The property was in a good location to the town and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast was really good and they gave good recommendations for dinner. Lovely balcony over the view of the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka

It poured with rain when we stayed there and we did have a very small leak in the night in our room which we informed the staff of the next day. The bathroom did smell a bit and we put this down to the rain and drainage again.

Very good property with good staff. What you see in the photo is what you will see in reality. Very clean rooms. Value for money. Excellent staff. The front office person Sathish Devarakonda will follow up on the day of arrival on WhatsApp and make you feel at home. Another staff Ranjith ( aka Bruce Lee) is also a great guy. All of them speak Tamil as well. Overall an excellent calm stay. I would highly recommend this place.

I had requested for Indian breakfast, which they apparently get from outside. Not great though they gave me good quantity and variety. I would have instead settled for fresh fruits and bread butter jam toast. But no big complaints

We enjoyed the Breakfast, as we selected Sri Lankan breakfast. There was plenty to eat and the staff were great. The rooms were great too and clean. The toilets were very clean, you can request the rooms to be cleaned daily, which is positive.

We were allocated the top rooms, and the first night there was a missing outdoor light which made it difficult to see at night when you needed to come down the stairs and due to the rain the rooms got wet as the rain beating onto the door. But the staff were helpful and fixed the light the next day and also they cleaned the water that seeped into the room.

I stayed here for one night, i really wanted to stay more Anyhow the hotel itself is amazing just to look at and the room was very clean and smelled nice, the price is affordable ( it was off season so it might be higher in the high season ) the view from the balcony was stunning, about the staff they were very friendly, helped alot in arranging the tea factory tour, they give me an umbrella to borrow while staying and even recommended some places to visit

If there is anything i would say that it was soooooo cold but this not in their hand and there is no light in the night so it might be a bit dangerous but you can always use tok tok in the night

The room was big. Sathish contacted me prior to arrival to ask if we needed a transfer from the station (which we did). We were also offered a tour of the area (tea factory visit and the waterfalls). The hotel is close to the main road with several restaurants nearby. Good breakfast.

The room itself looked “fresher” on the photos (although the bathroom was new). Main issue - it was cold in the room as the windows did not close properly. The bathroom window is just wood, no glass. We were given an extra blanket and a heater though which helped a lot!

What a cool looking hotel. It’s close to the centre, it’s clean, the shower and bathroom are top quality. The bed is also super comfortable. But most importantly the staff. This is what makes these places. The manager on shift was so so helpful. I was only in Nuwara Eliya for a very short time (24 hours), and he made absolutely sure I had the best experience. Despite leaving at 6am he made sure I had a breakfast bag to take with me. It’s also very close to the centre.

The structure is unique. The room is spacious and really well decorated. Bed was really comfortable. On top the host was really kind and made sure every detail was in place during our stay

Some details can be improved, like no proper window in the bathroom hence cold was coming in (only there), tv available but not connected (he mentioned was not set yet) and we weren’t able to find hairdryer. Although nothing major that didn’t really impacted our stay.

We had a lovely and spacious room with a view. The restaurant provides nice breakfast and dinner (extra payment but very good value). The manager is very helpful and welcoming.. The staff is professional and friendly.

Everything was great. Some of the negative reviews from other guests are a bit ridiculous. If you travel to the mountains not only in Sri Lanka but anywhere else, expect cold and rain, it's nature and the weather is often not predictable in high altitudes, so dress for the mountains, not for the beach....

The Ramp is a delightful hotel that exudes comfort and convenience. The rooms are not just spacious but also wonderfully cozy, creating a perfect retreat after a long day. The experience at the hotel was nothing short of fantastic, largely due to the exceptional service provided by employee Sathiesh. His attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond truly elevated the stay. Moreover, the hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, a highly recommended stay for anyone seeking comfort, great service, and a prime location.

Nothing everything was perfect.
