What I liked the most was the helpful and willingness nature of the staff members. From the bell boy to the housekeepers, everyone was always genuinely attentive and friendly. The room was spacious and cozy with a stunning view of the city. We were 3 and were provided with more than enough pillows for us. We were on RO basis assuming we’d not be dining always at the restaurant. We were so wrong as we dined out only once. The in house restaurant offered a wide range of options for both dinner and breakfast. Live music was played during dinner that bought ambience to the already vibrant dinning hall. The quality of food was excellent and the ingredients used were super fresh as well. The food journey was completed by the excellent service from the F&B team. Shenu and thrishka to name a few. We used the swimming pool quite often during our stay. The shower facilities were extremely clean and spotless. The pool was warm and the water was not overly concentrated with chlorine. Kumar who maintained and managed the pool area was very friendly and kind to me and my family. Last and not the least, the bell man we had was the absolute best. As we were in need of a transfer way back to Colombo, he offered to help find us a good driver with a decent car. Me and my family are grateful for the services we received and we would definitely choose Araliya Red again. We would whole heartedly recommend this for the other travelers as well.

His assistance and dedication to providing excellent food truly enhanced our experience, and we are incredibly grateful for his support. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel welcomed and valued. Our stay at Araliya Red in Nuwara Eliya was truly unforgettable. The hotel offered everything we could ask for comfort, great service, and an unbeatable location. One of the highlights of our stay was a delicious traditional Sri Lankan dinner that was arranged for us upon request. It was a fantastic culinary experience that gave us a real taste of the local flavors. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Nestled high in the hills, Araliya Red provides stunning views of the mountains and a panoramic overlook of the entire city of Nuwara Eliya. The fresh, cool air and peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape from the bustle of everyday life. Watching the city lights from above in the evening was simply magical. I highly recommend Araliya Red to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya. It’s a place where comfort meets natural beauty, and it left us with lasting memories.

We loved our room, it was a corner room with a gorgeous view out across the lake on the sixth floor. Since we were there across the new year holiday, the hotel had large dinner buffets both of our nights of stay. The restaurant staff were incredible, professional and friendly and hard-working, and the food was exquisite, many many delicious Sri Lankan dishes. There were hundreds of people each night at these buffets. The hotel management was also excellent, and the room was clean and very comfortable. For as large as this hotel is, and for the amount of guests it had during our stay, everything went off extremely well!

Having to pay extra for a decent coffee at thd breakfast does not seem to be appropriate. This should be part of the service as it was so far in hotel I visited in very differnt places. A better selection of the excellent teas grown in the region would also be welcome. Why do the large hotel not help in promoting local teas? While the room is spacious, we missed the lamps next to the bed. For us it felt as if they were forgotten.

The house keeping mngr Nissanth tried his best to accommodate my bedding requirement. It is a comfortable hotel. It’s budget because certain things you have to buy like extra water bottle, room slipper etc. it’s clean hotel with good hot water, heater and great breakfast for extra charge.

Some corners of the room is dirty and not wiped. Housekeeping requests take long time or multiple times to get completed

The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The pool was amazing and very safe and suitable for little kids.

The buffet could have had a few more variations. The desserts could be better.

The Seven Hills restaurant's buffet was exquisite, and the rooms were both spacious and comfortable, with adequate heating. Additionally, I enjoyed the breathtaking view. Extremely tidy. The terrace's 360-degree view was delightful. An ideal destination for a family vacation

I was surprised there was no 24-hour in-house dining given the hilltop setting and few nearby food options. I disliked paying for toothpaste, toothbrushes, and water bottles. The shower was old-fashioned. The  coffee shop fell short due to lack of staff and insufficient options in the menu.

Stayed in a deluxe room with modern facilities. Room was well cleaned and quiet. Food were delicious and international buffet was availbale for main meals. The restaurant is amazing and has a pleasant environment. Had considerable amount of food choices. Hotel has a great view deck with 360° view. It's good to spend a vacation here🤩
