The ‘Variations of Asparagus’ was bland and complicated. I think some delicious steamed asparagus with butter would have been a lot nicer. My beef was cooked perfectly however the salty green pepper sauce combined with the salt on the filet was too munch salt. I didn’t eat the sauce as a result. Overall really good but I think the chef sacrifices taste for presentation.

The staff were fantastic, without fail. Professional, friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had lunch and breakfast at the property and the food was good. Very central, everything is in walking distance. The original building has a lovely decor and a nice little courtyard garden.

Overall the room was good, had all necessary amenities. A few small touches could be improved upon - the carpet in-front of the fridge/coffeemaker was stained and the bathrobe had a hole in it.

Maison Philippe Le Bon is a quaint hotel that has parts dating back to the 15th century which adds atmosphere. You can sit in the small courtyard and enjoy the delights of the bar. The restaurant is very good and all the staff are all friendly, helpful and speak English.

The quaintness is responsible for the old stone spiral staircase that requires a 52 step climb to get to your room. There was no warning of this and it was a little dangerous lugging large heavy suitcases to the room. Breakfast a little disappointing especially as the scrambled egg was made from powder.

The 15th century bldg is charming and the two garden areas are relaxing and inviting. The staff is excellent and incredibly responsive (we asked for additional towels). The restaurant is a pleasure from the food !!! to the staff to the setting.

Sound carries up from the inner courtyard in the evening, but it only happened one night. The rooster was very enthusiastic every morning, but it wasn't really a problem.

Lovely hotel, very nice staff, room was excellent. The hotel is situated on a quite narrow road (has parking) but also has a public carpark across the road too. Dijon is really lovely and this hotel has an excellent location - very easy 5min walk to the old town.

Staircase to the bedroom - old stone spiral staircase - really beautiful but if you have any mobility problems, young children or dogs you might find this a challenge. Please note: not all rooms are accessed via this staircase - just ask on booking - would highly recommend this hotel.

The decor of the registration desk area, the breakfast room, the bar, the bedrooms, were each different and didn’t flow at all. The bar felt dark with mirrors, the breakfast room had red everywhere, the reception silver and black, our bedrooms white and deep green. Highly recommend a color or design consultation to integrate the different spaces. Maybe because it was winter and we were focused on interior spaces, that we had this reaction. The beautiful medieval courtyard was too cold to hang out in as it was March. I can imagine it’s a fun location in Spring and Summer.

It is an old, historic building and it’s beautifully done up! The room is spacious for a short stay. Breakfast was pre-ordered but very tasty and fresh. Parking right outside the hotel in a paid closed parking is also quite affordable. The staff was super nice and helpful.

The Bathroom was very very cold. This made the floor terribly cold and the reception had no bathroom slippers on asking. It is a tiny fault but made our stay uncomfortable!

The location of the hotel is quiet, but with easy access to the old part of Dijon. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and with excellent showers. Having supper in the courtyard on a warm evening was very enjoyable, and the food and wine were very good, Breakfast was also of a very high standard. We would happily stay there again in the future.
