Our Castle view room was very large, with a separate entry/dressing room and an equally large bathroom. Everything was in good order and clean. Three windows boasted views of the tower, castle and its surrounds, plus the river and main bridge. The general environment is busy with tourists but our room remained relatively quiet being at the rear of the hotel. The lift is a bonus. Breakfast was the typical fare of bread, cereals and fruit, cold meats and cheeses with eggs and sausages. It was more than sufficient to start your day. The reception and bar staff were welcoming. The hotel is in the best Cesky Krumlov location within easy walking access of the main sites, town square, bars, cafes and restaurants. The decor is a bit dated, but that is a minor issue.

WiFi reception and speed could be stronger. Some guests might prefer a shower screen to prevent splashing (the shower is over the large bathtub).

the location in the historical center, the windows of the room overlook the river and the castle, and the view is extremely beautiful at any time of the day.The staff is not bad, they helped us to check in earlier, not at 15:00, but at 14:00 hours. The room has a wonderful welcome in the form of fresh fruits and delicious water.The breakfast is great, there are hot dishes and desserts and fresh fruits, it's impossible to try everything.

Since the hotel is located in the historical center, this center does not sleep until 4 am. If your windows overlook the castle, be prepared to sleep with the windows closed. The hotel is not to blame for this and for the convenience of guests, in this case, a floor fan is provided.

This is a perfect location to explore the town! Our room was bigger than we thought it would be, and had a view of the castle and the sweet sound of the river. it was our favorite room on our whole trip!! They gave us a snack called Raffaello, that is now on our favorite food list! The hotel restaurant had really delicious food too, which we went to more than once! To eat outside at a table next to the river is the best!! Very relaxing and charming!!This town exceeded our expectations!! We would stay here again!!!

Maybe put new carpet on your to do list eventually, but it is still our favorite room!!

The hotel is right across the castle beside the bridge. Almost everything you want to see in this medieval town is walking distance. I was lucky to have been given a room with the castle as the view. Breakfast is just enough to fuel the body for a day’s walk. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Ms. Andrea who arranged a birthday surprise for me and always ready with a smile on her face whenever i saw her in the reception area. The hotel was a bit dated but you will not feel it as it is well maintained and always clean. There is also a restaurant in this hotel with inside and outside seating (front and back of the hotel overlooking the river and the castle). TIP: if you are coming from the bus station, though the hotel can be accessed by foot, request for a green taxi. Don’t attempt to walk upto the hotel if you are carrying a wheeled luggage as it may break in the cobbled stone pedestrian.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It's right on the river, next to the bridge and close to everything that Cesky Krumlov has to offer. The bedrooms are spacious, clean with a great bathroom and pretty well equipped.

The only comment for the room was that although it had a kettle and some tea bags, there was no coffee! Not really a big problem but had coffee been available, even in tiny Nescafe sachets, I would have had not one thing to complain about with the room. Breakfast was not as good as I expected but there was plenty to eat and a good variety. The biggest complaint I and probably others have had is that the bread ran out and nobody re-stocked the shelf!

The riverside restaurant was excellent. The trout was excellent. The location of the hotel is very good. It is in the centre of the historic old city and next to the river. Our room with a river view and castle view was excellent. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Only problem with the location is that the hotel does not have any parking. The car has to be parked in the public car parks outside the historic city and one has to either take a taxi or walk to the hotel with the luggage.

The hotel is in a perfect, beautiful location. Already during our previous visit, we decided to return with our friends. If there is no bridge closure, you can easily reach all points of the city. Perfect breakfast, perfect rooms, beautiful view. The city is fabulous, great beers and food.

I booked three rooms in the hotel. The goal was specifically to have the hotel in the center of the city. The bridge next to the hotel was completely closed due to renovation. It would have been good if the hotel had informed us about this, because we would have organized our parking and transportation differently. Unfortunately, our car was also broken into in the P2 parking lot (probably they observed the traffic and copied the key's signal).

Scrambled eggs were good. Location was excellent although a bit noisy on weekend as we had to have windows open since no air conditioning. We had a family emergency where we had to leave one day early but the front desk clerk was so concerned about us he asked our traveling companions later if we were all right and to send us his best wishes. A caring staff person. What price do you on that?!

Location and rooms excellent especially castle view. Nice touch with complimentary fruit and bottled water and sweets.

Appreciate it is low season therefore lower numbers of staff however being told one night that to wait for a drink would take 15 minutes. Also feels a lot of pressure to pay in cash rather than card which is accepted all over the world. Breakfast was great but hot section could be kept warmer.

The room was very nice and the outdoor balcony was outstanding however, the sound between the adjoining room was very poor. You could hear ever sound and word between the walls. Made for a more difficult night's sleep. Staff was exceptional but I thought they should have offered assistance with luggage to and from the room given that our room required us to carry them up a flight of stairs.
