Location is great with the grocery store, many eating and/or coffee locations as well as the ice cream and bakery across the street. I liked that the shower curtain is opaque, so a family member can briefly walk in even if another member was showering. I liked the bright lighting by the sinks. Plenty of outlets and scent of shower soaps (orange/citrus) was nice.

Breakfast was the most disappointing aspect of our stay. A 2nd waffle maker is needed. It's clearly a popular breakfast item but it takes a long time to make. Both times we went to breakfast there was a long line. The omelets were dry and the proteins looked anemic. Fruit options weren't refreshing (berries would be amazing) and scarce and ran out (apples, bananas). For the room, my preference would be to have a dimming option in the actual bathroom as we tend to wake up during the middle of the night to use the RR. The motion light coming on so bright/harsh on the person coing from pitch dark, plus for everyone else sleeping.

Location and clean. Courteous and friendly staff. They really try to accommodate customers. Convenient to grocery store and restaurants.

Could definitely improve the breakfast items. They didn’t have scrambled eggs. They had some sort of egg fold with processed cheese. The fruit for all 3 days I was there was old not fresh. We made a waffle however, the plastic utensils were extremely flimsy. The pillows were so soft. There was zero firmness to them. I did ask for another but they didn’t have any.

Nice place. Good area, centrally located and not far from Sacramento. I’ll be back.

The first room was great, king suite with fireplace. Couldn’t rent that room for second night so went to the other building, the hood you could say but clean and rooms are fine. But I’ve stayed here several times and every damn room smells like curry! They hate on the smokers and threaten $250 fines. Do something with controlling the curry! It’s bad!

BW Dixon first stop to see family before moving on to two esteemed hostelries in the wine valleys; both of which could have learned important lessons from this modest but exquisitely-maintained and well managed hotel. We have been here before, of course, and know to return.

Nothing to dislike. Glad. the pre-covid breakfast buffet has returned. Well done.

Quiet room, comfortable bed, nice TV, swimming pool and fitness room. I did not use the sauna -- maybe next time. Good breakfast.

I have no complaints at all. Well the TV remote had a NETFLIX button, but apparently the hotel had not actually subscribed. But I mostly use the TV for news anyway.

Staff was lovely. Rooms and grounds are very clean. Great location. Lots of parking.

When we arrived there was a school who was staying at the hotel. Very loud and took over the facilities. Great idea however not so great for the other guests who were staying and couldn’t use the pool because there were dozens of teenagers filling it.

I liked that it was possible to check in later than 16:00, I wrote to the hotel in advance that I would arrive later and they met me friendly and fully prepared at 23:30. Check in was quick. The room was clean and nice. There is a coffee machine inside. I liked that the breakfast was varied. Thank you!

We were given a room next to a couple who were having a relationship and the police even came to see them. Hearing is high.

My Room was comfortable and roomy, and just what I asked for with handicap accommodations. T.V. and variety of channels was great. The desk person was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was a large variety of breakfast combinations to choose from=I'm very satisfied and will come back again!

Conveniently located just off the freeway - close to Safeway, eating places and gas stations. Staff is very friendly. The room had everything we needed. Thrilled to get great sleep because the bed was perfect (it's usually hit or miss).

Only complaint is that the shower could've had a little more pressure

Exceeded expectations. The rooms were clean, well laid out, the bed very comfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast and swimming pool after a long day of driving the night before. Very nice. We made a note that this was an excellent place to break up out travel from SantaBarbara to Portland.
