The room was large, clean spacious and very comfortable. The bed was comfy and I loved the blankets. Clean and comfortable bathroom and a nice view from the balcony. The staff were very helpful and we were treated very well. Delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. Excellent large Full-Size snooker board and we enjoyed playing billiards. I would stay here again

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel in Ella! The rooms were brand new, recently renovated, and everything was spotless and modern. The view from both our room and the breakfast area was absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the sound of birds and that incredible scenery was truly priceless. It’s only 15-minute walk to Ella town, located right next to the walking trail to Little Adam’s Peak. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. A special thank you to Hansani, who took care of us during breakfast with such a warm smile and outstanding service. She made our mornings even better! The gentleman at the reception was also very welcoming, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. It was such a peaceful and memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ella. Can’t wait to come back!

The hotel room and bathroom were both spacious with comfortable chairs and desk/table and chairs, fridge, kettle etc. Our balcony overlooked the park. The shower was hot and powerful. The Manager, Nissa, was charming and helpful and all of the staff were warm and friendly. The restaurant provides a lovely buffet breakfast and menu of food in the evening. The location is perfect, just a 5 min stroll into town.

The room felt a little damp initially, which we realized can be a problem of the Nuwara Eliya area.

The service was excellent! The staff were incredibly polite and always ready to help. One of the gentlemen even offered us his personal umbrella, arranged a tuk-tuk, and organized a guide for us. When we planned to take a train to Ella during bad weather, he called the station to check if the train was running, instructed the driver to wait in case the train was canceled, and offered us to stay in the room until the next train schedule. Truly outstanding hospitality.

There was nothing we didn’t like, everything was exceptional.

1. The room was excellent for the family of 4. 2. The room was facing Victoria Park, which gives an excellent view. 3. The hotel is in heritage area, due to which the ambiance is good and gives colonial feeling. 4. It is rare to find such hotels which make stay pleasant in these days. 5. The hotel staff was very courteous and available while serving breakfast and dinner. 6. I will like to stay in the hotel again during the next trip to the city.

1. A lift for higher floors will make the property even more worthy.

Very friendly and accommodative staff. Especially the manager (Robson) was always there if I needed anything and scheduled and a nice activity at Horton Plains (breakfast was also prepared beforehand for the activity). The hotel is at a very central location just behind Victoria Park. The ground floor rooms enjoy a nice garden view and are relatively big for the price you pay. Highly recommend it! Thank you!

The location is very nice. It is very close to the city centre. You can reach the main market of the city in just 5 mins of walking. The rooms are nice and cozy, bathrooms are clean but there is a margin of improvement in the bathroom. Hot running water is available, Internet speed is good and the staff is very friendly. The manager Robson is a very cooperative guy

The bathrooms can use some improvements especially in the shower area. But they are nice if you expect what to expect from a budget hotel

I stayed three nights at Panorama and the stay was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful (I made a mistake with the booking and the staff were very accommodating to resolve it). The location is great and is right next to the park and only a 10 minute walk into town. The rooms were nice and there was always hot water and great pressure in the shower. Breakfast was a nice variety of continental food and was very good. Overall it was a very nice stay!

The hotel is wonderfully situated overlooking the park and incredibly quiet even being so near to the town centre which is only a 5 minute walk away. The rooms exceptionally large , incredibly comfortable with every amenity one could hope for. Breakfast every day was varied and did not disappointment as neither did our hosts who went out of their way to enquire and ensure that every guests stay is relaxed, joyful and welcoming and comfortable. We can thoroughly recommend this hotel , it really is one of the best as too are the hosts, in Nuwara Elia!

We loved it all.

The hotel itself was nice, comfortable rooms with comfy bed and lot of blankets so it was not cold at night. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was good. Despite some issues with booking, staff found quickly a solution. Thank you and I can recommend this hotel!

I noticed this in many places in Sri Lanka, that there’s not enough staff in service segment. I don’t know if owners want to cut costs for maximum or season is not full on, however the hotel was full and only 3 or 4 staff members were working there almost 24/7 doing completely everything from cooking, reception, cleaning etc. so this is more the manager’s problem. Anyway everyone was super nice and helpful.
