We recently had a fantastic stay at Royal Bay and wanted to share our positive experience. One common concern we'd heard was about the food, but we found it to be more than sufficient. While not overly excessive, there was a great variety of dishes to choose from at every meal, ensuring there was always something delicious for everyone. The drinks are standard for an all-inclusive, but the option to upgrade to premium brands for as little as €3 a glass was a nice touch if you wanted something a bit more special. The beach bar is truly excellent, and we have to give a special shout-out to Ivan – he's incredibly friendly and skilled! The same goes for Cristina, who serves at the bar next to the restaurant; her service was equally outstanding. We'd also read reviews mentioning water splashing into food from the pool tables, but we're happy to report this is no longer an issue. During meal times, access to the pool is restricted, which completely resolves this concern. The beach itself is wonderful. The lifeguards are friendly, and while it's true that some sunbeds are reserved from the day before, this mostly applies to the very first rows near the water. We found plenty of available sunbeds to comfortably accommodate all hotel guests, so there's no need to worry about not finding a spot. Finally, a truly important and commendable aspect of Royal Bay is the on-site medical office and doctor. This provides immense peace of mind and is a valuable amenity that sets this hotel apart. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Royal Bay and would highly recommend it!

One minor point was the parking fee, which felt a bit high. However, the parking area itself was large and had plenty of space, so finding a spot was never an issue.

The location is exceptional. The staff is great and the food is quite good too.

I have 3 things i disliked. Because my room was last on the coridor i couldn't get any wi-fi signal ( which was present in the coridor). There was no ice in the middle of the summer at the bitch bar for drinks serving :( And the last thing was that the serving area couldn't quite fit all of the guests at the peak hour during meal serving. We had to wait for like 10-15 min for a table to clear. And a bonus one: the time when you can get the beach towels is 10 am, and if you are at the beatch from 7 am you will have to bring your own from home. Aaaand no free water in your room, even though you have all inclusive. Get a bottle from the store and fill it from the bar.

The entire staff was extremely nice and welcoming - loved the beach bar staff especially! Plenty of food, diversified, very good cakes and pastries compared to other all inclusive hotels. The sheets were changed daily, same as the towels. Loved the cocktails served at the bar as well. The location was huge, with plenty of places to take a walk or relax on a bench while enjoying the sea view. I would recommend the hotel for families with children (as it was full of kids), and not for young couple in search of fun and parties. The cable TV had also two Romanian channels, Antena 1 and TVR.

The beach sun chairs had no pillows so quite uncomfortable. The bathroom was cleaned quite superficially (the shower had some dark colored hairs on the margins from day one until we checked out - I'm blonde, so they weren't mine). On Mondays we were supposed to have the Barbeque night, but there was no Barbeque served. Most of the dining tables are outside and if it rains, you will have to do some waiting for an inside table to clear in order to eat (we had to wait around 1h on one rainy day until we got a place to eat).

The staff was nice and friendly, the food was tasty and fresh, nice location and view from building one.

The sun beds and umbrellas on the beach are most of the time occupied by guests over the night even though they will never come. The staff does nothing in that regard even though there are everywhere signs that states do not reserve and everything found on the beach and sunbeds overnight will be removed. It's almost impossible to find a sunbed and umbrella! A little more cleaning would be nice too.

The view from the restaurant is very beautiful at sunset. The food is tasty. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are clean and comfy.

The wifi did not work during the weekend. Probably there were too many devices trying to connect. The beach is pretty small. The front pool is in front of the restaurant, so it’s open only a few hours. I did not see many people using the front pool. I believe it’s just to catch your attention on booking websites.

The location was perfect. The food was pretty good and various.

The reservation of the sunbads on the beach with putting the towels every night by majority of the guest. This was forbidden by the property regulation and it was written everywhere. Please prioritize by cleaning the towels from the sunbads.

Friendly staff, nice facilities, good quality-price ratio. Rooms in building A are big and spacious and the view is just lovely.

Staff should speak English. All sunbeds are occupied over the night and you cannot find any available in the morning. Even though you have a big announcement that let's you know that towels will be removed over night if left on the beach, that never happened. We visited the hotel two times this summer and it's always the same This can ruin your experience because the beach cannot be cleaned properly.

Position by the sea. The fact that they had their own private beach that they managed and gave you free access to it. The facilities on the beach are good. Nice sunbeds, umbrellas, enough space so that it doesn’t get crowded. Place to have a walk. Showers and bar on the beach. Food was good, sufficient variety and pretty good quality for the money you pay. We also had a good surprise, we did not book a room with sea view, but they gave us one that had quite ok view towards the sea. The rooms have AC that works well so despite the high temperatures, the room is chill. The terrace of the resto has a great view to the sea. The tea selection is good.

Rooms were only superficially cleaned (especially the bathroom, which we rather had to clean ourselves to have to use the toilet). Don’t expect much in terms of drinks - they serve water and artificial soft drinks on tap. Coffee is okaysh. Teas are good. The free alcohol is Bulgarian (copies of Martini, rhum brands and other). They are not extraordinary. Wine and beer on tap. Tasted just the wine which is bad.

- breakfasts, lunches and dinners were tasty. the quality of the products was ok; - bartenders were smiling; - the beach was clean; - the hotel was clean around; - the room was big; - nice lobby at the reception; - a very quiet area where you can relax; - the air conditioning worked good.

- the rooms were not cleaned thoroughly; - no daily replacement of towels and cosmetics; - smell from the bathroom - problem with the sewage - reported and solved for a while because the next day it was the same.
