Very nice hostel for its price. Cute and clean. The guy there was very friendly and helped with our luggage. The location is very good, close to the station and close to Hondae, where you can visit coffee shops and do shopping.

The laundry is open from 1 pm (there are reasons for it), which was a bit annoying since we wanted to leave earlier to do things in the city. So, make sure to do laundry in the evening. Bedsheets didn’t feel like cotton.

Owner/Manager was very attentive and flexible (we arrived nearly at midnight, left luggage at hotel). Room lends itself for a great sleep. Had good airco in the heat of the summer. Benefits from central location. Good, cheap restaurants around the corner. Metro very close. Comfortable though -like everything in Seoul- very packed and comes at a steep price. (Smaller cities are much cheaper and have more rooms.) Really enjoyed our stay here. I give high marks as I would like to support the owner. But only expect a basic, affordable tourist hotel so your expectations are fully met.

As typical with cheaper hotels, bathroom doubles as toilet and shower with a sinkhole at the center of the bathroom. This was OK with us but may not be for everyone.

The direct surroundings of the where quiet and thus good for sleeping but you just needed to take a few streets to be in a more lively neighbourhood with restaurants etc. The room was very good, you have a private bathroom and the bed was soft. Extra info for travellers: Before coming to Korea, please install a Korean navigation app since Maps doesn't work properly. You can also buy a sim/esim at the airport with a card that can be used for the bus (not the airport expres bus) and subway.

I didn't find the remote of the airconditioning/heater or how to operate it but the room still warmed up in the evening when closing the window. When you do not see the owner when checking in or checking out, you just need to send him a WhatsApp message.

The host Richard went above and beyond to make sure my stay was great. I had questions on where to pick up some items i needed for a snow hike and he provided the stores and neighborhood where i could pick up exactly what i needed. He made suggestions for food places and bars according to what i liked. Richard also speaks every language and has traveled extensively, making him the perfect host, keeping in mind all cultural nuances to best serve his guests. After my trip I didnt even look for other places to stay, i went back to the same hostel. The location is already great for food and is right next to the main train stations.

Richard is a great host! He always helped me with information on tourist attractions and how to get there. He makes sure that everything goes smoothly. The room was very clean and had everything I needed. Specially single woman traveller can useful and safe. He can speak variety languges and understand foreigner culture well. cuz he lived in various countries before. Sinchon area is the best, very lively, with many cafes, restaurants and shops around. definitely come back again Super recommended.

the room is relatively big, private toilet, with all the essentials, rooms are upstairs but Richard was very kind and he helped me carry my heavy luggage to my room, my room had a little cute window which was very nice and I enjoyed the sun light it gave, room is tidy and very clean, hotel is 4 minute walk from the station, and 2 streets away from a very busy area that becomes very crowded during evening lots of activity and stores to enjoy, at night it is quiet and I had no problem with falling asleep Extra points to Richard for being the nicest host you could possibly meet, he speaks English well which made conversation and check-in / out process very fast and easy Definitely value for the price, I’ll stay again when visiting Seoul in the future

It is well located near vivid area full of shops bars and places to eat. It is round the corner from the metro station. This hostel has all the necessery things like kitchen utensils, bathroom equpiment ( shampoo, conditioner etc). The host of the place is very nice and helpful he was taking care of us during the whole stay. Well recommended for people who dont mind travel on the budget.

The hostel is located at Sinchon. Just few mins walk to the Main Street. The environment is is perfect for my vacation. It’s convenient but very quiet and safe neighborhood. Richard is super friendly and helpful, with a warm welcome and like a big brother. I had a great time with OPPA Hostel and highly recommended whenever you come visit South Korea. The hostel is very clean and tidy. I slept so well and didn’t have any problems with checking in and out. It’s just great!!! 오빠 감사합니다 🫰

The hostel that’s in a great area with plenty of food options and shopping street. Right next to the Sinchon subway stop and airport bus stop. The room I stayed in felt like a hotel room since it was so well maintained, and had everything I needed to enjoy a comfortable stay. Wifi signal is enough. Big screen TV and can use YOUTUBE. Richard, the host, was extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for hotel quality but at a hostel price. Amazing place.

The location is excellent, short walk to metro, bus, shops and restaurants. The rooms are quiet and clean. The beds are comfortable. The room had a window to let in some fresh air and was equiped with hairdryer and small fridge. The owner is very kind and helpful.

I liked everything except the stairs 🤣, but the owner helped with bringing the luggage up so this was very kind!
