It's one of the most cozy hotels we've been to. The room was on the 3rd floor, with wooden beams on the ceiling. A very spacious, air-conditioned room with a breathtaking view of the castle and the tower. The bathroom is spacious, the bathtub has a slope in the ceiling above it, which might be a bit problematic for tall people. The breakfast was amazingly varied and tasty, with a large seating terrace on the main square, which was a huge bonus. The hotel is situated in a renovated historical building on the main square. Late in the evening, beautiful music can be heard from the square if you open the windows. The hotel, especially the numerous lobbies and staircases are beautifully decorated with flowers and green plants in numerous pots.

One disadvantage is that the building doesn't have an elevator, but this is clearly stated on booking, so it was not a surprise. The room was totally worth the climbing!Another important point. The hot water pressure in the bathtub tap was extremely weak at 10 pm, probably due to the high floor and popular showering hour. At 8 pm it was much better, though 😊

This hotel was almost perfect - the location on the main town square, close to everything. Parking was easy and well explained. Front desk staff was super attentive and friendly. Room was spacious, warm and charming, bed was comfortable, bathroom was huge (oh my those heated floors!!!), water pressure was great, and the breakfast was abundant and tasty.

Only complaint is that the bathtub didn't have a holder for the shower head that would allow for a proper shower. One simply had to hold the shower head with one hand. Certainly not the end of the world.

The hotel was ideally located in the main square in Cesky Krumlov. The staff were very pleasant and there were plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Our room was on the third floor which was the top floor and there were quite a number of stairs to walk up as there were no lifts. Although we could manage these stairs, some people might find them more difficult and if you feel this might be a problem, it might be advisable to see if you can arrange a room on a lower floor. The staff did however offer to carry any luggage up to the rooms.

The bathrooms had a bath with a shower attached to the bath taps. The side of the bath was rather high and the roof over it sloped so made it difficult to get in for us being 'seniors' When we booked the rooms we were told we had each been upgraded to a deluxe room, but the comparison between the room we had and that of our friends was notably different. They had a large airy room with patio doors onto a balcony whereas we had a room which had sloping ceilings, only 1 small window and appeared quite dark. We are both quite small, but both still managed to bump our heads once. We didn't complain, as we hadn't paid for a deluxe room and were only staying one night, but it might be worth noting if booking a deluxe room.

We liked it's location and the staff there manning the place as they were friendly. The room given to us was very spacious as it was the attic on the third floor. It's suitable for families with a couple of kids too as there were sofas in it. The bathroom was large and very clean. We could see the castle clearly through the windows in both the bedroom and the washroom. Breakfast came with the room, and it had a spread of many breakfast dishes to choose from including yogurt in a bottle which we really liked. Since it was off season, we had the whole place almost to ourselves except for a handful of fellow traveller's. Oh, and do try to have dinner in the hotel' restaurant. We ate a three-course meal and it was delicious as the dishes were freshly prepared. The bartender cum waiter was also very attentive. All in all, we think it's good value for our money.

The bed was not as comfortable as we thought it would be. Also, the bathtub was right below the sloped ceiling so even if you're not tall, you'd still need to be careful when you stand up or you might just hit your head. Oh yeah, there is no elevator so prepare to climb stairs especially if you're carrying big luggage.

The staff were lovely and helpful. I got my room upgraded on check-in, which was a huge treat! The location is perfect, right off the main square. The room was spacious and well equipped. We had a wonderful Christmas dinner at the hotel restaurant and they offer a great breakfast too.

The parking was outside the town centre, and no vehicles were allowed in town over Christmas, so there were no shuttles. This would be challenging for someone with reduced mobility. It's not something the hotel has any control over, though.

Location is great right in the square. The breakfast was much better than my expectations, considering it is not a big hotel. The buffet choices are a little fewer than big-chain hotels, but the quality of the food is excellent.

Both of them came with the fact that it is a charming historical building. 1) No elevator, which is not a big deal for backpackers like us, but could be a small issue for old people. 2) Our room is rebuilt from the attic, so the shower head is handheld. Not a big deal for us anyway. Love this place.

Fantastic location, VERY clean, impeccable service by staff. The hotel offers a shuttle service from the parking and back so no concerns with big luggage (area restricted for cars so parking is before you enter the centre). Very easy to book parking. Breakfast was rich in very good flavours and choices. Amazing pillows from another world. Had window overlooking the main square. Spacious bathroom and room. Excellent toiletries.

Was at the top and the shower/bathtub was under an angled ceiling. If you’re 185 will feel a little tight when showering. There is no elevator however staff can bring luggage to the room.

Location is perfect - fronting the Market area for the Xmas Markets. Room was great and staff were super helpful, including a shuttle car to the car park (about 750 metres away) and back to the hotel. This is to be expected when you are staying in the Old Town of a UNESCO listed town. The dinner at Lumiere Restaurant was mind blowing - exceptionally good!

We did not mind the stairs to the 2nd floor room but it could be a strain for anyone with a leg or back injury ....or in a wheelchair.

This is a wonderful hotel located in the main square, the jotel is a listed building but it's interior was very tastefully modernised without effecting the character of the hotel, our room was excellent, it faced out onto the square and was really spacious, the breakfast was fantastic with great choices for a couple of days, even though the presentation area is small, the food keeps coming, the staff are all attentive and excellent at their jobs from reception to housekeeping and especially the waiters, one in particular was a fabulous guy who went above and beyond, his name was Prokop,he should teach other people in this line of work how customer relations is done, we cannot speak highly enough of this hotel and staff which made it a wonderful stay for us in Cesky Krumlov

The breakfast area is small but that is keeping with the old charm of the hotel, but it doesn't impact on your stay, do yourself a favour and book this hotel

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The lovely breakfast each morning was a delightful start to our day, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. The very friendly staff made us feel right at home, always ready to assist with a smile. Additionally, the perfect central location made it incredibly convenient to explore the city, with major attractions just a short walk away. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
