The suite was large and the entire hotel has recently been refurbished. We had a full-size fridge and range. There was also a microwave. We asked for a bathmat and the owner went out of his way to find one for us. Very friendly, pleasant staff . The hotel is conveniently located to the SkyTrain into Vancouver--about a 10-15 minutewalk. Bus stops are very close. Also, within walking distance there are many places to eat.
There wasn't a coffee maker in the room.

Newly renovated 2 storey motel. very clean . Basically the hotel rates in Vancouver area are very high, so we had trouble finding something under $300.00 per night, i.e. that met our more limited budget. This hotel was good. However, keep in mind that as hotel rates in Vancouver are so high, where you would get a room for this price with robes and hair dryers in some other more non touristic cities across Canada , here you don't. It is a basic no frills hotel/ motel. Nevertheless, the room was clean, bright comfy and the staff very nice. It is about 1/2 hour to White Rock- lovely beach area, and 40 minutes from aquarium etc, and 35 mins. approx from airport.

The whole room is spotless, it had new appliances and new everything from what I could see. The rooms are quite spacious as well. Nothing was out of order and the staff were very kind. People mentioned that there was lots of traffic noise but we stayed close to the highway and weren't really disturbed at all, which is surprising considering the proximity to a hospital. We would absolutely come back to stay because of what an affordable and lovely accommodation it was. Highly recommend. And we have stayed at several hotels the past few months, in each city from Vancouver to Surrey.

This review is part of a big road trip we planned around British Columbia and Alberta – flying in from Australia and renting a car, for the trip of our lifetime so far. We put a huge amount of time, energy and expense in planning the whole trip. As Aussies, we just want to say Canada is amazing. Just beautiful. It was worth every bit of planning and expense we put it into for so very long. Be proud Canada – what a beautiful place you live in! So, in that context, here is this review: The room was large, comfortable, clean and a great start to out Canada trip. We chose it because it gave us an easy escape from Vancouver for our trip east the next morning.
Nothing to not like. The receptionist/manager was a lovely, welcoming person and the good quality room was just the perfect start to our Canada trip following our long flight from Australia.

We are from Toronto and had to make an emergency visit to Surrey Hospital to see our brother. We stayed for almost two weeks. Ruby, the manager was excellent as was the rest of the staff. The hospital is just around the corner from this property. We had a one bedroom with kitchen facilities, it was so great for us. Huge mall up the street on King George, Tim Horton at the corner, Dairy Queen and Indian restaurant next to property. We would stay here again for sure!! Thank you Ruby!!!
Nothing!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the George Point Inn at the end of August 2022. From the friendly and accommodating front desk staff, to the clean, quiet and newly renovated room, we had an excellent stay. The Inn is a short Uber or 15-minute walk to the SkyTrain, so it was very easy to get to Vancouver. We attended a wedding and told all the locals that they could recommend the Inn to their guests without any hesitation. Amazing value!
A couple of additional extras in the room would complete the experience, like a coffee maker/kettle. But there's a Tim Horton's just up the street so we didn't mind!

The Motel had been renovated recently and was very fresh. We were upgraded to a room with a sink and a larger living area and bedroom which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend this motel if a place is needed in this area. We were going to the ferry the next morning to go to Vancouver Island and this was one of the more reasonable places with good reviews and it worked well even though it is 21 miles from the ferry but we are from Texas where we are accustomed to driving long distances so this was not a problem for us.
The facility was very nice.

it was close to the hospital where I was having surgery. in spite of heavy snow, there was plenty of parking. when I said I needed an extra towel for the hospital required cleaning, we were upgraded to a suite which already had extra towels. the desk manager was very pleasant. it was amazingly quiet for the area it is located
we didn’t notice one window was open to the bitter cold, and in spite of the baseboard heaters finally throwing off lots of heat, we were uncomfortably cold until we found & closed it. perhaps some written info on how to use the heaters would be good - my husband had to go back to the office to find out.

The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable · Front desk and room service was excellent · King George Skytrain station is a brisk 10 minute walk · Better value than "big name" chains in the area · Multiple security cameras monitoring the building
The Wi-Fi Network had a very easily guessable password which gave me serious concerns for the network security · I can't think of anything else to type here but the website wants me to put something negative (my stay was overwhelmingly positive)
