The resort looks amazing, the beach is very nice, we got upgraded for free to a luxury junior suite. The room is very spacious, the pool was great for our child, bed was very comfortable. The resort is for people that just want to sit back and relax and enjoy the sound of the sea. The beach is clean, but rocky when you enter.

The staff at the restaurants and beach should learn english, very hard to communicate with them. We had comfort all in pack, the food at the main restaurant is mostly the same every day, they should diversify. Except for breakfast which i would give a 9 out of 10, lunch and dinner at main restaurant don't meet 5 star resort expectations. We didn't try a la carte restaurants because prices seemed to be a bit expensive. The minibar in the room isn't refilled daily. They don't have snacks included in comfort all in pack. The cleaning in the room is 8 out of 10. All in all it was a great vacation.

Every single detail of the entire facility was simply perfection! There is so much attention to detail in every aspect of the interior architecture and design. We loved every inch of this resort!

The beach could be more welcoming

The staff was amazing. Hotel was clean, food was good, you could tell that it's a 5* resort.

Internet could have been way better. It was interrupting for like a minute every 20 minutes ..day and night ..and it didn't work at all on the beach. The speed was not that bad.

Beautiful kids and family friendly resort, we had a fantastic time, would definitely return again. Swim-up suites are perfect for families, with great options to spend the day at the pool, beach or at the kids club with small kids. Special thanks to Veronica at the kids club for the fantastic programs. Beach is nice, little bit rocky, but water was too cold to swim in April anyways. Great breakfast and fine selection of bar food for lunch at the beach or at the pool.

Dinner buffet was a little bit disappointing. They had lot of options, but felt very repetitive every day.

From the moment we arrived, we felt an exceptional welcome thanks to the amazing team, especially Katerina and Christa, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The hotel itself is stunning, with a perfect mix of luxury and Greek charm, but what truly made the difference was the positive energy, professionalism, and kindness from every staff member — from the managers to the massage therapists and even the housekeeping ladies who kept everything spotless. We have stayed in many luxury hotels around the world, but the service at Amirandes is simply beyond normal standards. Special thanks to Katerina for the way she manages the hotel with such high energy and care, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere. Christa, it was also a pleasure meeting you — your kindness and attention to detail made us feel so special. Thank you all for making this trip unforgettable!

Honestly, nothing at all. Everything was absolutely perfect!

I loved everything about my stay here. Incredibly beautiful clean resort with beautiful private beach. Food & drinks were phenomenal at their restaurants and buffet (we got half board). Staff were kind & assistive. It was our honeymoon and they decorated our room and gave us wine. In addition to the food & views - I got a spa package and it was excellent. I can’t say enough good comments about this resort, my husband and I will be visiting again & will be bringing family back here. They exceeded our expectations by far. Out of our 2 week trip - this was our favorite place we stayed in Crete

Nothing it was absolutely perfect. Can’t wait to visit again.

The F&B staff was amazing, my girlfriend has extreme celiac disease and needs to be very careful with eating "outdoors". With breakfast, lunch and dinner at all of the restaurants on site the hotel team made sure everything was safe from gluten and other grains. We felt very welcome and taken care of. The rest of the staff was also super friendly and helpful. Sport facilities and day activities were also very well arranged. Will definitely go back some day!

Nothing I can think of, except maybe the caulking in the bathrooms looked a bit old/black. And pool towels were sometimes not fully stocked (never had no towel, but sometimes wanted two towels). Overall very minor things and a lovely experience.

We had a really nice stay at this hotel! The staff truly made our experience memorable, especially the hotel manager, who was always available and quick to assist us with any issues. Their kindness and attentiveness were evident across all areas—from the reception to the restaurants and breakfast. We couldn’t get a late check out because the property was fully booked but we were invited for a lunch on our last day! We found it really nice and attentive, we were so glad about it. The property itself is beautifully maintained, and we loved the wide variety of delicious options at breakfast each morning. The beach was a highlight, with its soft sand and clear water, making it the perfect spot to relax. Overall, we had an amazing time. We would recommend the hotel more for families because there really are a lot of children around and there are no adults only parts. We also got a little goodbye present with olive oil and honey from Crete, it was so kind! The activities in the hotel are simply amazing! We took part in a 2h pottery class with a local potter, we loved it so much. They offer really cool stuff, such as yoga, cooking class, vegetable planting etc. We had a great time in the spa (golden body treatment) and Ioana had magic hands! My skin was so soft and all the tension went away after the massage.

We stayed in room 151, and unfortunately, it was quite noisy due to the connecting door and activity in the hallway. We often heard loud children, buggies, leaf blowing and housekeeping early in the morning (6AM). The bed was smaller than expected, and the hotel is very family-oriented, which might not suit couples seeking relaxation (it was clear to us before, we just didn’t think it was going to be really so many children). Additionally, there weren't enough sunbeds available on the beach, and it seemed like villa guests had access to nicer sunbeds that we weren't informed about before. The restaurants were a bit pricey, and we found both our private pool and the main pool to be too cold for swimming.

All people here are very nice and caring. They have a sea water pool - actually the main pool. Very nice tennis coaches , big territory , everyone will find things to do . Very cool is that they have a free launch for kids everyday at the buffet. Also I liked a lot no need to have towel cards - towels just available everywhere, use as needed, same as water and no request on room number at breakfast- those are small things that make relaxing home atmosphere! Overall great food and generosity in everything .

The only issue we had there is WiFi - they have strong but unstable connection .
