This is my second visit and hopefully will continue to be my go-to place to rest up for some serious shopping at the outlets. The hostess who was there during my check-in was so kind, informative, and made me feel relaxed from the very beginning, and whenever she would see me in the hotel. I wish I could remember her name so that I could give her recognition for going above and Beyond. My room was clean and it smelled fresh as soon as you opened the door. No one likes to get hit in the face with a funky smell upon arrival. My bed was comfy. The pillows were ok. The bathroom was also clean no stray hairs left behind from previous guests. ( pet peeve of mine).

1. I wish they had more lighting, it's just a little too dim.

I booked this hotel to be close to the outlets for a mother-daughter shopping trip. I'm so glad we stayed here. The location was safe. The outside of the hotel was very pretty and contemporary. Upon arrival, the host was very nice The room was clean, and the bed was cozy. I would stay there again.

What I didn't like, which was not a deal breaker. 1- while the host was nice, he didn't let us know about what was offered by the hotel. Ex. Where the pool was located, would I like a free cookie lol. Just the small touches of what was offered. 2- I requested a room on the top floor because I'm a light sleeper and the guests that were above me were heavy footed and the kids were running a marathon lol. It made sleeping harder for me.

The welcome to the Hampton inn on the TV. The breakfast was great and the service was very helpful. my wife is in a wheelchair and the service asked my wife if she needed something to drink. I was getting my wife some coffee and also helped with her sitting in the eating room . The bed was very comfortable. If I am in Smithfield North Carolina again, I would definitely stay again.

The bathroom needs more handicap bars by the toilet and the shower needs a seat for the disabled to sit down while washing their body.

The entire hotel staff from the desk to the restaurant and the maid staff. A company of gracious individuals who are there to make your stay as if you were at home. I have visited several times I unfortunately picked a least expensive hotel. What a mistake. The money I saved was not worth the amount of comfort and enjoyment I received at the Hampton Inn. Keep up the great work.

The fact we couldn't stay longer. Can't think of anything but the fact you couldn't have required a better staff.

Dawn checked us in and she was amazing. She made me and my family, all feel like we were family stopping in for the holiday. She joked around with my boys. Talked a little with my wife while I parked the car. It seemed like we've known her for ever. Dawn was the perfect person to talk to after hours of driving in traffic.

Room was great but the sliding door to the bathroom was not, only because we had our kids with us. We would want a door that locks. If it were just my wife and I or I was traveling for work the room would've been great.

We stayed here for my wedding and let me just say from the room to the staff, everything was amazing. We decided to do a hotel the weekend of the wedding at the last minute. So when the staff at the front desk found out I was getting married, they sprung into action. I got a free snack item off the wall. my bridesmaids got to take the tall chairs from the lobby upstairs for makeup. My now husband and I were going to stay in the same room I did the night before so housekeeping came in redid my room. there were heart decorations on the door and rose petals all on the bed and floor when we came in. there was a bottle of champagne in the fridge, water bottles on the counter, and the tv was on a love radio station. it was so beautiful and the staff here are so sweet and very thoughtful 1000/10 stars!!!

I was on a road trip from Philadelphia to Orlando. Due to hurricane Debby all flight were canceled and I had to be on time. This hotel is somewhat halfway so I booked this in order to get some sleep. I arrived at approx 2 in the morning and they were already waiting for me. Very nice. Next morning they fixed me breakfast to go. Great stay...!

I rather had flown, but that's besides the point.

The location was conveniently close to the highway and is also close to an outlet center. The woman at reception was very friendly and check in was quick and efficient. The room was spacious and clean. The parking area was large and easy to park in. The bath soaps and shampoo were of good quality, which is always a nice surprise. The breakfast area is large and spacious.

This isn't a criticism, just an observation. When we were about to check out, there was no one at the reception desk and no way to get someone to come. We saw another guest put their key card in a basket on the desk so we did the same, as we couldn't wait any longer. We did get an email confirmation that we had checked out, but it could have been made clear that this was the procedure for checking out.

The room was large, and quite possibly the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in! One bed was somewhat firm, the other somewhat soft, which was perfect, as me and my partner have different preferences in beds. The staff was uniformly kind and helpful. The breakfast was awesome, and they even had a staff person handling dishing out the hot items. I couldn't be more pleased with all aspects of this facility, except...

I was on the 2nd floor facing the Interstate, and the level of the highway noise was surprising. Also: I continue to be appalled by the upcharge hotels that call themselves "pet friendly" charge for the courtesy of allowing your pet to sleep on their floor. I realize that some folks don't take good care of facilities, allow their pets to chew things, sleep on or in the beds, etc. BUT, as they have always had issues with humans trashing rooms: the same mechanisms used in the past to charge guests for damages should be adequate for damages caused by a guest's pets. $75, about a 33% increase in the cost of the room, is NOT reasonable.

Well maintained hotel, staff was friendly, very clean, located in a very nice area with many restaurants and shopping to take advantage of if you have time while visiting.

The beds were just ok along with the pillows. They were not horrible by any means just felt they could have been a little comfier is all.
