My stay was excellent. The hotel's secure, locked entry provided a great sense of safety, which was further enhanced by the availability of private parking – a real bonus. Its location was fantastic, offering easy access to the vibrant Cerro Alegre neighborhood with its captivating wall paintings and diverse restaurants. I felt very safe exploring the area. The hotel restaurant was a highlight, serving delicious dishes made with fresh, local ingredients right at the table.

The only suggestion I would make is regarding the bathtub, which was quite slippery. This could be a concern, especially for guests with children. Providing a non-slip mat would likely be very helpful in improving safety.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The decor is wonderful as is the ambience. The room With the balcony is one of the most beautiful stays I’ve ever had, the view is priceless! I especially enjoyed the breakfast service which included fresh fruit juice, coffee and a delicious selection. I especially enjoyed the pancakes with manjar (dulce de leche). The staff was professional, helpful and very courteous. Thank you to Hector and team for making me feel welcome and safe as a solo female traveller.

Nothing, I loved my stay.

The hotel is an old nice house, which belonged to a British painter. We booked the room on the top, which has a fantastic view of Valparaiso. The hotel is located in the center of the touristic area and has a parking, quite an asset if you are driving to Valpa. the building is nice, the people at reception are very friendly (e. g. Hector). They have a good breakfast.

There is no elevator, this can be a challenge if you have a lot of baggage. The Wifi is not perfect and some parts of the building need more maintenance

This is a gem of a hotel in vibrant area of Valpo! Great location for exploring Valpo on foot. Rooms are large, beautiful and clean. Many have amazing views. The little rooftop terrace is such a great bonus - terrific views of the Valpo hills and harbor, and a great place to see the sunset. Breakfasts were tasty. Staff was so friendly and attentive. They have one off-street parking spot which we were able to reserve in advance at no cost - just be sure to ask before you get there.

Boutique hotel with 8 rooms. Built in 1874, the features have been beautifully maintained and furnished with antique furniture. Amazing view from Room 8, which has its own terrace overlooking the bay. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. The bed was extremely comfortable, and bath towels were thick, fluffy, and high quality. Close to the top of the Bohemian district, there were plenty of food options and cafes within walking distance.

The hotel is in a lovely location on a quiet street in one of the best neighborhoods in Valparaiso. The view from our top floor terrace was out of this world. And the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The only slight constraint is parking - we rented a car and the hotel reserved a small garage for us so that worked great - but I would definitely recommend early coordination to make sure there is a parking spot available if using a car during the stay.

a beautiful and charming hotel in the middle of historic Valparaiso. We were very friendly welcomed. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with some links to the former occupant, the English painter Somerscales. The family room we booked was very large, with a beautiful view on the hills of valparaiso. The beds were of high quality, as was the bathroom. breakfast was excellent. If you step out of the hotel you are in the middle of the touristic centre, with many bars and restaurants, amidst many scenic views. The street in which the hotel is situated feels safe and more quite, with free parking space in front of the hotel. Highly recommended!

everything was OK!

great reception staff with brilliant recommendations if you choose the room with balcony, a brilliant view of the city at night and when the sea fog clears! very attentive staff and breakfast service make sure you check what days you stay in Valparaiso as Sunday/Monday is very quiet not all restaurants open but staff gave us options. provided secure parking easy to get to most attractions on foot on route 68 a stop off or day trip to Casas del Bosque vineyard is highly recommended.

parking garage is a small garage with tight squeeze lots of stairs but that is Valparaiso!

Breakfast is excellent. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Location is great to visit surrounding restaurants and cafes. We stayed in the top room and views are amazing.

Not a hotel problem, but something to take into account, if you stay at the top room, you'll have to use stairs quite a lot.

Everything was perfect! The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and copious. The hotel has a lot of charm, especially with the log fire in the living room. Great views over Valparaiso from the rooftop terrace.
