The hotel had a total of 10 free parking places in front of the hotel, and another parking at 50 m from the hotel which was for 14 leva/day which I didn't understand why it wasn't for free as well when you have around 50 apartmants in the hotel.

Top location right in the middle of Balchik and at around 1.3km of walking distance (over a steep slope!) from Queen Mary's palace and botanical garden. Large rooms, very nice view of the black sea and Balchik promenade. Good AC, good breakfast, good-ish terrace with food and drinks.

Bathroom smells like mould. Overall cheapness in most furniture (some newer but cheap, other finishes older and dated., Balcony very dirty. Hotel advertised as having free parking but the parking is actually charged with 7 euros/ day. Overall a good location for a weekend stay but definitely not a 4 star location (except for the room size perhaps)

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Maria Palace Complex in Balchik, and it was a truly exceptional experience. This level of cleanliness made our stay all the more enjoyable and worry-free. The beachfront location is simply stunning. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having immediate access to the beautiful beach was a highlight of our stay. The property offers breathtaking views of the sea, making it the perfect place to relax and soak in the natural beauty of Balchik. Additionally, the staff at Maria Palace Complex were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to our stay, making us feel welcome and well-cared-for.

There is nothing to dislike.

Excellent location, close to a quiet beach, perfect for kids. The room was very clean, towels changed every day. Close to all shops and restaurants. Beds were super comfy, the linen was not changed not even once during our 7 nights stay. Breakfast is good, same things every day, but quite varied.

The stairs to get to the beach were a challenge when travelling with kids and grandparents. The sofa bed in the living room is a disaster, a wooden part broke when sitting on it and made a big scratch on my leg (very unpleasant start of the holidays, still we could upgrade -not for free- to a 2 bedroom apartment with very comfy beds). Parking was the biggest challenge, the one way street is super narrow, so beware.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is located on the promenade, with a superb view of the sea. The apartments are spacious, the cleaning is done daily. Although it is on the promenade, the rooms are quiet and you can rest. The staff are friendly, there is paid parking near the hotel. The breakfast is super ok, the same every day, but you have something to choose from. We will definitely return to Maria Palace Complex.

Very spacious apartment, well maintained and beautiful. We loved the sea-view and the position right in the heart of Balcik and near by the good restaurant La terrassa. Affordable parking - compared to other places.

Though the place is clean enough, it could use improvement. There was hair from previous guests in the shower. Please place a cup for toothbrushes in the bath. It costs so little but it improves a lot the feeling of hospitality.

The apartment was ok, confortable beds, great view, near the beach

The parking lot is a whole mess, only a few parking places, some of our friends had to park in another place and they had to pay for it, totaly unormal for a 5 star hotel. The parking lot is half poved, so the rest of it ia very inconfortable to walk with a baby stroller. They do not have a lift from the main reception to the rooms, you have to carry you’re luggages on the stairs, not fun.

Everything was perfect! The hotel location is on the seaside and you can enjoy the beautiful view from your balcony. The room was spacious and very well-kept and had all the facilities that you needed. The breakfast was delicious with fresh food every day. Definitely would come back here for a few nights!!

Right in the heart of Balcik, great sea view, close to Makai beach. Mostly clean, elegant, helpful staff.

Last evening we stayed we did not have hot water, cause we accidentally pushed on a switch in the hallway that turned it off - the boiler. For 12 hours no one was able to give us this simple info - turn oh the water then wait 15 - 30 minutes. Some guy at the reception- the manager I guess was quite angry in the morning asking me why the hot water did not work. Quite absurd. A simple sign above the switch which looks like a light switch or instructions at check-in would have saved everybody the nuisance. Also cleaning could be better. There were spiderwebs in the hallway of the apartment, the cupboard was dirty as well as parts of the floors. Not dirty but not entirely clean.

Located on the seaside, the view is beautiful and you can take a stroll on the promenade. The rooms are spacious, clean, and come with a nice balcony :). The breakfast was varied and tasty.

The extendable sofa in the living room is not comfortable, and if you're staying on the first floor, it's noisy.
