Very clean and comfortable room, free acces to a large clean swimming pool, helpful reception and cleaning staff, very close to the botanical garden. There are two 15 min paths that lead to the restaurants area by the sea/the promenade near the castle, if you enjoy an active holiday and walking through loads of greenery it shouldn't be a problem, it's a lovely walk to and from the hotel; also close to souvenirs shops to get smth for your peeps back home.

The breakfast is slightly under the level of the overall service and hotel appearance, it's pretty basic food that you can easily get from a supermarket, no deserts to accompany coffee or tea, the coffee is average, powder milk instead of actual milk

I liked that the room was prepared earlier and we were able to check in 2h in advance. The room was all clean and tidy. The location is good as it is close to the promenade area. Also breakfast buffee is very convenient with multiple options to choose, some drinks also included.

The clean up service was a bit poor. When we placed the clean up sign, the cleaning lady just changed the towels and did not clean the bathroom, not even left some toilet paper so we had to provide it ourselves. Next day she changed the bedsheets as well but the bathroom was not cleaned.

I liked the location, it is very close to the botanical garden and some restaurants. Also the waiters are kind and the swimming pool is excellent. They are also nice with stray animals, cats and dogs, which are allowed on the terrace, thing which I personally find it very good. In the room was also a perfect silence during the night, no noise was heard by us, which was good.

The fact that the reception ladies were not so willing to help. If you have issues, try discussing them with the man. He is willing to help. I also believe that the music in the restaurant area could be improved. You simply only listen house music from breakfast to dinner. As for the food, the breakfast is by far the best, lunch and dinner should be improved. No fish (although located at the sea), no pork, just some chicken, I almost felt myself vegetarian, and I am not a meat eater not even at home. For men this must be particularly disturbing as they deserve a bit more protein.

We had a nice stay at White Rock Castle Suite! We had a room upgrade which we are grateful for, the breakfast was good, room really nice. It was clean and we also went to the fitness and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at the pool. The hotel is right next to Mary's Castle.

If you want to get to the beach, you'll need to take a 20 min walk down the hill - this is just FIY.

During our recent vacation, we had the pleasure of staying at White Rock Castle, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Their friendliness and willingness to assist truly enhanced our experience. Whether we wanted to relax by the pool, unwind in the spa, or keep up with our fitness routine, everything was easily accessible and in excellent condition. Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight. There was plenty to choose from, and the staff ensured that everything was always refilled and fresh. Overall, our stay at White Rock Castle was a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Lovely clean hotel and room. Good location. Friendly staff. Free parking although limited spaces. Our room overlooked the pool which looked lovely although we didn't use it, had a pool bar too!

Hotel is really nice although spa is not included in price. Parking is available although spaces are limited which is an issue in summer. There is street parking but it is all coned off I believe by the Balchik Palace so you need to use their paid car park, obviously not the hotels fault though.

The hotel overall was pleasant and clean. The staff were friendly, although they didn't speak too much English. But overall, it was a great value-for-money hotel.

For some reason, the pool was only open until 19:00, even though there was no maintenance done until the following morning. Another issue is location: to get to any beach you either had to climb down a lot of stairs to the promenade below which had 1 or 2 ok beaches near the piers, or drive to another place entirely.

The hotel has a great location — just a short walk from several tavernas and supermarkets and about 15 minutes on foot from the seafront promenade. The rooftop pool is fairly large and very clean. There's also an underground parking — a real plus during hot summer days. The room was quite spacious and very clean, which made the stay comfortable.

The only downside was the breakfast, which could definitely be improved.

The room was spacious, with 2 balconies. The bathroom was very large. Very close to Queen Mary's palace and restaurants. We traveled with our dog and it was welcomed (as it was everywhere in Balchik - a really pet friendly place).

We payed for the spa but it didn't look like it was often used, they had to open it for us (we announced in advance). However the spa room was very cold (probably 20C), the saunas were not working, so in the end we only had the small jacuzzi. Not bad, but not what we expected and not what we payed for... Limited options for breakfast

Spacious room, large bathroom with tub, nice furniture, clean swimming pool.

The cleaning of the rooms is done daily but it’s just a quick mopping of the floor. At the beginning of our stay the room looked like it was cleaned in the same way after the previous guests have left. We found watermelon seeds in the minibar. The door of the room didn’t work properly, there is a card system to unlock but the door has to be lifted in order to close it, which is annoying.
