Le Touquet is a lovely town with some good restaurants in the town centre. Hippotel was about 1 mile from the centre but a straightforward walk which felt safe and pleasant especially in the summer months. Good central location to visit other nearby beaches such as Berck and Bologne Sur Mer. Hotel is located near a hippodrome and equestrian centre so if you love horses this hotel is a safe bet. Lots of cyclists too and dog lovers. Very peaceful and would definitely go again. Great market on a Saturday.

Breakfast was basic continental so only had it one day. We ended up going to the local Lidl and buying bread and cheese and fruit for a fraction of the cost.

Was very surprised! In a good way. Its in a lovely location and the balcony had a fab view of the gardens and horse arena next door. It was a bonus to have the odd horse graze on the grass below our balcony. The staff are super friendly too. Its about a 15 minute walk in to town where there are the restaurants/bars/shops. But to be honest it was such a nice walk and location that was no concern at all - in fact a bonus! Beds in the room are comfy and the room although basic (you wouldn't expect any more!) had good facilities like fridge and small kitchenette with glasses and cutlery - and cork screw!!!

There was nothing to dislike!

Clean and adequate accommodation for a short stay. We had booked a 6 person family apartment for just three of us and it was a reasonable size with a useful kitchenette. There was seating for two and a table on a small balcony overlooking the hotel gardens which was nice. The location is next to the horse racing course and away from the main centre of Le Touquet so it’s a short driving or a long walk into town.

The room is quite basic for the money and the 6 person apartment is very small if 6 people are staying. There is no living room area in the apartment only a dining table so no sofas or comfy chairs so it’s not very comfortable. There is no second bedroom, if you can call it that, it’s more of an alcove without a door, into which, a bunk bed has been fitted. There is no window in the alcove and it’s dark and gloomy. The man on reception wasn’t very welcoming and did little to act as a good host. Lastly at 6am on the first morning, the bin lorry made as much noise as possibly to empty the bins and then this was followed by the laundry lorry who did like wise. All that said, I probably would stay there again for its location.

Leafy location behind equestrian center. Welcoming entrance with outdoor seating and a cool bar with billiard table and seating area inside the lobby. Friendly and helpful staff. The apartment could sleep four. The bunkbed section could be a bit tightly spaced for older children. But we were only two adults, no kids, so very comfortable. The room had a balcony which was useful for hanging beach towels out to dry. The breakfast was very good value for money. As was the room.

There is a big, free car park in front of the hotel but it was full when we arrived. There are however other parking options not too far away.

This was the perfect place for us - a family of four with a 10 and 6 yo. We had a view of horses from our window (daughter even got a pony ride in), a little bedroom for the kids (lovely to have them separated for everyone’s privacy) and great cooking facilities (hob and microwave). We enjoyed the pool and mini football table in the lobby as a family and the balcony in our room too. There was space for the kids to run around outside and we were within walking distance of the area of natural beauty where we went seal watching. We will come again and recommend to friends. Great stay for the price!

This is an ideal short stop location. Perfect after the long drive from our house to the Channel crossing point. It's a quiet location yet only a 15 minute stroll through the town (via the many boutique shops and restaurants) to the beach, or you can take the 30 minute walk along the coastline. The rooms have good amenities, kettle, hairdryer, toaster etc meaning you can take your time and relax in the comfort of your room. I've used this hotel on all of my travels through France, both as a first stop after the UK and as a last night stay before returning. Rooms are spacious enough and clean, ground floor rooms have access to an outside space. Plenty of parking areas so not too far to bring your luggage. It is next to a local airport so there can be some light aircraft noise(we're talking Cessna's not jumbo jets!)...

What's not to like? Breakfasts are okay, could do with a restaurant of it's own but there's plenty within a 15 minute stroll..

Perfect for our purpose. Location perfect for us, walking distance to the town and within a lovely area. It had all needed for a 3 star hotel. Nice sized balcony and room had a great size with small kitchenette. Staff very kind.

Second bedroom (with bunks) had no door but was mainly a little snug off the entrance. Shower is build in but had not shower curtain. So one needs to make sure to not wet the floor when showering. Breakfast standard with no healthy option apart from whole fruit and plain yohurt. Otherwise quite basic but sufficient for non food conscious people. Compared to other apart hotels around I found this on the more expensive side.

We stayed for 1 night on our way from the eurotunnel to south of France. The location was ok, a bit out of town but that meant it was very quiet and peaceful. Next to the horse racing track which our kids found very exciting. Short walk into the town centre was pleasant on nice shady roads. We had a family apartment which was great, with separate bedroom for the kids and some bunks in the corridor. Easily fitted the 5 of us in. Parking was a big tricky as there was an event at the race course so people were parking all over the roads etc. Overall a lovely stay.

The hotel is about 30 minutes walk from the beach and 15 minutes to the restaurants/bars. We had a room for 4 - a separate bunk bed room which would be ideal for children - i think 2 adults would be cramped. There was also a kitchenette with some cooking utensils. We didn't use it. There was a little seating area outside our room which was lovely to sit in the sun. The staff were friendly and breakfast at €10 per person was good value - no full English if that's important for you but a decent range of breads/pastries (bread was particularly good). Bathroom was small however separate loo was appreciated.

Fabulous stay at this brilliant hotel which feels like you’re in the middle of the country. Easy to walk to town (10 mins) and fabulous for dogs. Staff brilliant and dealt with a difficult resident next door so quickly and well. And apologised too. Car park is easy and safe. Room had everything you need and the balcony is a plus.

Dogs opposite in a house were so aggressive but nothing the hotel can really do. The annoying resident was allowed to stay even after the police came the night before but as I said; 5* as he was dealt with.
