Great location right on the steps leading to the castle. Very quiet in the evening. Room was very basic which is all a person needs. My room was on the highest floor with steep narrow steps leading to room. This hotel is not for the physically challenged, both its location and access to the rooms would make it difficult to carry heavy luggage to. But a carry-on or just a day pack is great. It made it a bit of an adventure. Kinda like staying in grandma's attic lol. Beds were adequate for sleeping and room was very clean. Room was perfect for the price point; a bed, a light and a clean bathroom.

Everything was great for an adventurous traveler.

- room was exactly the same as in the picture; little bit small with all the furniture for 3 people and a dog, however, we stayed just for 1 night, so it was OK. The room was on 1st floor, with no lift, so might be difficult for someone to get into the room or in case you have a big luggage :-) - excellent location, right next to Castle, with a lot of pubs & restaurants around. The accommodation is situated on small, quite street, there are again steps to get there :-) - breakfast good, served on the ground floor, you need to order it in advance - parking outside the city center (city parking place), appr. 10 minutes by foot from accommodition. The owner has provided us with prepaid parking card. - although the check-in time was till 5pm only, we were able to check-in later, the owner left the key in the safe box - very good and prompt communication with the owner - will come back if I´m in Cesky Krumlov (probably would prefer to stay in the room by 2 instead 3 of us)

Location was great: in the heart of the historic centre. Room was very clean. Bed very comfortable. WIFI was fast and reliable. Double locks meant building was secure. Very quiet at night and in morning. Parking is outside the historic centre and very reasonable. Coffee available in many nearby shops.

No toiletries. Room smaller than anticipated. Reaching it meant climbing many narrow stairs. Fan provided (no A/C). Because the hotel is within the historic area, you must walk to it rather than drive.

Imagine yourself in a medieval fairy tale. We traveled for Christmas. That is why we chose Cesky Krumlov as the place where we, as a family, will spend the festive night itself. I tried to choose the most atmospheric place for the night, and I was not mistaken. The ancient house on the steps to the medieval castle made an unforgettable impression. Interesting, somewhat spontaneous architecture of the building. Wooden stairs inside. Strange non-rectangular rooms. The impression that you are really in the Middle Ages. My daughter was especially excited with the bears that live in the castle moat a hundred meters from the apartment. There was no permanent staff in the house for Christmas, but the keys were kindly left for us in a secret place and this quest also impressed my daughter. The rooms are small, but very nice. We lived on the top floor and we had two little windows through the roof. Church bells and the noise of the Vltava could be heard through these windows. The breakfast was not ritch, but tasty and enough to spend half a day walking around charming Cesky Krumlov. I am not looking for modern comfort and services. I am looking for atmosphere and unusual accommodations. Without a doubt, this is one of the best places we've stayed. And my family was absolutely exited. Thanks to the owners for the Christmas story. I defenetely recommend.

Nothing negative. Wonderful place.

Room is so well designed; there is no wasted space; hooks for coats, switches location, big bed. Bathroom is super with the spray massage. House is very cozy at the bottom steps of the castle. There’s a small window with the view of the castle. Nice to have kettle and microwave outside the room.

Room is very small. As I am writing this review, I realize that I didn’t get the room that I booked. I booked a larger room. Location is in the center of town but far away from the bus station. It was very difficult for me to walk from the bus station with luggage, cobble stones and many stairs steps. I didn’t see any taxi during my trip.

The room are small. Staircase are very narrow. Don't bring luggage or you will have a hard time to carry up. Cabin size is the max. Stay 2 nights. No change to the towel or clear the dustbin. Only have 1 dustbin in the toilet. Toilet door cannot close. The location is great. Turn right is to the east gate of the tower Turn left , walk upwards will be the bridge.

The toilet door cannot close. 1 table fan which create sound when it turns. No cloth hunger in the toilet.

The location of the accommodation is amazing and is in close walking distance to all the pretty parts of town. The single room is tiny, but it has all you need if you're a solo traveler just looking for a base to sleep and leave your luggage while wandering around town. The check-in and check-out went without a problem. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place

Classic and boutique hostel, very clean & nice smell of towel & bed stuffs. Location is 10/10. Fir mattress and comfortable, very clean private bathroom. The staff/owner replied quickly. Free luggage storage after chk-out for some hours.

I had to emailed some questions ie) what room number? on the day chk-in Instead of they provided me info. A bit anxiety because no reception after 5 pm afraid of something might gone wrong.

Location: couldn't be better. In the heart of the old town, on the steps up to the castle, and yet quiet at night. Staff: very friendly owner. Check- in and check- out quick and uncomplicated. Able to check in early and leave my luggage at the accommodation for a few hours on the day of departure. Room: small but homely. Bed comfortable. Could see the castle tower from my window. Fridge in room and kettle/ cups outside room- very practical. Breakfast: not a buffet but table service, which was nice. A slightly different menu every day- meat and cheese or scrambled eggs or fried eggs and bacon- very creative.

This was a perfect spot to explore the beautiful town of Český Krumlov from. My room was cozy and had a wonderful view as the accommodation is situated on the street that leads rights up to the castle. I could hear the cathedral bells from my room and was in walking distance from all the sights and experiences. The owner was so friendly and I appreciated that I could leave my backpack while I was exploring after I checked out. Thanks for the perfect stay!
