We loved our room, it was a corner room with a gorgeous view out across the lake on the sixth floor. Since we were there across the new year holiday, the hotel had large dinner buffets both of our nights of stay. The restaurant staff were incredible, professional and friendly and hard-working, and the food was exquisite, many many delicious Sri Lankan dishes. There were hundreds of people each night at these buffets. The hotel management was also excellent, and the room was clean and very comfortable. For as large as this hotel is, and for the amount of guests it had during our stay, everything went off extremely well!

Large hotel, keeping typical standards. Road to the entrance very narrow, challenging for busses, who the turn in front of the hotel.

Having to pay extra for a decent coffee at thd breakfast does not seem to be appropriate. This should be part of the service as it was so far in hotel I visited in very differnt places. A better selection of the excellent teas grown in the region would also be welcome. Why do the large hotel not help in promoting local teas? While the room is spacious, we missed the lamps next to the bed. For us it felt as if they were forgotten.

The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The pool was amazing and very safe and suitable for little kids.

The buffet could have had a few more variations. The desserts could be better.

The Seven Hills restaurant's buffet was exquisite, and the rooms were both spacious and comfortable, with adequate heating. Additionally, I enjoyed the breathtaking view. Extremely tidy. The terrace's 360-degree view was delightful. An ideal destination for a family vacation

I was surprised there was no 24-hour in-house dining given the hilltop setting and few nearby food options. I disliked paying for toothpaste, toothbrushes, and water bottles. The shower was old-fashioned. The  coffee shop fell short due to lack of staff and insufficient options in the menu.

Stayed in a deluxe room with modern facilities. Room was well cleaned and quiet. Food were delicious and international buffet was availbale for main meals. The restaurant is amazing and has a pleasant environment. Had considerable amount of food choices. Hotel has a great view deck with 360° view. It's good to spend a vacation here🤩

Overall, it was a very clean property. Roms were big, clean, and had a vice nice view of mountains and the Gregory Lake. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Washrooms were clean, big and had all necessary amenities with separate shower area. Pool and Gym were also good. Reception lobby and surrounding were also quite decorated. Had a wonderful time at the hotel.

The breakfast menu was very limited. Corridors and rooms need some more decoration. The gym had no mirror inside.

The location is wonderful and near to the town (walking distance) The Staff especially Swimming pool staff really helpful and knowledgeable Features of the hotel good

Feel some dull in the reception. when we call for any request it will happen with some time delay. Playing table with the bar need to pay for play for the guests of the hotel.

Talk abiut forst impressions. We can to the Araliya red and were greeted with a smile. We were asked to sit down on the comfy couches and were immediately given a small cup and saucer with an amazing warm soup to drink to help us warm up. The food at the hotel was fantastic. It was focussed on a sri Lankan menu and the spread was more than enough. We took the half board which provided us with breakfast and dinner. I recommend this option especially with kids. The staff was so helpful to call tuk tuks etc and the hotel views are unbeatable. They have a "viewpoint" area on the rooftop with 360 views. Gorgeous. Room was massive with two huge beds. Also warm heated pool to enjoy. Well done Araliya Red.

One of the best hotels in Nuwara Eliya city . My family had a great stay at Araliya Red. We had a warm welcome and comfortable check in. This is a newly built hotel with all star class amenities. It has a beautiful indoor hot water pool and two viewpoints to enjoy the views of the area. Rooms are luxury spacious and have all facilities. Staff is professional and friendly. Food is delicious and have a good variety. Definitely can recommend for anyone who seeks a cozy stay at Nuwara Eliya city
