Lovely hotel! Warm-hearted stuff. Self service bar, you just have to write down what you had and the next day you have to pay cash. I didn’t have CZ currency for what I had at the bar at night and they told me I don’t need to pay anymore. They struggled to make us feel confortable, always smiling, even though they knew no English at all. The breakfast was really nice

Beautiful and quiet area. Self check in is possible. Great breakfast. We had a dog with us and it wasn’t a problem for them :) This place was a perfect stop for us on our road trip. We stayed only for one night and it was one of the best stops :) Staff was very friendly and kind.

Very pleasant and comfortable, the owner was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast superb (and huge!). The fridge and kettle in the room was a very welcome bonus!

The key to the main door downstairs did not work very well; it took some effort to open it (perhaps it was a 'copy' key, that was not well cut).

very friendly staff, short distance from Krumlov and from Lipno Reservoir quiet rural village location name means “old school house” and this was the theme, with biology geography etc posters on wall, rooms are labelled like class rooms… nice idea!

It was located in nice areas, surrounded by green hills, close to Czeski Krumlov and Lipno lake.

The building is old, but unfortunately it was also possible to smell in the air that this was old and all furnitures were very old. Bed was very uncomfortable.
