We mostly enjoyed the room size, the meals included (diverse and mostly fresh), the warmth of the staff (especially those who were working in the dining room), as well as the fact that our towels were changed regularly, and the room was clean.

We didn't appreciate the cold, unwelcoming attitude of the receptionist.

Great location in Chayka, 10 mins on foot to the beach (Kabakum). The pool seemed well-cared for, but I didn't use it (since it was quite small and usually full of children, and I went to the beach anyways). The room was spacious and cozy, although the style was a little outdated. Everything was very clean. Cute balcony (though not a lot of privacy as there were no dividers). The bathroom was functional and large enough. AC and WiFi worked great. Breakfast buffet was satisfying, it had everything I needed. The staff were friendly. The hotel was very accommodating with my check-in and check-out time!

During the last two days, the cleaning staff only emptied my trash bin and laid down new towels. They stopped making my bed, which was weird. Be advised, there is no safe in the hotel room.

Comfortable bed, clean room, good wifi, nice staff, good breakfast. Nice clean pool. Parking places available in front of the hotel if the courtyard is full. Hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the beach and there are restaurants and supermarkets near the hotel.

There was some sand in some parts of the room from the previous guests that was probably missed by the cleaning staff. Thr curtains are thin and sunlight comes into the room early in the morning. The area in which the hotel is located is not very well maintained (not the hotel's fault) but it's quiet and the beach is ok.

The hotel looks great in person and the hygiene is outstanding. The facilities are cleaned multiple times a day and the pool is cleaned every evening. Our room was cleaned every day - sheets and towels were changed upon our request. The half board was great. There is enough diversity and they always try to make something special for the guests. The bar offers a variety of drinks at very reasonable prices. The temperature of the water in the pool is great and the depth is just perfect for kids and adults alike. There is a playground for kids to enjoy, as well as a football/basketball field and a trampoline. There are many trees and a garden around the hotel which helps a lot to fight summer heat and feel refreshed and relaxed. The staff is so kind and caring. We stayed for 8 nights and by the end we felt like we were their friends or even family. The vibe of a family-owned hotel was great and we could feel it upon every interaction. Not only the owners were treating us well but even the facilities manager, the receptionists and the cleaning ladies were always extremely helpful and kind. Thanks so much for the great stay! We will come back for sure.

Sometimes other guests were either noisy at night, throwing cigarettes ash outside the balconies, or shouting in the pool area - but the hotel is not to blame and were always trying to fix it. The Kabakum beach nearby was not our favorite but we were travelling around and found some amazing beaches very closeby (recommended by the hotel owner as well). There isn't anything about the hotel we didn't like and it exceeded our expectations!

My mother and I really enjoyed the stay at the hotel. A lovely hotel, clean, quiet, comfortable, very close to the beach. Around 20 mins walk to Golden Sands’ main attractions with convenient bus options. The staff is very friendly and always there to help. The food is delicious. No issues with the water, the pressure was good, you can literally massage your head, it is that good. I loved it. We recommend.

No WiFi at the second floor but you can always go down to the lobby so not a big issue.

Being close to cabacum beach 350 meter and having pool, nice trees and good breakfast

No welcome water and tea bag/coffee, no electric kettle/coffee machine at room and in order to get hot water, we must go to ground floor through stairs from 2nd floor. There is no elevator (it is mentioned at the hotel description). No welcome staff or willing to talk with the guests. The last not the least no stable internet at rooms or even at yard. Only at reception was stable internet although when we checked out, there was no internet at the reception and I could get my direction in order to keep on my trip. Moreover, for playing ping-pong and billiards, guests must pay even not too much money.

Good and quiet location. Free parking around the hotel. The staff was quite friendly. Cleanliness was at a really good level. The ladies were cleaning the room almost every day. Good atmosphere and fair prices for the drinks at the bar. The water from the pool is really nice an clean. The hotel is close to the beach at around 5-7 minutes to walk. We will definitely come again if we will ever plan another vacation in Bulgaria 🇧🇬.

Food is not extraordinary but good enough. So the conclusion is that the hotel is really good for copuples like us who want to walk around and spend more time to discover other places, restaurants and not for people who want to stay all the time in the hotel and eat every meal there.

We stayed at a peaceful small hotel with exceptional cleanliness. We requested a room on the top floor and were delighted with a beautiful sea view. The swimming pool was properly cleaned on a daily basis. The staff was great and professional, especially the hardworking housekeeping ladies.

Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired. At times, some items were not the freshest, and the coffee machine needs servicing as the coffee and hot water tasted like plastic. It would be great if the hotel were adults-only, as children were very disruptive in this otherwise peaceful place.

We had an amazing experience at Hotel Exotica. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was very big, clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Everything from the food (very tasty dinner) to the service exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again! One of the best 3 star hotels we've visited!

Small cozy hotel for people who want privacy and quiet vacation. The breakfast buffet was good and had all the necessities. The swimming pool was amazing. The room size is another great quality - it was huge! Generally, the place was quiet and relaxing 😍 and the stuff was there to help when needed. Nice beach is about 7-10 min walk from the hotel, and the bus bringing you to Varna center is like 5 min walk away.
