Walking distance to everything in town, the free transportation offered by the town to major tourist areas is 2 steps away from the hotel , people complaining about the train but it was not disturbing because it is not loud, at the hotel there are several private sitting areas and the best one is the common area upstairs looking at the water on one side and the town on the other side ( seats in the shade or in the sun are available), the 100 year old hotel building has a lot of charm that we want to keep and maintain, plenty of free parking, owners are very kind and attentive to your needs. Thanks again for the upgrade room that I did not even asked for!!! Stuart town is more pleasant to stay at than at the beach hotels because the beach and extra shopping are not too far even by car.

Charming Inn in the heart of downtown Stuart, about a minute from the water/Riverwalk. We were in town for a high school reunionand this was perfect. Lots of walkable dining and shopping spots and a free tram if you want to go a little farther. Super nice Inn Keepers, well equipped and comfortable suite, rocking chair porch, quiet but seconds from lively downtown. Free parking, a view of the water from one side (Flagler Suite) and a good value. I grew up in this area and always wanted to stay here...I'm very glad I did!

There were just two, very minor things. The wifi signal was a little weak which made working on one of the days difficult. Also, the bathroom mirror and wall mirror in one of the bedrooms were clearly hung by a tall person. :-) I'm 5'3" and had to stand on my tip toes to do my hair/make-up or even see myself in the bathroom mirror.

Charming and unique hotel, right where you want to be in Stuart. They also had parking spaces for my car, which is hard to come by in the area. This is a family owned business that is part of the story of the community. I really loved it everything about it. The rooms are more like apartments in that I had a full kitchen and living room. There is a nice selection of coffee and free bottled water. My bed was very comfortable. I was able to walk around get dinner, go to another place have a drink and end the night in the tiki resteraunt/bar below. There was no issue with noise in the room at all. I highly recommend.

The Cottage was nice. Loved the coziness. The shower was very nice. Very close to walking distance from many shops and restaurants. The staff was very receptive to our needs. Love the electronic device charging devices.

Not all outlets worked. The vents weren’t sized for the openings. The dryer trap, which I cleaned myself, had about 3/4” layer of lint in it and had blow by evidence in the downstream part of discharge. Lighting in bathroom/utility room was poor. Light above kitchen sink didn’t work.

The location is very nice. The house is really big. There is a full equipped kitchen available. We got some bottles of water in the fridge! Very friendly staff.

To check-in you need to contact owners one hour prior to arrival. The reception has opening hours. The water in the bathtub is leaking (noisy!). One of the beds has a damaged frame - will broken really soon. Not enough electrical sockets close to the bed. There is a lot of extras (books, chess, comfortable armchairs, etc.), which I would exchange for a new shower and taps.

Fantastic area. The hotel was well kept, quaint, quiet, and overall fantastic. The room was beautiful and spacious. Certainly will be back again.

They had just had a power outage the night before and only had one person working. Poor girl was going crazy trying to get everyone checked in, rooms cleaned, property maintained. I felt bad for her but she was so sweet and such a hard worker.

It was really amazing! You can see the water from your balcony. I love historic buildings. This is so well kept and conveniently located to access shops and restaurants within walking distance.. I would recommend it to everyone and I will be staying only there when in Stuart Florida!

There is absolutely nothing not to like! I loved every aspect of it!

Traditional building complemented by traditional interior, furniture and decor. Good sized room with small kitchen. Shared balcony with seating overlooks the street. Great location close to town and waterfront with good choice of restaurants. Private parking. Stuart is one of those great small towns which is worth a visit in itself.

Did not think breakfast came with the room ? The location and parking were great and the staff was very friendly. The room was quaint and good sized.

The bathroom was a little small for my taste. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 185 pounds and thought the shower and toilet were a little small. The couch was old and very uncomfortable. The TV should be bigger and moved over to the wall by the door.The bed was comfortable but getting around the bedroom was a challenge. The price was about $100 too high for 1 night. I have stayed at other places about 1/2 to 1 mile away with breakfast,pool,etc. for $90-$110 range over the years. Over all the stay was great and location was a 10. Would i stay there again ? For 1 night i would splurge,but if i stayed more than 1 night i would save $ and stay down the sreet 1/2 to a mile away from the down town area.

I love that it’s a family run historical inn. This was the best staff I’ve ever encountered, from front desk to the cleaning staff, you couldn’t find a more attentive kind and helpful group of people. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. The location is right in the town center so you can walk to all shopping, restaurants, and water.
