I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was clean, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The overall atmosphere was pleasant.

While the hotel itself was good, I was disappointed with the food at the restaurant. The chef was very friendly, but the dishes were too salty. Unfortunately, my kids couldn’t eat the food, so we had to dine outside the hotel. I hope they improve the food quality in the future."

Close proximity to the Grand Hotel which is ideal if you're going to afternoon tea. Also very close to Victoria Park, the Turf Club and a great food court. Short 5 minute walk to the main town and post office. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We paid to do some laundry and they had it back to us washed, dried and freshly pressed in just a couple of hours which was very impressive as we hadn't even paid for an express service!!

Nothing, we had a great stay! There isn't a pool but you don't really need one because of the weather!

Centrally located near the high end hotels (Grand Hotel, Araliya) and walking distance to Victoria Park, yet in a quiet corner. Staff was very helpful with luggages as well as swiftly addressing a couple of bathroom issues. There was a modern heater that warmed the room up really fast. Quite useful with a small kid in the cold of Nuwara Eliya. Even though the room seemed small at first as we could barely find enough space to open three suitcases, the storage options (shelves, hangers) were quite plentiful, allowing us to conveniently organize our personal belongings. It was also a nice touch to provide a basket for us to store the decorative pillows. Onsite restaurant prepared fresh meals on demand at reasonable price. We hired a car & driver for our trip in Sri Lanka, the hotel provided parking for the car. This was the only hotel in the entire trip where our driver parked the car where we stayed.

On the first night we went to sleep quite early after a long trip from Sigiriya and preparing for an early start to Horton Plains. However the room was not sound proof at all, we could hear people talking, dishes and cutleries clanking from either the dining area or the social area in front of the rooms. It was not an issue on the second night though.

The location and the size of the room is really good.

The fact that there was people shouting in the reception at night time and nobody was taking care of the comfort of the residents was very unpleasant. It seems like nobody is looking after the property at night time and we had to ask to the people involved to be quiet. Breakfast was not good at all. Poor choices and bad quality. Coffee terrible. As a suggestion, the hotel needs to be renovated soon to keep the charm and the breakfast needs to improve considerably.

Great location (near the Grand Hotel, not far to supermarkets, local shops & the amazing Post Office). Great staff who were very smiley & friendly and who did their best to make your stay comfortable. Dinner was good & much better value than the awful pizzas at the Coffee House in town! Breakfast section was fine - a few western /Sri hot options, cornflakes, juice, fruit, toast, cake & your choice of eggs. The jacuzzi suite has a lovely balcony but if you’re only on a short stay the other rooms looked lovely & more reasonably priced. Lovely cup of Ceylon tea on arrival , thank you! Lift . Very kind to our driver/guide too.

Some minor sprucing up needed but not a stopper. Quite expensive (jacuzzi suite) for Sri Lanka but Nuwara Eliya generally is.

Location is excellent, lovely view, in the middle of it all but tucked away, short walk or tuktuk to many of the main attractions. Hotel is new-ish and clean, room is westernized/upscale, very comfortable bed and bedding. Shower and bathroom were excellent. Jacuzzi and balcony were lovely additions. Wonderful staff were very attentive, caring, and accommodating.

We were situated above the cafe and there is no sound dampening to block the noise from the cafe, but this didn’t bother us very much. TV reception isn’t great for many channels. Jacuzzi room could use some upkeep. We did not like the food or the western breakfast.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and we were greeted by a gentleman who was very polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and the centre. Enjoyed our stay!

The breakfast was good, just a bit limited; I would have liked a hopper. The room was very good, however had only one socket that I could see.

The room was very comfortable, spacious and beautiful. We had the cherry blossom room the best in hotel. Highly recommend this room with a flame effect fire. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The games room was fun. The breakfast was quite ordinary unfortunately. Great location close to town so you can walk to all the sights.

They gave me a free upgrade to a larger room which was very spacious and nicely furnished. Very comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to town and there is a nice food court just around the corner. A cosy hotel. The greenery near the hotel is great because it is next to a golf course.

The beds were too hard and the hot water was a bit inconsistent. Breakfast was a bit limited in choice . Building work opposite so had to keep the curtains closed
