Everything was amazing, I simply don’t know where to start. From the moment of our arrival (which was a bit late due to our flight) the siblings from Casa Rossa were super flexible, friendly and accommodating. The place is amazing, very comfortable, modern rooms, lots of space, an amazing terrace and pool with a beautiful view over Palermo. Every morning Pietro offered tips for the best places in the city, the nicest beaches nearby, how to avoid crowds, everything. All, while enjoying an amazing, Sicilian breakfast on the terrace, every single day with something new. We felt so welcomed, so happy and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

All was great

I rented a three bedroom apartment for four nights. The apartment was very spacious, the beds comfortable, and equipped with everything you need. It had air conditioning in every room. The terrace had a beautiful view of the mountains and Palermo, allowing you to watch the sunrise. Two bathrooms is a plus! Of course nice pool, with his own view beautiful view. The owners were very kind and helpful. If you have a car, this is a great location; I highly recommend it!,

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, they made us feel right at home. The breakfast options were one of the best out of previous BnBs and they did us a breakfast to go when we were out on a boat trip. The hotel was incredibly clean, calm and relaxing; it was clear the staff work hard and are passionate about their family business. They were happy to answer any questions and were regularly available on WhatsApp for all needs. Beautiful location with stunning views of Monreale and Palermo, with transport available to get into Palermo.

It was a bit expensive to get a taxi from Palermo airport (45€) and a taxi into Palermo town was around 30/35€. There are alternative bus routes which are much cheaper if you don’t mind a little walk to the stop.

It was a treat to have such available, helpful, hospitable owners at the property at all times. Parking was easy and close, there were very few stairs to reach our rooms, the breakfast terrace had beautiful panoramic view of the hills above Palermo. And the breakfast was good - more than just the standard croissant, juice and coffee.

The place is akilometer outside Monreale's center so it was alongish walk to get there. However, taxis were easily avaible in the square outside the cathedral . And the catherdral is all it's cracked up to be, the best Norman Catherdral we saw in Sicily.

We really enjoyed our stay in this location. The staff was so nice . The vue was quite amazing from the terrasse. The room was spacious , big, with a comfortable bed. We were given good recommandations for evening diner. And finally the breakfast in the morning was really good , everything home made and great quality. Overall we were nicely suprised about the quality of everything as the price was very reasonable .

Breakfast was really good. More authentic than 6 other stays on our trip. Only one exceeded it. The location was good easy walk to Monreale. We did not find it too dark to walk a stretch of about 200m before lights and paved. Lovely views and although we drive to Palermo one day went on the bus the next day from Monreale about 20 min to bus stop. Cost about 10 euros for 2 return. Bus takes about 30 mins. Had room with balcony overlooking breakfast area and pool.

The staff was amazing, helpful and accommodating. The pool (though quite small) is a great bonus, fantastic for relaxing after a long day and offering spectacular views. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, everything was fresh, local, impeccably served, and they made sure to offer something new every day.

Location can be both a bonus (it is far from any hustle and bustle, no discos or parties nearby) and a bit of a drag, as the place is quite isolated — it takes about 25 minutes to get to town, and about half of it is down a rather unkempt road. If you have a car it is not a problem, but if you want to rely on public transport (there is a bus going to Palermo from Monreale every 40 minutes) you have to take it under consideration.

Not far from Palermo, easy access to city center. There is a swimming pool, big self-service dining room, fenced parking lot. Helpful receptionists, gave good hints about Palermo, etc.

the room we stayed was really close to the kitchen/breakfast room, and we heard everything the lady-cook did - moved chairs, put the glasses, plates, kitchen utensils at...,6,00 o clock in the morning...recommend asking for a room farther from the breakfast room. I would also advise sending the instructions how to reach the parking lot (as it is quite unusual to drive backwards alongside the road into the lot).

The place itself and the view down on Palermo are great. The rooms are clean, and well equipped. Parking is available on site. The whole team is super friendly and always there if you need anything. Also got great tips from Pietro on what to do and where to go in Palermo.

Only thing would be breakfast, from which I expected more, but I assume that this is just an italian habit, they just don't eat that much in the morning. And when they do, it's quite sugary. ;)

The apartment was very spacious and had a large terrace with a wonderful view. The shower was large and had plenty of hot water. There was plenty of room around the pool and the sunbeds were comfortable.

The apartment was set between 2 busy roads so there was some road noise, but this was OK when the windows were shut. It was about 20 mins walk into the town, which was fine for us but may not suit everyone.
