The property is beautifully presented; the fitout is fresh and modern and stylish. The rooms are well sized and comfortable, clean and attractive. The accommodation is wine themed and the selection of local wines, both in the room and in the shared dining area, was impressive. Breakfast was great and plentiful and there were cakes and pastries for the afternoon and evening. Most importantly, Jacqueline was a wonderful host; friendly, knowledgable and obliging.

The guesthouse is in a great location, within easy walking distance to everything. Jacqueline, the owner, provided excellent pre-arrival instructions. The room was lovely and supremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Most importantly, though, Jacqueline helped us for days before our arrival when our luggage did not arrive by courier as expected, which you can imagine was very stressful for us. She went above and beyond to try to help us. We cannot thank you enough, Jacqueline, for being our advocate while we were on our way to your place (we were off grid, high in the mountains) and after our arrival.

Nothing at all not to like.

The rooms were very modern and clean. We had two rooms and both were amazing. There was a little public area where we had breakfast and could buy a glass of wine.

Pretty common for this area but we had to carry our luggage up a few flights of stairs. This is not a negative on the property, as I mentioned this is common for Italy. Sharing just so people know what to expect.

It all started from booking, when I received detailed information on parking and how to reach the location. Self check-in was easy and the room was a very pleasant surprise. The room is very careful arranged and the beds were very comfortable. The host was very sweet and was very attentive to our needs during breakfast.

The breakfast was delicious. There were plenty of options. Each day different food was available and the portions were plentiful.

Guesthouse deWINE was a great base for exploring Merano. The check-in instructions were very detailed and we had no trouble. The bed was extremely comfortable. I had hurt my neck trying to sleep in an uncomfortable bed the night prior so was very sensitive to the bed/pillow, and they were both execellent. The shower was great, and we didn't hear any of the other guests at night (super quiet). There was an a lovely breakfast spread the next morning, and we met the host there. She made us some espressos and gave us tips on where to go hiking. We had an amazing time!

I didn't like that I had to leave! I would have liked to stay for at least 3 nights, and hope to return in the spring.

The location was fantastic - very central and easy walk to the terme, restaurants, shops, etc. The room and bathroom are both stylish and very comfortable. Good breakfast. Jacqueline is simply the best. We will absolutely come back.

Perfectly located. the owner Jacqueline is very polite, helpful and friendly. Room is well equipped. Breakfast fantastic.WiFi works perfect. So all in all a great stay. We will come back! Thank you very much.

The location is good - just a short walk from the centre of town and the river. It requires walking up stairs being on the second level. The shower was the best we’ve had in Europe! The room was spacious and very nice. The caretaker was super friendly and very very helpful.

The WiFi was poor but in the process of brewing upgraded so should be good in the near future
