The value for money is maybe the best in the area. The rooms are spacious and very clean - you can walk barefoot if you want, and don't worry about getting your feet dirty. The bed was comfy. I was extremely lucky to get a room with a small fridge. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that there are no A/Cs, only a ceiling fan, which provides a comfortable room temperature unless you are used to living in a fridge. The staff is super friendly and polite. The owner, Kerstin, is amazing and very helpful. The breakfast was great, and there was a variation in some of the options every day. Fruits and pastries are in high demand. The location is very convenient - close to the shopping streets, restaurants and supermarkets. Also, a night market and Saturday market are 2 minutes away from the hotel. The Cala Agula beach is 15 minutes of slow walk away, Cala Gat beach is also in a similar distance, but it's very small and quickly gets crowded. One of the things that was really cool and smart is that the guests could leave the toiletries and cosmetics, and other guests could borrow them if they accidentally ran out of stuff. You can borrow (or leave your own) a sunambrella or some swimming stuff as well.

Actually, there wasn't anything I didn't like, but just a couple of things to be aware of. You can hear your neighbors and noises from the street, so if it bothers you, then bring earplugs.(not an issue for me) This hotel is in high demand, so you have to hunt down a room.😅

We stayed for 3 nights, and we received an upgrade- a bigger apartment. It was spacious, with a balcony, living room and a kitchen, which was a very big plus. Breakfast was included as well. Very good value for money, great location, super friendly and helpful staff! 😊 Wifi, towels, tv, basically everything you need for a pleasant stay. There was no hairdryer in the room, but there is one in the reception and you can easily borrow it😊

Furniture felt quite used, old (the couches in living room). And it was a bit difficult to find a parking spot around, but it’s not the hotels fault. No AC, only the fan-ventilator, it was a bit hot to sleep, so we would open a balcony door, but then early in the morning we would wake up from the noises made by a truck that cleans the streets. (But then again, it’s not the hotels fault).

Wonderful stay with exceptional staff We had a great stay and truly appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were absolutely lovely — very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. One of the highlights was how accommodating they were: they kindly let us borrow towels for the beach, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made our trip even more enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was offered in the morning, which added a nice touch to the overall experience. What really made the difference was the staff — their kindness and positive attitude made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a friendly and comfortable place!

Located close to the harbour and near to the pubs and clubs. The nearest bus stop is less than a 3 minute walk away. The rooms are simple and clean and are attended to most days except Thursdays and Saturdays. Our room had a fridge and an air conditioner but not all rooms have this. There is someone at the front desk at all times and they are very helpful. There is a basket of products and seaside equipment that departed guests have left, which is very helpful.

Breakfast options were limited and lacked variety, but for the cost of the accommodation that includes a free breakfast, I can’t really really complain.

I loved how clean and well organised Hostal Alfonso is. Runs like a well set up clock. Rooms are clean above expectations, cleaned every other day witch a change of sheets which really isn't something I expected at a hostel! 😊 The whole place is simple but renovated and well-kept. The breakfast is fresh and simple yet super sufficient and again I didn't expect it to be that good within this price range. The location is great and safe. The Staff and the owners are polite and very helpful, they helped us accomodate our late check-in. I would highly recommend Hostal Alfonso.

Great location to explore Cala Ratjada and the beach at Cala Agulla. Staff are friendly, especially the lady at breakfast. Breakfast is basic but good. Bed was comfy, nice view towards Arta for me. Very effective air con unit in room and small balcony. Nice to see them offering the use of things that people have left. Toiletries, beach umbrellas etc. Saves waste. Room average size. Very close to the market, sea, restaurants shops etc.

Aircon unit very noisy, I had ear plugs, and it did drown out the noisy guests. One of the beds in the room needed attention as very creaky. No privacy on balcony as low dividing walls. Furniture a little worn in room.

Everything was perfect! The hosts were super nice, friendly and helpful. We had booked a room with fan by mistake, and when we got there they changed us to an aircon room free of charge. The breakfast was super good, a lot of options, pretty complete. The last day we had to leave really early in the morning and they gave us a bag with water a snacks to take to the airport! The neighborhood is nice, quiet, close to beautiful beaches, restaurants and stores.

I stayed at the hotel with my daughter, and we really enjoyed it. Everything was clean, there were TV channels with cartoons, and the housekeeping was excellent. The breakfasts were delicious — my daughter especially liked the melon, Nesquik, and pastries. The owner of the hotel is a very nice and pleasant woman; she lent my daughter an inflatable swim ring, an umbrella, and sunscreen for the duration of our stay. Thank you for your care.

What a gem! The staff is lovely, accommodation is basic, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and a lovely surprise. The area is safe and super family friendly, supermarkets, restaurants and even a playground for my little one less than 4 minutes walk. Behind reception they have sun umbrellas and beach toys that you can borrow, and it was a total life saver as this was my first trip alone with my toddler. Honestly they were great, super attentive to us and I would come back in a heartbeat!

Very hard to find parking spaces as it’s quite central in Cala Radjada, but we managed as it was off season. Walls are not super thick, so heard a lot of the late night talk in both adjacent rooms, but little one slept through :) Would still come back, just minor things.

Simple, unpretentious pension, excellent location near the port, restaurants, bars and bus stop for easy sightseeing. Clean room with modern bathroom, air conditioning. Good breakfast, nice coffee, delicious scrambled eggs. The breakfast and cleaning staff are smiling and friendly, but above all Kerstin on the front desk is both welcoming and super efficient. Great value for money

The mattress was a little too soft for my liking and the television had no Spanish stations
